57 male. Looking for one shots to start so that I can get acclimated to the rules, but eventually would like to find a long term campaign with a long term group. I prefer role-play heavy over mechanics, though I'd prefer to play in a well-defined system, whether by the book or homebrew. Not interested in disorganized or make it up as you go systems. Once I am comfortable with a given system, I'd be happy to take turns as GM/DM. I'm open to all sorts of groups and players. Sexual orientation, gender identity, race, etc., don't matter to me as much as a good group of like-minded individuals. If it matters to you, I am a cis hetero male, atheist, liberal, but what does that have to do with a role playing game, anyway? Real life personalities/preferences are best left at the door. Age of group members is not as important as maturity. It's fun to be silly on occasion, but I don't enjoy it as a regular modus operandi. Prefer adventure-driven campaigns that focus on questing and discovery. Prefer fantasy/swords and sorcery systems, but willing to explore other systems if the group is right. Not interested in war games, but open to the occasional board game night as a change of pace. My availability for the time being is mostly Wednesday evenings, Friday evenings, and pretty much any time on the weekends as part of a regular schedule or with  a few days' notice. I own several digital copies of rulebooks including D&D 5e, Pathfinder 2e, Cyberpunk Red and various others. Give me a holler if any of this jives with what your group needs.
