THIS IS NOW AN ACTIVE CAMPAIGN MONDAY GROUP WILL HAVE SESSION 0 ON MAY THE FOURTH Online Campaign  Uses discord and roll20 ▪︎●▪︎●▪︎●▪︎ THE ROT THAT FOLLOWS  A Story-Driven Eldritch Horror Campaign in the Forgotten Realms You survive a nautiloid crash. You wash ashore in Seabrooke a coastal village that is literally sinking into the sea. Homes are half-submerged. The docks are rotting. People are disappearing. The poor are being “relocated” by order of Lord Darius Therin, the noble who controls the wealthy quarter above the flooding streets. The guards say it’s for their own safety. It isn’t. There’s something spreading through Seabrooke. People call it the Rot. No one agrees on what it is a plague, curse, or something far older. But it’s changing people. And Lord Therin knows more than he’s letting on. This campaign is set in the Forgotten Realms and leans heavily into eldritch horror, political tension, and slow building dread. ▪︎●▪︎●▪︎● What You Can Expect Strong focus on story and character choices Roleplay-heavy sessions with meaningful consequences Cosmic horror and creeping mystery Moral grey areas- no obvious “good” answers Milestone leveling (no XP tracking) Rule of Cool always welcome I run games that prioritize immersion and momentum. If something is dramatic, creative, and fits the moment, we’ll make it work. I’m more interested in telling a compelling story together than stopping the game to argue over edge-case mechanics. ▪︎●▪︎●▪︎●▪︎ This Game Is For You If: You enjoy darker fantasy with unsettling themes You like unraveling mysteries over time You want your character’s backstory to matter You prefer narrative weight over dungeon crawling grind ▪︎●▪︎●▪︎●▪︎ Seabrooke is sinking. The Rot is spreading. And something beneath the surface is watching. If that sounds like your kind of story, I’d love to have you at the table. ▪︎●▪︎●▪︎●▪︎ Spots  Monday 6pm [1/7] 15 pound per session. A minimum of 4 players needed to start. The Devil's Island

Paid game Paid game
A campaign for players of all level of experience. If you enjoy a long term campaign that's heavy role-playing with combat that's pirate themed, then come join the adventure  ☠️ The Devil’s Island ☠️ Gold has a way of finding the desperate… and the foolish. You were both. Seven thousand platinum. Split between strangers. All for a simple job-no blood, no risk, just a staged heist in one of the most luxurious taverns you’ve ever set foot in. Steal a ruby, outplay the competition, walk away richer than you’ve ever dreamed. Easy. It was supposed to be easy. But somewhere between the laughter, the wagers, and the clink of fine glasses… something changed. The other crews never made it back. Their ships were found broken-dragged beneath black waves, crews drowned, cargo lost to the deep. And somehow… every whisper, every accusation, every scrap of evidence points to you. Now you’re not competitors. You’re fugitives. To clear your names, you’ll need to do the unthinkable-steal a ship, outrun the law, and chase the truth across unforgiving seas. But the deeper you dig, the worse it gets. There are rumours. Of an artifact called the veilbreaker, stolen the same night as the ruby. Of storms that rise without warning, swallowing fleets whole. Of the dead… refusing to stay buried. Out on the open sea, it isn’t just pirates hunting you. The ocean remembers. And something beneath the waves wants you dead. The galaxy is changing… and not for the better. The Yuuzhan Vong have arrived from beyond the known galaxy, bringing living ships, terrifying biotechnology, and a hatred of machines that has already left entire worlds in ruin. The New Republic is struggling to respond, the Jedi are stretched thin, and the hyperspace lanes are filled with refugees, rumors, and fear. In the middle of this chaos, you are part of a small crew trying to survive and make a difference. Maybe you’re Jedi trying to understand this strange new enemy. Maybe you’re soldiers fighting a desperate delaying action. Smugglers, scouts, diplomats, and survivors all have a place in a galaxy where the rules of war are rapidly changing. This campaign will focus heavily on roleplay, character choices, and the personal stories that unfold during a massive galactic war. Expect tense negotiations, dangerous missions behind enemy lines, moral dilemmas, and moments where your characters must decide what they’re willing to sacrifice to protect the galaxy. The Yuuzhan Vong are coming. Who will your character be when the galaxy needs heroes… or survivors? Looking for GM and Players.  Saturdays 10:00 AM GMT Does this day and time work for you, and can you reliably make the sessions? How old are you and how much RPG experience do you have? Do both you and your character work well in a team? Are you familiar with Saga Edition and do you have a copy of it? What is your character concept?

Star Frontiers RPG – Mystery at the Edge of the Frontier Several remote settlements and listening posts on the edge of the Frontier have suddenly gone silent. No distress calls. No wreckage. Just… silence. The UPF is quietly assembling a small investigation team to find out what happened. Is it the return of the Sathar? Pirates operating beyond the patrol routes? A corporate black project gone wrong? Or something far stranger lurking in unexplored space? Your crew will travel to isolated colonies, abandoned outposts, and deep-space installations to uncover the truth. Expect investigation, exploration, tense encounters, and the possibility that whatever caused the disappearances may still be out there. System: Star Frontiers Tone: Sci-fi mystery, exploration, action, and lots of role play Characters: Frontier operatives hired to investigate the missing colonies The Frontier is vast. Sometimes things disappear out there. The real question is: do you want to find out why? Looking for GM and Players.  Saturdays 11:00 AM GMT

In the world of Nytheris, four great kingdoms once waged endless war:     Aurevyn, Kingdom of the Stars     Velarune, Kingdom of the Veil     Olyssakar, Kingdom of the Deep Waters     Averinthia, Kingdom of the Emerald Flame From their founding to the fall of countless minor realms, war was their language. Each sought to claim dominion over Nytheris. Just as Aurevyn prepared to deliver the final blow and unite the land under starlight, the skies blackened. A new land appeared on the edge of existence a country of absolute darkness. No stars. No sun. No name. Just a pull. A whisper. A hunger. Scouts were sent. They returned blind, babbling, mad. Yet in their madness were whispers, fragments of forgotten truths. For the first time in known history, the four kingdoms set aside their hatred. Together, they formed an alliance to explore this unnatural land, hoping to unlock its secrets. But once inside, they found horror. Light barely held back the dark. Creatures thought long gone or never real moved in the shadows. Time unraveled. Memory twisted. And the truth they sought may cost them more than war ever did. $20 per session the session zero and 1 are free  https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmo37x79400yhla04jx9bkge6?ref=clxg3ws7o0000rd1dw3ynzi2f

Age of Worms 3.5 (in the Forgotten Realms)

Application Process: 1. The applicant reads all the information below in full. 2. The applicant completes the application and submits their responses. 3. The DM reviews the application and provides feedback. 4. The applicant submits their mythweaver URL for their Trapfinder character sheet. At this stage, only the full character build is needed; equipment and items are not required yet. 5. The DM reviews the character sheet for legality and optimization. 6. The DM speaks with the applicant over Discord voice chat for final consideration. 7. The DM shares the 34-page player's guide, which includes the house rules in greater detail. 8. The applicant updates their character sheet and enters their inventory into the Google Sheet 9. The applicant builds their character in Foundry, with DM assistance as needed Age of Worms Adventure Path The Age of Worms adventure path is structured into 12 chapters, each presenting distinct challenges, locations, and quests for the characters to embark on. With an estimated game time of 15-30 hours per chapter, the campaign spans from the characters' humble beginnings at 1st level to their epic culmination at 21st level. Without giving away any specific plot details, the campaign revolves around a dark and ancient evil force that threatens the world. The characters find themselves embroiled in a series of events and quests that lead them to confront this malevolent entity known as Kyuss, the Wormgod. The players will encounter cultists, undead creatures, and other foes aligned with Kyuss, all while unraveling a complex web of intrigue and secrets. Scheduling. Weekly, Mondays @ 7:00 PM EST (GMT-5) for 3.5 hours We schedule an entire month's worth of sessions in advance and work around people's schedules. We only play if everyone is able to attend. If one person can't make it, we reschedule another day that week. If that is not possible, then we do not play that week. We do sessions to make up for missed ones and occasionally do extra sessions if everyone is up for it. If a player cannot attend a scheduled game (something comes up) they will try to give as much advance notice as possible. No shows are heavily frowned upon, the first time is forgiven, but a second time is not. So if something happens, you must communicate as people's time are valuable. We have a committed and serious group of players, with 71 sessions played since November 2024. - We are looking for someone with enough flexibility to play on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday if scheduling conflicts come up. - We are looking for someone who is punctual for scheduled sessions and communicates clearly and reliably. - We are primarily looking for players whose time zones are in or reasonably close to EST. Scheduling is one of the biggest challenges in keeping a game running, and we need players whose time zones allow for some flexibility. A large gap makes it much harder when sessions run late or need to be shifted by 1 to 2 hours.  Highly Lethal Campaign You are expected to optimize. Those who aren't will either die quickly or be outshined by the other party members. Items may be destroyed as per written combat tactics. Just like how players have access to most books, the monsters do as well. They are improved to perform their written tactics more effectively. - If you fear or get upset by character death and items being destroyed, then this campaign may not be a good fit for you. - PC deaths so far: 2 in chapter one, 3 in chapter two, 0 in chapter three, 1 in chapter four, 5 in chapter five. Serious Tone We use spreadsheets to track WBL, encumbrance and loot distribute distribution. We use a buyback and downtime day system that is logged through Discord. - If you're looking for a casual game or prefer a laid-back, low-bookkeeping style, this campaign may not be a good fit for you. - We're looking for someone who is responsive and reliable with between-session tasks, such as logging downtime days and buyback, updating character sheets after leveling, and updating character tokens in Foundry. - If your availability is so limited that you can only check Discord or response to messages on one day of the week, this campaign may not be a good fit for you. Heavily Modified The adventure path has been adapted from Greyhawk to Forgotten Realms 1374 DR, with changes to the plot, creatures, and NPCs. There is a 34-page player's guide that covers the house rules. Some of these changes may feel familiar if you know the adjustments Paizo made to improve 3.5e, but these are my own interpretations and revisions. In general, martials characters are buffed, spellcasters are mostly unchanged, and obvious abuses/cheese are not allowed. - If you're not already comfortable with 3.5e rules, you may find the system and house rule changes be overwhelming. Some House Rules in use: - Appraise checks are used for finding buyers to sell party loot. Results affect the sell price. - Open Lock is removed and is done through Disable Device. - Evocation spell rebalancing. - Mundane armor, weapons, templates and special material rebalancing - Fighter bonus feat rebalancing (prereqs, merging of feats, scaling in power); feats such as two-weapon fighting, weapon focus, precise shot, etc. - Some feats are turned into Skill Tricks. - Realistic limits on the size of carried weapons and items will be observed. - Heavy armor and heavy load causes fatigue after long periods. - Downtime days (DTD) are awarded per session. Spent as a party that advances the calendar. - Resurrection material component costs are lessened.  Resurrection is paid from your character's personal wealth. - Raised characters do not lose a level, they gain resurrection sickness (similar to negative levels) that is temporary. - Players are locked into roles (cleric, arcanist, bruiser, trapfinder/scoundrel), unless there is a multiple PK or a TPK, they may switch roles. - Inventory, treasure and loot distribution is carefully tracked in google sheets. - Buyback system in place for loot distribution. Buyback at 50%. - Party loot is split into 5 shares (1 for each PC and 1 for party fund). - Party fund is for party purchases, must be agreed upon each member. - Sharing/gifting wealth to other players is not allowed. - Action points are used to reduce lethality due to bad luck. - Alternate turning rules are used due to large amounts of undead. Tracking fleeing enemies suck. - Bloodied status, enemies are blooded at 50% hp. - Combat maneuvers; aim, counter-attack, play dead, out-of-turn dodge. Your Role as the Trapfinder For balanced party comp, each player has their own role they fulfil within the party (bruiser, cleric, arcanist, trapfinder). You will fill the Trapfinder role. The Trapfinder prevents party deaths from mechanical and magical traps by specializing in the only two essential skills in the game: Search and Disable Device, supported by the Trapfinding class ability. While locks and doors can often be bypassed by force, some published modules include deadly traps that demand a dedicated trapfinder to avoid instant party wipes. Having spells that could mitigate these traps doesn’t replace the need for a reliable specialist, as those spells may not always be available. Character Creation Guidelines - ECL 11 (Max Race LA+1, No templates for new characters) - 32-pt buy for ability scores - Standard WBL (no single item exceeding 1/4 WBL, no combined items for new characters) - No multiclass penalty - Flaws and traits allowed - HP: either roll your HD (official rolls in Discord) or take the average - Official 3.5e sources are allowed, including Dragon Magazine and Forgotten Realms 3.0/3.5 material, except for CP and XPH, homebrew, third-party, and other campaign-specific books are not allowed.  Considerations when building your Trapfinder - You are expected to optimize. - You should have both melee and ranged options and be able to deal damage to contribute. -If you get sneak attack, be aware that there are undead, constructs, oozes, elementals. It is especially undead heavy. You should plan accordingly. - Open Lock is replaced by Disable Device. - Waterdeep has mark up prices on everything. Gather Information is used to purchase items at normal 1.0 rates Current Party Composition They are high powered and very optimized: - (bruiser role) LE Goliath Cloistered Cleric 1/Fighter 2/Crusader 3/Ruby Knight Vindicator 4 - (arcanist role) CE Gray Elf Beguiler 6/Mindbender 1/Shadowcraft Mage 5 - (cleric role) N Arcane Gnome Archivist 5/Divine Oracle 2/Thaumaterge 5 Application Link: https://forms.gle/a8PdPcitb1NTZMyF7

Campaigned aimed at mature Players, but opened to all experience levels. Session Time: 8PM EDT/EST Thursday System: Savage Worlds Adventure Platforms Used: Discord, Roll20 Price: $19 Travel the Continent ravaged by war and another conjunction of spheres. World needs heroes like never before, but really best it can hope for, are people trying their best in a shitty situation. If someone enjoys the Witcher games, books and probably not as much with the Netflix series that's the right address. I want to capture more role play heavy, character oriented style of this world. Congratulations. You have been selected to participate in Deathmatch Island. Winning will mean fame, freedom, and unlimited wealth. You may be experiencing some confusion and memory loss. This is normal following the Selection and Recruitment Process. It is important that you do not panic. Your memories will return to you gradually. Look around you—these competitors are your starting team. You might like to try some ice-breakers; trust and good teamwork are crucial to victory but not everyone is trustworthy. In a few minutes, the siren will sound and PHASE ONE will begin. In this phase, you will explore ISLAND ONE, complete challenges, acquire resources, and meet other contestants—alliances will be formed and threats will be eliminated. At the end of Phase One, the siren will sound again. This signals PHASE TWO; the battle royale. Only half of the competitors will survive this phase. The survivors progress to ISLAND TWO. Survive all islands to earn the ultimate reward.  Good luck, competitor. Play to win. <Deathmatch Island lets players compete in a deadly game on a mysterious series of islands. It is as much inspired by Lost as it is by Squid Game. The game, by Tim Denee, uses the abstract resolution mechanics of the AGON system to deliver a tightly-focused narrative that still benefits from high player agency and authority.> <I'd like to play every week on Tuesday evenings, from 8-10 CST, but this is negotiable. I estimate 12-16 total sessions, but this too is negotiable.> <We have a couple of people signed up so this game will be kicking off on 4/28/2026. Hit me up if you want in or if you can't make this round but would like to be notified of future Deathmatch Island games!>

Paid game Paid game
A warlock orc, a kobold warrior, a drow ranger and a human sorcerer are waiting for their final partner. The group has already completed the first dungeon and has reached Phandalin, but the story has just begun. You will start at level 2 to match the party We play fridays at 6pm EST through foundry and discord. The entry fee is 9usd through startplaying https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmmx1kvdw00tejx048uewa9ow A small frontier town. A buried secret. A threat that watches from the dark. Phandelver and Below: The Shattered Obelisk begins as a classic sword-and-sorcery adventure: you arrive in the rugged frontier settlement of Phandalin, a town full of opportunity, tension, and hidden agendas. What starts as a straightforward job quickly unravels into something far stranger and far more dangerous. Ancient ruins stir beneath the earth. Whispers spread through the countryside. People begin acting… differently. And the deeper you dig, the clearer it becomes: something old and alien is pushing its way into the light. This campaign blends: ⚔️ Classic heroic fantasy and dungeon delving 🕵️ Mystery and investigation 🧠 Creeping cosmic horror elements 🏘️ A living town that reacts to your choices 📈 A full character journey from low levels into high-stakes play Perfect for: New players who want a strong narrative backbone Veterans who enjoy layered threats and escalating tension Groups who like their fantasy with a touch of the uncanny You’ll explore lost locations, protect (or endanger) a struggling town, uncover long-buried truths, and decide how far you're willing to go when the enemy isn’t just physical—but psychological.

Looking to start a group, I have very little experience as a GM but am willing to try if we can get some people together and no one else wants to. Right now the nearest game to me is over 100 miles away so I'm hoping there are others in my area looking for a game like myself. New to the area so I do t really know anyone and none of my classmates or coworkers have an interest. :/ please reach out if you are nearby and interested. No Pathfinder but I'm down for most others.

The Mistra Tournament

Homebrew Homebrew
Roleplay focused Roleplay focused
I am a new DM starting out with my first campaign. I value all three pillars of D&D (Combat, Rollplay, and Exploration), where each part complements the others, with emphasis on grounded sincerity during roleplay. But I am a fan of the rule of cool. Story: Mistra's Isle. The crossroad of the four shores. A former pirate haven turned thriving trade port and elven colony, extending the reach of an old alliance across the known world. Situated along the Gilded Road, it is both a reprieve for weary travelers and a volatile den for opportunists. Every race, every creed, and every coin eventually passes through its harbours. Every four years, the island hosts the Grand Mistra Tournament. Warriors from across the world answer the call — soldiers, sellswords, wanderers, and the quietly desperate — all flocking to compete for fame, fortune, and glory. You are one of them. Whatever your reason for being here, success hinges on more than steel and might. The arena is only part of it. Teams fight on a schedule, but the bold can challenge anyone, anytime — provided they have the nerve and the plan to come out the victor. Between fights, the city is yours. Scout your competition, court your allies, spend your winnings well, and rest when you can. The tournament rewards the prepared as much as the strong. So. Will you test your mettle in the arena? Immerse yourself in the power struggles simmering beneath the city's polished surface? Or is there some grander ambition driving you here that has nothing to do with the prize?

Chronicles of Alver - Viking - 2 players needed

Homebrew Homebrew
Roleplay focused Roleplay focused
TL;DR [Two Players Needed - All Welcomed] [homebrew - Viking inspired] [Thursdays 21:30 GMT +2 ] We have two slots available for a 5-player party. You can read below everything about the campaign, its settings, etc, and I can share a lot more lore with whoever gets to the Discord "face-to-face" interview :) Since the campaign launched on YouTube, you can also watch recent episodes to get a sense of the current party vibe and overall style. We keep things balanced, so there are episodes with a lot of fighting and episodes with mostly role-play. Mind - We are all experienced players/DMs but amateurs when it comes to "acting", so don't expect great acting, technical know-how, or CR level game ;) You can find it on YouTube under the name: The Chronicles of Alver - https://www.youtube.com/@ChroniclesofAlver I will add that I'm looking for people with the ability to take charge and initiate role play and conversations - I want you to feel like you're in the world and try your best to "live" in it :) Lastly, everyone is welcome to try - I don't care about your race, sexual orientation, or favorite blanket as a child. Be kind and friendly to the rest of the party, and you'll fit right in :) Click the link to apply: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScIeo4QAfbIuDVafQxzwxbnO4WD9GxjzJyPEBvs4x5R9SeiWg/viewform?usp=header ******************* Hey everyone! This post will be long as I want to give you a lot of information, so bear with me :) Index: About me About the campaign About the world Closing words About me: I'm an experienced DM (over 9 years). I would like to have five players for the campaign. You don't need to be a veteran, but I prefer some experience. The campaign is my homebrew world, which I created for a fantasy book I'm writing (and have been for several long years). I'm the head of a creative studio in an AAA-related gaming company. I'm a fantasy lover, a medieval history buff, and a martial artist, so if it has capes, I'm in! I'm a married father of three with a dog (so technically four as she's very much a daughter to me). I generally love dad jokes and word puns. I always mean my puns! About the campaign: We'll be using 5e with many homebrew elements. All the races and lore are homebrew, but for ease of use, they will all be based on edited versions of "normal" races (and all will be added to D&D Beyond). The party is currently at level 7. This will strike a balance between action and role-play. You will have a lot of weight on the story and direction. Everything goes - as long as it's realistic within the logic and magic of the world. Please let me know what you'd like to try, and we'll see how to make it happen. Death is final. Mostly. If your character dies, it'll be rare to bring them back. But you can always roll a new character. My goal is for you to enjoy the game and story. I don't want to kill your characters. I aim to provide you with a challenge, an engaging story, and a fun and immersive experience. Weekly sessions are held on Thursdays, most often (unless too many people are unable to join, in which case we'll try to find an alternative day for that week). Sessions start at 21:30 +3 GMT (18:30 UTC) and are usually two and a half hours long. We're doing video chat via the Riverside website (also for recording). I believe seeing our faces and expressions helps connect us, so I want people who are not camera-shy. No one cares how you look, what your race or color is, or whatever - be yourself (and your character), and that's great! D&D Beyond + Foundry for combat + Discord (for text chats). YouTube/Podcast - I record our sessions and post them on the campaign's YouTube channel, and may also stream them live later. I'm not delusional in thinking we'll be big or famous, but maybe some people will find our game fun to watch and benefit from it. So you need to be ok with it. Before we dive into lore and character creation, I'll ask you to sign a release form to allow me to upload videos featuring you from our sessions (all the other players have signed this form - it is to protect both you and me in the future). We speak English. I'm not a native speaker, and I don't do accents very well. But I do have excellent English. The sessions will be in English. You need to be able to speak it well. Accents are fine :) Please do not include IRL politics or agendas during sessions - These motifs are ok and might be present if they are relevant to what's going on in the session (i.e, Slavery or the Spanish Inquisition if we face a similar situation - you can use philosophical ideas obviously) - But try not to insert IRL events happening now or in recent years if possible. Age groups - around 30 or above, please Ensure you schedule a time for the session. This is important, as we've had people cancel frequently, leading to canceled sessions that significantly hinder story progression and immersion. Unforeseen shit can happen, of course, but please, if you apply, make sure you can commit to being available for the sessions each week. About the world: We'll be playing in a world called Alver on the continent of Kronland. This is a heavily Nordic-inspired world. Imagine what the late Middle Ages and Renaissance in Europe would have looked and felt like if the Vikings had become the dominant influence rather than Christianity. At the same time, there would still be distinct kingdoms with their own cultures, fashions, and styles. Norse mythology is deeply ingrained in the world.  The lore is inspired by Nordic mythology, but it is NOT Nordic mythology. It's a full-on pantheon and history I created. Some stuff will align and match, but much will not.  The continent is vast, and thus, the distance between cities, villages, and civilizations is such that the world varies greatly, from areas with rare magic and supernatural elements to cosmopolitan cities with mixed races, magic, and wonder. The game is designed to strike a balance between drama, grim humor, and epic adventure. It's not just grimdark or silly - it'll be a mix of all. You'll start small in scope, but the story is meant to go epic by the end.  There are five playable races (with some having sub-races), which I'll share the details of later, but these are the closest "D&D" races to them in racial traits: Menskr: Humans + Vel (homebrew variant human - with some innate self-magical potential) Kettir: Homebrew Tabaxi Hedlinari: Homebrew mix between Dwarfs/Gnomes/Halfings Graari: Homebrew Goliath (with horns! lol) Mal-Siva: Homebrew Aasimar (The only race that can use "real" magic classes like Wizards or Warlocks in my world) Closing words: That's it. If you read all the way here, my respect! I hope we can have a fun, friendly group to play with, grow together, and have emotional support when needed (lol). Feel free to ask me any questions you might have!

Playtest Playtest

Hey Folks! I'm In the process of putting together a playtest campaign for a game called Gifts, a narrative-first game of magic and resistance. Looking for players to join an active game Tuesdays 6:30-10p:30m eastern. Game Teaser: Gifts is a game where magic is a foil for the battleground between Oppression and Resistance. The world of Gifts is the same as our own, except magic is real and as mundane as a Wi-Fi signal. The System uses magic to automate your oppression. Players are part of the Resistance, reclaiming stolen traditions and the worship of ancient deities to protect their neighborhoods from magical gentrification and state violence. Gifts is a narrative first game that rewards imagination, quick thinking, and heart. Example Patrons: Tlaloc | Anubis | Hanuman | Poseidon | Hecate | Nyx | Nauda Silverhand | Cernunnos | Heimdall | Baron Samedi | Met Agwe | Guinevere | Jack Frost | Lilith | Lucifer | Santería | Stragheria | Feng Shui | Shakerism | Tai Chi | Capoeira | The Zeitgeist | Class Struggle Mechanics: Narrative first, RP heavy. Some crunch, and lots of character options (131 patrons written so far).

Stolen Souls: Dragon Age 2 meets DnD 5e

Roleplay focused Roleplay focused
LGBTQ+ friendly LGBTQ+ friendly
This is a game for a particular cast of PCs: Carver Hawke, Anders (already adopted as a PC), Fenris (already adopted as a PC), and Zevran (already adopted as a PC) from Dragon Age II. Schedule: weekly sessions on Saturdays, starting at 5 PM CET, ending about 9:30 PM Voice: Jitsi Platform: Owlbear Rodeo (an easy platform to learn, and you don't have to have an account there as a player) Starting Level: 1 Player requirements: - Age: 21+ - LGBQTIA+ friendly (this is in fact a game for preferably gay characters) - Reliable attendance for weekly sessions - Willing to roleplay gay romance with their PC (I'm not talking about explicit content. Just romantic gestures like kissing or embracing) About the game: Having defeated Knight Commander Meredith at the Gallows, you were making your way back to the Kirkwall Docks when your boat was swallowed by a thick fog that felt like a living thing when it began choking you. Within a couple of heartbeats, it rendered all of you unconscious. When you wake up, you find your boat washed ashore, Maker knows where, but you certainly don't. Only one thing is clear: this is not the Wounded Coast. You are nowhere near Kirkwall. All too soon you discover that this place is gripped by fear and plagued by terrors you haven't encountered before. Something evil is trapping the souls of the dead and draining life from all who have been raised from death by magic. This curse not only prevents the raising of the dead, but also causes creatures that were previously raised from the dead to wither and eventually die. Unfortunately for you, you have all been brought back from the dead at some point. On one battlefield or another, you have all known the blessing of the Revival spell. And thus, stranded now so very far from home, you are under the effect of the curse that has befallen this foreign place. You have already lost most of your power, be it magic or might, and it is only a question of time until you perish. Unless you find a way to thwart this inglorious fate and save yourselves, the land, and its people. The tone of this campaign is dark, horror-like at times. I'm looking for a cohesive party, willing to work together. We have 2 slots open (Fenris and Anders have already been adopted as PCs, and we're currently looking for a player for Carver). In this version of events: 1] rivalry between Anders and Fenris has been resolved in Kirkwall. They needn't be the greatest of friends when this story starts, but both must be able to trust the other to have their back in events to come. 2] all four men have been together on the Deep Roads Expedition (if you'd like to play Zevran, give him a plausible reason why he was there) 3] Carver might or might not have contracted the Blight while on the Deep Roads Expedition (if you'd like to play him, please indicate whether he ended up as a Grey Warden or a Templar) To apply, tell me whom of the four men you want to play, and: 1] His Class (Any class from Player's Handbook 5e, except from Monk. Acceptable source material for subclasses: Player's Handbook 5e, Xanathar's Guide to Everything, Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft) 2] His dream/ aspiration: 3] His greatest fear: 4] His willingness to have an otherworldly Patron: (this option isn't limited to a Warlock in this game, which will feature only one possible Patron. Ideally, a bond with Him should give a character another strong reason to want to resolve the mystery of stolen souls. At this point, I'm looking for players who can imagine their PC having a bond with a powerful being from Shadowfell. He's neither good nor evil, so you needn't be afraid of moral corruption of your PC). 5] Your age: Please note that I'm new to DMing, and to make things a bit easier for me, we won't do multiclassing in this game. Anyone invited will have a voice interview. If you'd like to play, drop me a message, and we'll take it from there.

LOOKING FOR DM We are a group of 5 looking for a dm who is willing to run a game that contains high fantasy and can adapt with homebrewing (ie. players creating their character home lands, custom classes, races, etc). We prefer to play around 1pm - 6pm gmt ( 8am - 1pm est ), we also need someone who is lgbtqa+ friendly, is ok with a heavy swearing, and a dm who doesn't fall in love with their players. We each have characters and stories ranging from simple paragraph to page long backstories we would like to play, and a good chunk of us prefer problem solving and roleplaying focused games than combat ( 60/40 range). Our games tend to be general trigger warnings as the stories we like to follow are relatively darker in material, so keep that in mind. Some of us have talents that can assist the game, (ie. One of our players can draw maps, One of our players can draw, etc ) We do have 2 minors within the group, one being 16 (06/04/09) and 17 (08/01/08) Please feel free to send me a message if interested Discord: alarak05

Tuesdays 11am GMT through discord and foundryvtt. Weekly. 10usd through startplaying: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmn6k9ksd017qlb04nf4a9njz We had already had our session zero and campaign proper will start on tuesday 28/04 You didn't buy this ticket. You don't remember receiving it. But somehow, it ended up in your hands — and now the train is here. The Ghostlight Express is a spectral train that ferries souls to the afterlife. Your journey through the mists of death leaves you stranded in the mysterious valley of Wickermoor Hollow — where isolated peoples are terrorized by restless dead, wicked hags, ravenous monsters, and many other creatures of a night that never ends. Somewhere in this crooked land, a Crooked Man grins beneath a Crooked Tree. He hears the whispers of something ancient and hungry. And it has noticed you. The Crooked Moon is a massive folk horror campaign drawing inspiration from grim folklore, legendary horror films, and classic Halloween aesthetics — set in Druskenvald, a demiplane of endless night where the living and dead coexist. This is not a world of shining heroes and clear-cut evil. This is a world of dread, wonder, difficult choices and stories that will haunt you long after the session ends. This campaign is built around: 🌲 Folk horror atmosphere — think Midsommar, The Witch, and Sleepy Hollow at the table 🚂 A phantom train, haunted valleys and creatures straight out of dark folklore 🎭 Deep roleplay with morally complex NPCs and a living, breathing cursed community 🃏 A Tarot-style fate system that makes every playthrough unique 👹 11 legendary boss monsters including the Wicker Man, the Ghost Train and the Horned King Perfect for: — Players who want horror that gets under their skin — not just jump scares — Groups who love rich lore, mystery and a world that feels genuinely dangerous — Veterans looking for something completely different from traditional D&D — Anyone who's ever wanted their backstory to actually matter in the story The Crooked Moon won second place for the 2025 TechRaptor Tabletop Game of the Year and was named one of the best TTRPGs of 2025 by Game Informer. This is the real deal.

Test run my sci-fi D&D campaign

Homebrew Homebrew
Playtest Playtest
So I'm a completely new DM, I've never done this before. I was/am making a sci-fi D&D campaign and i wanna test run it! It has 10 sessions in-total (not counting session 0) I don't really know how long these sessions will take as I've never DM'ed before... 40% of combat is 5E, 60% of combat is homebrew It has quite a few homebrew elements most notable being: A ship customizable with module's that effect its stats. Some monsters thats it i think Oh and this campaign isn't the most serious thing but there are some moments you need to lock in. And there are some roles that me and my friend made, so you can think of what you wanna do (at the bottom) Idk where i need to put the world backstory so ima dump it here: (Ik it isn't much but i'll incorperate your backstory into here as best i can) Nagartah (neptune-ish planet) A quiet ice/water giant, nothing special happens here. It has a history of being invaded, but the invaders often quickly leave after seeing there is nothing of value here, or at least thats what they think. There are some gaint Lithium vains that are of significant value, and propels the very few civilizations that live here to incredible tech levels. Thats also why most cyborgs are from here. Jaguda (juipiter-ish planet) There's not much to say about Jaguda, all there is that giant space station that quite an amount of people live on but thats just it Urath (earth-ish planet) A planet with a huge history, I'd rather not go into all the war-crimes that happened during the countless wars that happened here... But it is the most basic planet so idk Luna (Moon-ish Moon) Its a fu##### moon, what do you want me to write about this place? Only real thing is that there is a treaty to not touch/land/do nything on this planet to preserve its natural beauty? Okay the Urath goverment must be on some Star-high dust like B#### WHAT DO YOU MEAN NATURAL BEAUTY THERE'S NOTHING Idra (-ish Planet) Idra is an extremely cold place that is any miners dream, many ores, soft rock, and big caves! But the surface it pretty much un-livable due to the -120 degree C0 winds. Except a giant group of penguins don't agree with this basic common thought and made a civilization here. While they may have a giant fleet, penguins are clumsy yk? Avonria (-ish Moon) On of the 2 big population centers, while the majority of the population might be in EXTREME poverty. The higher-ups and government are insanely rich and posses the strongest ship known to the universe! One half of the planet is a gaint dessert, and the other one an overrun city. And don't worry, the elites are high above in their space station! Dawntor (-ish Moon) Not a big moon with alot of people, but it is the most uniqe! As this is one of the few places where magic is a normal thing, most people that see this are baffeld and suprised that that is real! So ships/parts from here are often interwoven with magic and this planet is the only way to get shields on a ship. And no I see you reading this, if your born on this plant you automtically get magic skills, even without learning! But for others its quite hard, but possible! Especially when they've spent some time on the planet it-self. Experts say this comes from 3 pillars, but come on, who believes them? CAPTAIN Skills: Wisdom, Intelligence Role: Leader, decision-maker Action (1/turn): Command: Give 1 ally advantage on their next roll Evasive Order: +bonus to dodge for the ship Focus Fire: +bonus to hit for weapons PILOT Skills: Dexterity, Wisdom Role: Movement & dodging Action (1/turn): Dodge: Avoid incoming attack (DEX check) Boost: Reposition ship Risky Maneuver: Big dodge bonus (fail = penalty) GUNNER Skills: Dexterity, Perception Role: Weapons & attacks Action (1/turn): Fire Weapons: Standard attack Aim Shot: Harder roll, more damage Suppress: Lower enemy accuracy ENGINEER Skills: Intelligence, Strength/Dexterity Role: Repairs & system boosts Action (1/turn): Repair Module: Fix damaged system Boost System: Shields ↑ Engines ↑ Weapons ↑ SCANNER / TECH Skills: Intelligence, Perception Role: Information & detection Action (1/turn): Scan Enemy: Reveal weakness Predict Attack: Give ally advantage to dodge Detect Anomaly: Find hidden threats RULES for these role's Each player takes 1 action per turn Captain gives 1 bonus command per turn Engineer chooses repair OR boost (not both) And don't worry, you can switch role's out of combat

Game Time: GMT 10 or 11 pm Tuesday or Wednesday Hail to those who still have adventure in their hearts! I, a humble GM of many systems and faces, am looking to add Daggerheart to my arsenal of games. Outside of the land of fantasy, I do a lot of work in my local TTRPG communities, and the fresh breeze of Daggerheart has slowly made its way to my country. With more and more people wanting to get into it, I decided to run a small campaign (or perhaps longer if the group clicks) in order to see how it plays.

We are looking for a dm for our pathfinder 1e table. The confirmed party members are an Ogre Warpriest of Sarenrae and a Nagaji Ninja. There are 3 other players. Ideally we want a homebrew game but one set in Golarion if possible, although we are flexible. Two of us are well versed in pathfinder 1e with the other three being newcomers but a good fit for the table. Feel free to come with any questions and I'll try and answer. Thank you and I hope to see y'all soon.

I am looking for players for a game where they take on the roles of the gods to build this fantasy setting and then explore what they created as demigods. It’s not just a single table, we’re actually creating a community of different people running different games in different parts of the world, with sword and sorcery adventure in abundance. But there’s also an emphasis on creation for those who want it. Warriors can develop their own special techniques and teach them to others. Crafters can make masterful equipment beyond anything that is for sale on the market. Mages can enchant gear to supernatural potency. Social characters can recruit an entourage to support them. And players can interact with other characters from any game to swap stories and also their creations if they wish. If you’re interested, the link to the Discord is here: https://discord.gg/qbGDexyHKJ is a link to this Discord server.

Homebrew Homebrew
Female DM with 5+ years experience looking for 2-3 more players who love to roleplay, delve deep into lore and backstories, and get a kick out of scheming, plotting and exploiting a homebrew open world in a long term weekly DND campaign. In a world where corporations vie over powerful resources, the gods have fallen silent and every choice has consequences - the party finds themselves in Fracture, a lawless, violent land, that will make or break them. A violent airship crash has left them out of work and out of pocket, thankfully, there are plenty of opportunities here to make a few gold as long as you can keep from getting shot long enough. While we have already begun the adventure, it is not too late to join! We have a barbarian, an artificer and a bard/lock, but we're happy for any class to join the crew. $20/session  6:30pm - 9:30pm AEST (9:30am BST) 2024 rules with a few homebrew ones thrown in the mix, open to exceptions and edits. Starting at level 3 Any class or species (except Spelljammer), open to homebrew requests. All backstories will be integrated into the world and story, with each character getting a chance to explore them. So, if magical storms, corrupt corporations, and crystal super weapons sounds like your kind of thing - message me if you want to know more or check out the game listing here.

The Copper Compass

Hello adventurers! We are currently over 30 members on a discord server that started as a newbie friendly tutorial group. The server is beginner-friendly, but we also welcome more experienced players. We focus on learning the basics, improving roleplay, and most importantly, creating a relaxed and enjoyable environment. I’m currently on GMT+2, and my sessions usually run in the evenings, around 19:00–20:00 until 23:00-00:00 local time. But there are other people on different time zones to play with! At the moment, I’m also looking for people who would be interested to take upon the role of Dungeon Master, be it in my campaign or in your own custom/homebrew one. If you enjoy guiding others, helping beginners understand the game and running relaxed, fun sessions, I would love to talk to you about that too. If this sounds like something you'd want to be part of, feel free to reach out!

[Online][18:00 UTC+1][Tuesdays] Stormwreck Isle

Hi! I’ll be running the official module Dragons of Stormwreck Isle, with some homebrew tweaks, using the 2024 (5.5) ruleset. This is a great adventure for all players especially new players! We’ll be playing weekly on Tuesdays at 6pm UK time using Roll20 and Discord, so please make sure you can commit to that schedule. Before starting the full campaign, I always run a one-shot (The Delian Tomb) to make sure our playstyles are a good fit. My games are story and roleplay-focused, with an emphasis on teamwork, world immersion, and collaborative storytelling. I’m looking for players who enjoy engaging with the world and sharing the spotlight with the group. If interested, please send me: • a brief introduction about yourself • the character concept you’d like to play • what you enjoy most in D&D • what kind of group dynamic you enjoy

DETAILS Online, AD&D 1e/homebrew campaign with the developer of AD&D Toolkit.  Tuesday nights 6:45pm - 9:45pm EST. REQUIREMENTS - Discord and working mic - https://roll20.net/ account - https://adndtoolkit.com/ account - $10/player/session DESCRIPTION Karmont is a small, frontier kingdom nestled among a series of mountain ranges near the coast of a largely unexplored continent.  The namesake capitol is cradled in the tallest peaks, far to the north.  Beyond the mountains are desolate lands, ruled by all matter of foul creatures.  Tantalized by the hopeful promise of treasure hordes and riches uncounted, adventurous types have been settling the coastal side of the mountains for decades now and continue to push northward. Kobolds, Goblins, and ill-mannered creatures of all sorts continually raid what cities have taken root in the fledgling kingdom.  Their ultimate aim is to drive all good peoples south, into the ocean from whence they came.  Thus the King has vowed to eventually press his forces beyond the mountains, to bring the fight to the enemy and put a permanent halt to their machinations and all of the resulting incursions.  Will you find treasure and glory in this wild, hinterlands?  Will you be able to stamp your mark as a hero of Karmont? PLEASE NOTE: This is a playtest game, I will be testing out a few different and new systems to myself in hopes of adapting them into my games in the future. This is also a playtest for the Daggerheart Drakkenheim ruleset as well so player feedback is welcomed and encouraged throughout. Wednesday 9pm GMT The 11th day of the 11th month, 1111. To some, it was a day of prophecy; to most, it was just another Tuesday in the jewel of Westemär. Then the sky split open. A star of pulsing violet fire screamed through the heavens and struck the heart of Drakkenheim, vaporizing the Royal Ward in a heartbeat. You aren't heroes, not yet. You are survivors, caught in the shadow of a dying city. As a strange, prismatic fog begins to roll through the streets and the very stones start to weep purple ichor, your only objective is simple: Get out before the Haze claims you. The air is thick with the scent of ozone and rotting flowers. Around you, the impossible is happening. People you knew are warping before your eyes, limbs lengthening, voices dissolving into wet gurgles, and sanity fraying under the glow of the "Octarine" light. This is a world of Eldritch Horror and High Stakes Survival, where every street corner offers a choice between a desperate rescue and a necessary betrayal. In this high-octane Daggerheart adventure set as a Prequel to Dungeons of Drakkenheim, you will navigate a cityscape undergoing a violent, magical metamorphosis, the day the eldritch meteor struck the city. You must balance your dwindling Hope against the encroaching Fear as you witness the birth of a nightmare that will haunt the continent for decades to come. Will you lead survivors to safety, abandoned those that are already lost, or will you become just another shadow etched into the ruins of the lost capital? The sky has fallen, the King is gone, and the Haze is hungry. Run.

Something happened to you—something you still can’t fully explain. A moment of fear, loss, or shock tore a hole in the world just wide enough for you to glimpse what most people never see. Since then, the shadows feel heavier. The silence in the woods lasts a little too long. And the stories you once dismissed as superstition no longer feel like stories at all. You are entering the Mythic North, a nineteenth-century Scandinavia where the old ways linger in the spaces modern life has yet to reach. People whisper about strange lights across the fields, figures watching from treelines, and traditions that must never be broken. You know now that these warnings were not meant for children—they were meant for you. You carry the Sight, the ability to see vaesen of myth and lore. With it comes responsibility to investigate mysteries that involve unexplained situations. When something disturbs the balance, you will be the one asked to face it. The unseen is waiting. What to expect: 🔹 A mix of premade mysteries and custom mysteries based on character backstories 🔹 A customizable home base that you can level up and gain benefits from 🔹 19th century inspired feel of alternative world Scandinavia 🔹 Story driven plot with character development implemented Never played Vaesen? New to Daggerheart? Jump into the action with an adventure! Join and learn to play Daggerheart, a system from the team at Critical Role. This adventure will teach you the basics of Daggerheart! A magical forest has appeared overnight at the city’s edge, warping reality with vibrant trees, shifting paths, and strange creatures. Tasked with investigating, you and your party will find that the forest defies ordinary rules. You must confront its puzzles, trials, and encounters that test creativity, patience, and teamwork rather than just combat skill, and every choice you make shapes how the forest responds and what secrets it reveals. This short 6 to 8 session adventure is perfect for D&D players trying Daggerheart for the first time. You’ll start at level 1 and finish at level 2, experiencing both roleplay and combat while exploring whimsical, Feywild-inspired magic. Strange occurrences, playful transformations, and unusual creatures will keep you and your party engaged and wondering what’s real; and what is the forest’s enchantment. At moments where the Feywild touches the material plane, magic becomes alive and emotions heightened, creating unexpected, delightful experiences. Danger is rare; discovery, creativity, and teamwork take center stage. What to expect: 🔷 Linear, episodic sessions. Great for those who are objective minded 🔷 Weekly test of morals and values each episode 🔷 In the moment world building to stretch you creativity 🔷 Epic battle finale where you recruit allies 🔷 The realism of the everyday fantasy world mixed with the whimsy of the magical Feywild The forest isn’t just a place to explore, it’s an invitation for you and your party to play differently, think differently, and see how your choices shape the story. 1200 BCE Molten Bronze

Roleplay focused Roleplay focused
LGBTQ+ friendly LGBTQ+ friendly
A street-level Mage chronicle in 1200 BCE Ugarit, where stolen sacred relics pull young mystics into a collapsing world. - schedule is still flexible - beginner-friendly - street level campaign - set in the ancient city of Ugarit on the Syrian coast - you will be members of different organizations in search of stolen mystical artifacts - roleplay-heavy - we will be using discord primarily  Detailed Version: Ugarit is dying, though no one will admit it yet. The harbors are still crowded, the temples still receive incense and bronze, and the scribes still press certainty into wet clay. But something has gone wrong beneath the order of things. Across the great cities and hidden sanctuaries of the Near East, sacred artifacts have vanished from priesthoods, mystery cults, temple archives, funerary houses, and esoteric societies. These are not mere trinkets, but objects of power, memory, oath, and divine favor. In response, a vast search has begun, stretching from the Levantine coast into Canaan, Anatolia, Cyprus, Mesopotamia, and beyond. You are not the masters leading it. You are the ones sent into the dust, the markets, the shrines, the caravan roads, and the back rooms to find what the powerful have lost. This is a street-level Mage: The Ascension 20th Anniversary Edition chronicle set in 1200 BCE, at the edge of the Late Bronze Age collapse. The game is about omens, theft, faith, politics, and the slow realization that these disappearances are part of something much larger. Each player belongs to a different organization with its own rites, beliefs, and secrets, and each has a personal stake in recovering what was taken. You begin as lower-ranking members, overlooked by your superiors and surrounded by people more important than you. That makes you useful. It also makes you expendable. The story starts in Ugarit, but it will follow rumors, clues, dreams, and obligations across a world held together by trade, ritual, and fragile alliances. The tone is mystical, tense, and human. This game is for players who enjoy investigation, social maneuvering, hidden agendas, old gods, symbolic magic, and characters who grow into significance rather than starting there. I like to run games where the world feels lived-in and reactive, where magick is strange and meaningful, and where small choices can reshape relationships, communities, and eventually history. Expect a mix of grounded local scenes and uncanny supernatural mystery: dockside negotiations, temple rivalries, stolen tablets, haunted roads, prophetic dreams, and the sense that the world-system itself is beginning to crack. You do not need to be an expert in Mage lore to enjoy this game. What matters most is that you want to play someone with convictions, loyalties, and questions they cannot easily answer. This is a campaign about different paths to power colliding under pressure, about what people do when the sacred is threatened, and about who you become when the search for a stolen relic turns into a descent into the hidden machinery of a collapsing age.

Seeking Players for All-PoC OSE Group

[Aurora/East Denver] Experience: Total beginners are absolutely welcome! I am happy to teach the rules. I am looking to start a brand-new, weekly or bi-weekly Old School Essentials (OSE) campaign and I need 3 players to help me build an all-PoC founding group from the ground up! What is OSE? It’s a "classic fantasy" system based on the original 1980s B/X rules. It’s fast-paced, high-stakes, and focused on exploration and clever problem-solving rather than just complex math. Who am I looking for? Demographic: Specifically looking for PoC players to create a dedicated safe-space tabletop environment. The Vibe: Creative, inclusive, and atmospheric dungeon crawling.  The Logistics: Location: Public meetups at shops like Crit Castle Games or All C's Gaming Arena in Aurora. Schedule: To be finalized by the group (aiming for weekend afternoons or weekday evenings). Safety: We will use a robust Safety & Consent policy (Lines/Veils and/or Monte Cook Consent Form) to ensure everyone has a great time.  Interested? Drop a comment below or send me a DM with a little bit about your TTRPG experience (or lack thereof—it's okay!) and what kind of characters you like to play.

Link to apply at bottom of description.  Time and Date: MST. 3 possible days/time ranges:  Monday Bi-Weekly @ 5pm-8m Friday Weekly @ 5pm-8pm Sunday Weekly @ 2:30pm-9pm Session length: 3-4 hours average DMing style: casual, relaxed roleplay & story focused, long campaign, ≈4 years of experience Starting level: 1 Required platforms: Discord Voice, Roll20, DnD Beyond Banned Races: • Human • Dwarf • Elf • Half-Elf • Gnome • Halfling • Goblin • Hobgoblin Content warning: As given in the module; **This book explores mature themes, including sexual content, suicide, light nudity, graphic violence, and crucifixions.** Player Homebrew: Allowed with DM approval Story: The grind of heavy wheels against the gritty trail grows more tiresome with each step as you slog on, weary and parched. The loud rush of the nearby salt river mocks you, its waters undrinkable. Suddenly, the soldiers around you clutch their spears, alert. A hauntingly beautiful melody fills the air—a hymn that evokes memories of a distant home, laced with the promise of death. Then, a large rock crashes down from the treeline, killing a soldier instantly. The melody twists into shrill screeches, andthe grind of heavy wheels is replaced by the clash of steel. Minotaurs and harpies swoop in, aiming to seize the barrels of water you were sworn to protect. This is life outside of Al’Kirat, where water is precious, no road is safe, and death lurks around every corner. The setting for Sands of Doom takes place in the Torn Lands, a land devastated by a catastrophic event two thousand years ago. This calamity obliterated its inhabitants, leaving behind a cursed, desolate Wasteland. Today, it is a tainted realm filled with savage creatures, vast deserts, and the remnants of ancient civilizations. Only exiles and beasts reside here, cast out from more 'civilized' territories. The adventure begins in Kirat, a region located on the westernmost edge of the Torn Lands. In this harsh region, beastfolk and tieflings struggle for survival and control over dwindling sources of water. Meanwhile, an endless stretch of cursed dunes slowly and meticulously advances from the east, where terrifying monsters and undead wander its tainted red sands. Notes: This module is survival-heavy, days, food, water, ammunition, and spell components will all need to be tracked. Planning and preparing for the travel will be crucial, and if you dont plan well enough there very well may be consequences that come. My name is Phrough (pronounced 'Frog'), and I'm starting up a new campaign that started with the level 1-11 module Sands of Doom, and after the module is complete, it will be a homebrew adventure to level 20. I've previously DMed several 1 and 2 shots, as well as a nearly weekly 4 year long campaign that came to a close recently, and now I want to do another, if you want to know anything about me feel free to dm me with your questions. I'm looking for either 4 or 5 players for a weekly game, as I already have one from the previous campaign of mine that wants to play in this one, with my only requirement being that you are at/over the age of 18. Game time is not set in stone yet, but we are looking at it being Sunday afternoon to evening, Monday evening bi-weekly, or Friday evening as those are the times my current player is best available. If this is a game that might interest you please fill out the form attached, and I'll get back to you if I have any questions or to let you know you're accepted. This post will be open for applications up to March 13th, allowing for anyone enough time to apply to play, once the 4 or 5 are selected then a session 0 will be planned. https://forms.gle/cf8o9J5K6qmBABP59

High Lords of Terra (5e/5.5e homebrew) (21+)

Roleplay focused Roleplay focused
Intro to Terra If you’re coming from Faerûn, think of Terra as a vast continent that used to feel like one big, functioning empire. A tradition of feudalism, with noble "High Lord" houses ruling over their regions. All offering allegiance to a central authority, the most powerful noble house, Arista, and crowned it's leader as the First Lord. So the Legend Goes At the dawn of this world, the Gods watched our people struggle to survive in an unforgiving world - Early settlements decimated by violent storms. Explorers slaughtered by ferocious beasts. To have a chance at survival, these benevolent Gods gifted the lands with powerful spirits. And for the inhabitants, an ability to bond with these spirits. As these lands were conquered, creatures brought over were quickly surpassed by Humans, who found they could tame and even command these spirits. For thousands of years, these settlers fought and struggled to secure as much power for themselves as possible. Anarchy, chaos, and endless bloodshed, with the most vulnerable most at risk. It was not until those wielding the most powerful elemental magic banded together that law and order was able to form. Rather than fighting each other, they spread across the lands in a uniform effort to end the violence. Forming what are now known to be the High Lords of Terra. These High Lords rallied behind the most powerful among them, First Lord of House Arista. For generations, there was peace among the world. Humans across Terra in harmony with one another and their spirit blessings, working together to build great cities, sprawling farmlands, relying on each other for protection. The Civil War starts... Nearly one hundred years ago, tragedy struck when the First Lord passed away, leaving behind two sons with competing claims to the throne. The older son, born of an illegitimate affair with the High Lady of House Kalara, vied for the throne against his younger brother, son to the First Lord's wife. The conflict immediately turned bloody amongst the High Lords. On one side stood the loyalists, supporting House Arista and the rightful heir to the throne as appointed by the King's betrothed. On the other stood the would be usurping traditionalists, who sought to uphold the laws of succession. They rallied behind House Kalara. Now, a century later, the realm remains divided, locked in a never-ending struggle for power and dominance. The loyalist houses of Teos, Retosia, and Pytion stand firm in their support of House Arista, while the traditionalist houses of Sultern, Rhodes, and Toria remain steadfast in their allegiance to House Kalara. As the conflict rages on, the fate of the realm hangs in the balance. One thing is certain - It cannot survive another century of civil war. A Forgotten Evil Stirs... While the realm is torn apart by war, a new shadow rises. Mysterious disappearances reported near the uninhabited forest. Legend of an undisturbed kingdom made of wax in it's center. Ghost stories of an ancient evil laying dormant... now waking up. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello! Looking to stretch myself and finally start a new table with a homebrew I've been putting together for a few years.Hello! Looking to stretch myself and finally start a new table with a homebrew I've been putting together for a few years. Looking for players that are in a similar timezone (PST). I'm also a parent, so would be looking for evening sessions after kiddos are asleep (after 7-8pm). The world's lore is loosely inspired by Jim Butcher's Codex Alera series, mashed together with Faerun. Familiarity with source material is not required or expected at all. Lore will be provided on this world, and the unique elemental powers ALL characters will have access to... With this world, there will be some restrictions on the Player Characters. All playable characters at this time will be Humans. Most classes are workable, though the system really lends itself to Martials/Half-Casters. I would highly recommend using one of those. I'm not a major Rules Lawyer, big believer in Rule-of-Cool and being adaptable. Improvising and leaning into the roleplay is where the magic happens. There will challenging, purposeful combat but not a meat-grinder style of a campaign. Getting the right dynamic is very important to me, so will definitely be intentional. Would also love some diversity (both in character and out of character) at the table. If this sounds interesting, please reach back out! Would be happy to discuss further and share more info on the lore to make sure it's a good fit. Regardless, best of luck to you on finding the right table. :) Cheers, Windy

D&D "The Sea of Fallen Stars" (1 lvl)

Paid game Paid game
The Sea of Fallen Stars appears calm and warm by day, but its depths are littered with shipwrecks - by no coincidence. Captains and their crews whisper about Nightgales, a disaster born out of thin air that drags ships down in mere hours and disappears without a trace. Those are, of course, most likely just tales; there are monsters, slavers, and pirate fleets enough to explain lost crews. You are aboard the Cinnamon as protection against such dangers, when a thunderous "CRACK" jolts you from your night's rest. The air in the hold is suddenly cold and damp, but there is a scream from above: "Company to the starboard!". Time to take arms and earn your keep. And maybe throw in the prayer that water beneath your feet will stop rising. System: DnD 5e; Setting: Faerûn / Forgotten Realms; Character Level: 1. Payment: 25$ per person. About the Dungeon master: I'm Julia, a Ukrainian TTRPG GM since 2018, GMing online since 2022. Most campaigns have been played in D&D 5e, and several in Vampire: The Masquerade, Changeling: The Lost, and Blades in the Dark. I prefer character-driven narratives with grittier political subplots, but still with a good amount of combat and shenanigans™ Contact me to register. (This sunday 26.04.2026 at 1 p.m.)

Hello fellow and mighty adventurers! Let me tell you my story I am a 26M native from France, and an amateur GM (1 year of experience), and I started not so long ago my own party of TTRPG in english since I got lot more time to consacre to it. Initially I was a writer and scenarist, but I recently got into TTRPG, being a fan of fantasy, worldbuilding and fantastic universes (LOTR, CoC, W40) are my favorite universes). I am also a historian teacher, and so I like to put historic reference into my universe. Anyway, I then created a discord servers in order to plan a professionnal project into TTRPG. I already have 3 players, hence why I am looking for more players for a better game experience. We are accepting any level of experience, from beginneer to veteran, as we also have a plurality of experience among the present players from beginneer to veteran. The sessions would be taking sunday, 8pm to 11pm, every week. It will be supported on Roll20. The played universe would be a homebrew made by my own hands, reusing D&D basic mechanics. If you are eager to join the group, please, share via my DM the following infos : -Age -Gender -Location -Discord tag Thank you for your consideration, The Guild of the lunar Rat.

Try out some Indie TTRPGs with me! OSR and More!

Hi all,  First off, this would be entirely free.  I’ve run various systems over the years and I have a growing collection of Indie TTRPGs (and adventures) I’m interested in running, like Mothership, Mausritter, Pirate Borg, Old-school Essentials, and more. I'm looking for a consistent group to give them a shot and maybe start a campaign. I’m a father, so my time is limited to every other weekend.

Echoes-Beyond-Realms

Homebrew Homebrew
Roleplay focused Roleplay focused
Brief Description of setting: General vibe has fun daftness of a mostly at sea adventure set in a high fantasy homebrew world with some modest Lovecraftian cosmic horror aspects on serious story details while also taking some mild inspiration from Ebberon, and various comic/anime nods. Setting is based in a world with odd occurrences of rifts to various planes, usually dangerous but somewhat controlled in parts. It is a more exotic race/species friendly world, so not human or preferably not human-esk or commonly used fitting in types. In its origin and in the present some of the average in power common races would be Dragonborn, Drow, Varied Genasi, Tiefling of many coloration and minor mix, Goblinoids, Kobold, and various more animal related folk. I do play in some personalised design flavour with such eg: an aarakocra may be designed to be like a bluejay, robin or cardinal. Other bigger world history topics enlightening more to the lack of human populace, cosmic phenomenon and certain hostilities/indifferences between other types of species can be discussed. I try to make good use of character backgrounds and their species connections to world to fuel story, adding and altering as things evolve. On going Party: Water Genasi Warlock- making up for Deep sea cultist history. Kalashtar (Differently designed in origin via other species mix) Blood hunter - dealing with corrupted memory and past related to kidnapping. Fairy Bard - consciousness escaped from a variant of the deck of many Void card and found her body remains minimal in a clockwork toy. Story in motion: The group of female adventurers began on the docks of a central city of my own homebrew world with former players who each had life causes need for taking leave though still their characters are regarded as npc in story. The group has since made their way on seas with strange encounters and new understandings of phenomena linking them. When venturing on the ocean floor after backstory relevant face offs and timeline altering's the group gradually bonded further before having to take on a mission off world in aid of a friend's plight. When the game is:  Fortnightly Sunday eves 5 till 10, start and end is likely a bit in ways of player chatter and ease on to timing of game if we get straight in may end early at time, but either way we usually have mini break. Time/Country: Due to prior difficulty I'd prefer players to be located for 5pm-10pm GMT. Rule/Play Style: High magic with mild steampunk pirate stuff but mainly Fantasy Horror vibes, RP and combat 60/40. Chunks of story can be capable of leaning the odd bit to one more than other. Hombrewy/RuleOfCool-we have homebrew rules with things like exhaustion and crits damage and attunement slots, nothing unlikely to be all too unheard of but primarily we aim for character story lead rulings for well formed character design and in play character related ideas. Resources/VTT needed: voice and vid -Discord, dnd beyond, roll20. New PC starting Level: 7 (up via milestones)with a feat from start and with 4th lvl as well as ability mod- https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/432602/echoes-beyond-realms *--See roll20 link above for other about me/group details and applications. -- *2014/2024 rule use is covered mildly on link but ultimately as the majority of rules are 2014 into Tashas and vast personalised house rulings we have, I can at best say there is mild openness to newer rules being i see it as modest differences from what we already have in place.

New Player LF GM & Players Faewild/Fantasy

< Non Paid > [7-8 CST] [Weekdays, preferably Fridays] I’m looking for a GM who is somewhat experienced (good storyteller)  to lead some new players or new and old on an adventure in the faewild or other fantasy realms! Kind of just like a fantasy focused game. (Elves are welcome!) I would need help rolling to create my character sheet and class (I have a model I made for what she looks like and weapons already). This would be my first actual play game. Old and new players alike are welcome! Hoping for people that tend to make it less awkward for newbies and can bring some fun and energy to the campaign but can also be laid back and patient as well. I can be pretty goofy and energetic (which my character is based around) so wanting people that make others feel comfortable enough to be themselves with their characters. But I can also be a laid back listener when needed.

As it says on the tin, just looking to play some d&d, please feel free to shoot me a message, I'm willing to dm but prefer being a player, just looking for a group to have some classic d&d shenanigans. If we can't find a dm, i'd likely homebrew a sandbox world, very fast and loose, kinda game where warforged and guns can exist if you walk far enough and you could probably run into cavemen walking far enough the other if you so please. We'd probably stick to somewhere in the middle for the start and see where we go from there

'80s style Occult-Horror-Coming of Age

Homebrew Homebrew
Roleplay focused Roleplay focused
Hello Everyone, I am looking for 2 players to join a new long-form campaign: Venice, 1983 — occult, terror, and coming-of-age. A bit about the campaign Your characters are 16 years old living in Venice. It is the 1980s: Walkmans, cigarettes smoked behind the school, parents who don't listen, a city that is beautiful and damp and too old to be entirely safe. Something is wrong in Venice, and the adults around you can't see it. Expect a slow-burn, atmospheric horror campaign: heavy on investigation, relationships, and mood. Low on combat (!) when violence happens, it matters and it hurts. Think Stranger Things mixed with Breakfast Club and Call of Cthulhu. Why 16 years old Sixteen is a threshold. Not a child, not an adult. Old enough to act, too young to be listened to. Everything is louder at sixteen: the first loves, the first betrayals, the first time you realise the people raising you are making it up as they go. Something is being lost, and you can feel it going. That's the whole point. At sixteen your characters will be allowed to be wrong, to make bad calls, to trust the wrong person, to miss what's obvious. That's the material we build from. Their friends will be the centre of the universe; the party isn't a team, but a found family under pressure. And there will be moments when they genuinely feel they can change the world, because at sixteen you do, and sometimes you're even right. Think Stand By Me, It, The Virgin Suicides: kids who walk into something too big for them, who love each other fiercely, and who come out the other side carrying something they can't put down. To play this well you need to be okay being vulnerable, dropping the adult armour, letting your character be clumsy, scared, sincere, melodramatic. If that sounds uncomfortable, this isn't the table for you. If it sounds like the kind of story you've been wanting to tell, we should probably talk. A bit about the format - When: Tuesday evenings, 20:00 OR 21:00 CEST, ~3 hours per session - Where: Discord, with video (fully online) - Duration: long-form, expect 50 sessions - Party: me + 3 players - Ages: 18+ (characters are teens, themes are adult) A bit about the rules Custom homebrew ruleset. Minimal, easy to learn, built around roleplay rather than character sheets. You don't need to know it! I handle mechanics, you handle your character. Deal. This is NOT 5e, I see rules to help with some conflict resolution, I am here for the roleplay and for character growth! A bit about me My name is Carlo. I've been running tabletop games for more than 30 years (sic). I'm a plotter. I like campaigns that are real stories, where each session has a place in a bigger arc but I don't railroad. The players decide what the characters do; I make sure the world reacts. I'm also high-functioning autistic. In practice that means I care intensely about the world and its people, I'm direct when something at the table isn't working, and I'd rather you be direct with me too. Say what you mean, I'll do the same. It's part of why I run the kind of games I run. A bit about you I'm looking for players who: - love story and character-driven roleplay - are comfortable sitting with horror, ambiguity, and slow burns - are okay playing teenagers: awkwardness, bad decisions, first loves, fear of adults - are not here for power-gaming or rule-lawyering The table is LGBT+ safe and welcoming regardless of gender, orientation, background, or experience level. New players are fine. What matters is that you want to tell a story with us. How to join Before anyone commits, I'll run a one-shot session in the setting so we can all see if we click. No pressure either way. If you rached this part, then I will ask you to hop on the form linked below and see if we are compatible! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfhvh6F5MRVYpG6G5-vto0QsLny2of_kVtFDiAMCTDcgY2awA/viewform
