$25 per session  https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmqzml1vr0065l304hx4nh6xy Welcome to the Sword Coast a region renowned for adventure, where daring souls delve into ancient ruins in search of knowledge and loot. Where wonderous creatures roam free. Amid a wilderness of jagged, snow capped mountains and alpine forests, lawlessness and monsters, the cost holds the greatest bastions civilization, including the coastal city of Neverwinter where our party is first assembled You have known Gundren Rockseeker for a long time and and when you receive a letter asking for your help you drop everything to help your old friend. It's not long before goblin ambushes, ruthless bandits and a whisper of a long forgotten mine pull you into a mystery far larger than you expected. This isn't a story that will wait for you. While you decide what to do next, there are other pieces on the board moving to progress their own agenda and your actions can help shape that. The people you help will remember, the people you hurt will seek justice. Ignore a problem today, and you may discover it's consequences later on. This is a game designed to welcome new players to DnD and experienced players will enjoy a world that responds to their choices rather than following a fixed script. We begin by playing through the Lost Mine of Phandelver Module before venturing into The Shattered Obelisk Module.

I'm a game designer, and I'm looking for a group of great players to help me playtest the crap out of it. Anyone willing to playtest will get a free digital copy of Prosperon on the house. I was thinking of running sessions every other week on Saturdays, since I already run a podcast campaign weekly. If you're interested, sign up and let’s have a blast. To give you an idea of the gameplay style, it’s about 65% roleplay and 35% combat, though that really depends on the group’s dynamics. If you all want more combat, I can absolutely make that happen. The game is a cyberpunk/biopunk mix set in a dystopian society on a distant planet far from Earth. Humanity colonized a world called Khaelmora, later renamed Prosperon by the human settlers. If you're interested, let’s get those dice rolling and have a good time.

Join Pexwyn - A High Elf Diviner Wizard who comes from a wealthy family, but their vices take them to the dregs of society. Along with Fern - A Fairy Bloodhunter who suffered a terrible trauma due to some mysterious undead force that she has trained everyday since to find and slay You and your fellow party members were trained by the famous hero Sir Quinton Veilar. A Harengon that travelled with the legendary group known as Emberwatch. Quinton has been retired for years and has called you and his other former apprentices to attend a birthday dinner at his home in Iriesall. After he and his companions have saved the City of Iriesall many times over, it seems that the people are determined to destroy it themselves. Between the war with the underdark, a terrorist insurgency in the undercity, and the oppressive reign of Queen Beirona and the Orders of Sybril, there is little peace to be had. But there was peace in drink, and sharing stories with friends at the tavern. Through his adventures, Quinton has made enemies, acquired dangerous magical artifacts, and kept many secrets... all of which are about to unravel. Join the adventure, as a former pupil of this retired hero as he trusts you to protect all he holds dear. Travel to stunning locals, meet legends of old, and maybe.. just maybe.. save the world along the way. Game language is English but also Hindi/Punjabi/Urdu. Sau Sakhi is a collection of stories and literature from various sources where the reoccuring theme is Sikhism. This campaign will be an excellent platform for those interested in getting wiser and learning about the tenets and events in the West-Indian region. Games will be run weekly until my professional games get more players, at which point I will pause this campaign. Schedule is flexible but we will run sessions on Fridays (1800-2200) CEST/UTC+2, Foundry VTT combat maps, Discord voice. Fill in the Google form beneath to be paired into the group. I may contact players for interviews on Discord. Timezone highly prioritized. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSevGhP4AftRO8AT5YStclI79Lcq-umY1lMarV86CpLwB3vSmQ/viewform?usp=dialog

Ancient Age: The Hunt for a Match

Roleplay focused Roleplay focused
Newbie friendly Newbie friendly
Hello there! I see you have taken an interest in my little post here. Which means something about my title has drawn your attention or you wish to see what this crazy man has to say. Whatever the case, welcome! I am currently looking for players to be a part of a grand adventure set in a fictitious version of Iron Age earth. Where gods and magic are as real as the earth and sky. The best way to describe the setting has to be a mix between EPIC: the Musical and Titan Quest. If this doesn’t drive you away, then you might be the player I am looking for. Before we go any further, a bit of background to help you out. Who am I?: Call me 007 for now. I am a forever GM who has been running games for the better part of 10 years. I have run everything from D&D to Fate, Open Legend, Star Wars, etc. You can say I am a rather experienced GM. The best way to describe my style is story-focused with a collaborative element. I tend to work with players to make the game threatening as well as epic for those involved. If this sounds good to you, we should then get into the brass tacks. What is the System?: This will be a Fantasy Age game from the good people at Green Ronin, though a rather homebrewed version due to my habit of experimentation. I cannot promise a vanilla Fantasy Age experience. Mechanical alterations may occur in certain circumstances as the need arises.  When is this Game?: This game is taking place on Saturdays at 9pm CST. As this is what works for the people already in the game. These times are non-negotiable. What’s the General Setting?: We are playing on a version of Earth during the Iron Age. Long past the time of ancient Greek tales and the old empires from the Bronze Age. The exact year is 550 BC. For those with historical backgrounds or who know their history, yes, we are taking place during the rise of Persia. Meaning the entirety of the Ancient world is available to be explored at your leisure. There are entire lore documents explaining everything that happened, as magic is a part of the world, in contrast to reality. Speaking of Persia. What’s the Story?: Persia is a major part of the story, though our crew is more tied to a specific island nation. Not Cyprus but a close guess. The isle of Crete, as one King sees the writing on the wall. Sending your band of misfits on a journey to other kingdoms. Using your political and social skills to find the perfect match for the king’s daughter. Creating a binding bond that might see them through the storm that will soon plague their nation. In a sense, you guys are royal matchmakers.  With final say over who gets to be wed to the princess, you've been given the unilateral power to determine if Crete somehow survives the coming incursion, or gets swept away (as they were historically). What kind of game are we dealing with?: Mostly of a sandbox nature, with a higher focus on exploration, political intrigue, court politics, and character motivations. As I expect you all to at least travel to half the world before making a particular choice. This game, in terms of percentages, will be 50% roleplay, 10% downtime, and 40% combat. As a result of this spread, I am looking for players who jive with heavy roleplay and are willing to take chances with their characters. This will require your focus and dedication. Those looking for a more passive or casual experience should try to find another game. How long will we be here?: About 2 years.  I hope that gives you enough information to give a general idea of what you are getting into. I have more to say, but we can save that for a one-on-one. For now, I will leave you with some final words. As stated in the title, this will be an 18+ game. We are going through a very violent time with concepts that might be uncomfortable to some people. Sex, Drugs, and other unsavory topics will be discussed through the game. I am looking for players willing to handle such topics respectfully and the gravity they deserve. If at this point nothing has scared you away, I welcome you to find the next part of my post. How do I join your game?: I have made a Google Form. If you want to join, all you have to do is respond to the form. After that, I will get in touch and discuss your potential involvement in my game. For those who wish to join as a couple, family, or other related ties. Have each of you make a response and mention at the bottom who you are in a joint application with. If you do jointly apply, I reserve the right to deny both of you if one does not meet my standard. With that, we come to the end of the post. If you have any questions, feel free to DM me privately. Until then, this is 007 signing off. The form can be found here: App Form

Dark Fantasy Campaign: Looking for Iorveth (The Witcher 2) The Pitch: This is a heavy-roleplay, narrative-focused campaign featuring a curated cast of iconic dark fantasy characters from the Dragon Age and The Witcher universes. We are seeking a highly reliable, vocal, and passionate roleplayer to step into the boots of Iorveth from The Witcher 2. Schedule: Weekly on Saturdays, 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM CET. Strict attendance required. Because this is a long-term campaign, reliability is our absolute highest priority. Voice: Jitsi (Working microphone and quiet environment required). Platform: Owlbear Rodeo (only free account required, very easy to learn). Starting Level: 3 (no multiclassing) Player requirements: Age 21+, LGBTQIA+ friendly & willing to roleplay gay romance. The story so far: Torn away from your own world by an unnatural, suffocating fog, you have been cast into a Dread Domain within the Shadowfell—a grim realm where something malevolent steals the souls of the dead. Your arrival was catastrophic. A storm sank your vessel. Only you survived, pulled from the dark waters by Captain Rhodry and the crew of a privateer vessel aligned with the Domain's missing Dread Lord. On board, joining forces with a crew of similarly stranded survivors, including a Grey Warden named Carver Hawke and a lyrium-scarred elf named Fenris, you find yourself bound for Tartur Bay. To break the curse draining your own life force, you must unravel the mystery of the stolen souls, and survive a realm where death is only the beginning of your problems. Tone & Party Dynamics The tone of this campaign is dark, gritty, and deeply psychological. We want proactive, vocal roleplayers who are enthusiastic about driving the plot forward and exploring emotional vulnerability. Romance This is a game focusing on gay characters. An enthusiasm for exploring slow-burn romance, deep emotional bonds, and intense romantic tension is a core requirement of this campaign. No NSFW content is roleplayed at the table, but you must be comfortable roleplaying romantic gestures like kissing or embracing. A major pillar of the story revolves around the party's complex, shifting relationship with the Domain’s Dread Lord. If you prefer to deflect romance with jokes or are uncomfortable with intimacy, this is not the table for you. What We Are Looking For in Our Iorveth Iorveth must be played true to his lore: a jaded, sharp-tongued elven rebel leader hardened by centuries of guerrilla warfare. He is fiercely proud, bold, dangerous, and steadfast in his loyalties. Beneath his ruthless, cynical exterior lies a capacity for absolute, unyielding devotion to the right person. He handles intimacy with an intense, guarded gravity—he is a man who loves fiercely but carries the deep, silent trauma of past betrayal. How to apply: If you are interested, please send me a direct message with the following information: 1] Your Age: (Must be 21+) 2] Your Class Choice for Iorveth: (Any martial class apart from Monk. If you'd like him to fling spells besides showcasing his mastery with a bow and saber, Warlock is a great choice. Subclasses from PHB, Xanathar's, Tasha's, or Van Richten's are allowed. No multiclassing). 3] His Dream & Greatest Fear: What drives him, and what keeps him up at night? 4] The Shadowfell Connection: Are you open to Iorveth having a deep, narrative bond with an otherworldly Patron? (This is a unique setting mechanic open to any class, tied to a powerful, morally neutral entity from the Shadowfell who is invested in the mystery of the stolen souls). 5] The Saturday Scenario: It is Saturday morning. An old friend unexpectedly calls and invites you to a party that overlaps with game time. How do you handle this? I am a DM tailoring a highly specific, high-effort narrative. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a brief voice interview on Jitsi to ensure our playstyles mesh.

[5E 2014] looking for players Long-Term D&D 5e Campaign | Level 16 | Homebrew | 18+ Looking for 2 players for an ongoing long-term homebrew campaign. About 8 sessions in, party's Level 14. We play Fridays at 5 PM EST, 5-6 hour sessions, 18+. Mix is roughly 70% roleplay/exploration, 30% combat. The worldSet entirely inside the Hell Dimension — not a few layers, but an entire universe built around a Hell-sized planet. Divided into massive regions ("Rings") ruled by Warlords, kingdoms, ancient beings, and the Seven Deadly Sins. Most of what you'll actually experience revolves around the Warlords and the civilizations under them. Places you visit change over time — wars continue, alliances shift, even when you're not there. *Tone:Takes the world seriously but the table isn't grim all the time — emotional moments and real consequences, but also plenty of jokes and chaos. Good/Neutral characters fit best. Characters:Build your own world before your character lands in Hell — any genre (medieval, cyberpunk, post-apoc, whatever) — or plug into existing lore I've got built out (gods, kingdoms, Warlords, history). Most characters arrive by dying or making a deal with a Sin, but other concepts (Hellborn, tied to a Warlord, etc.) are welcome too. *Combat: Standard 5e (2014) rules for players — homebrew is mostly on my end (bosses, unique creatures, world mechanics). Fights are heavily homebrewed with custom abilities and phases. Not every fightneeds to be a fight — negotiating, alliances, or running are often the smarter play. NPCsBuilt to feel like real people, not quest dispensers — they remember how you treat them, and relationships (friendships, rivalries, even romance if it fits) develop based on your choices. Inspiration: Pulls from anime, mythology, and games, but rebuilt into its own original setting — not a crossover. Looking for: Players with 1 year+ D&D experience who like roleplay, worldbuilding, and long-term investment. Reliability and good communication matter more than rules knowledge. Interested? DM me your timezone, experience, playstyle, and a character idea (even a rough one — happy to help develop it). I do use images for the npc generally they are just an anime character so I don't even use them I just sent a GIF but i use it for the map

Dungeon Masters Wanted for a Beginner-Friendly D&D Community Hello! We are a beginner-friendly D&D Discord community with over 70 members, originally created to help new players get into D&D without having to pay for anything. The server has grown, but right now our DM-to-player ratio is unbalanced, so we are looking for more people interested in running games. You do not need years of experience to join us as a DM. New Dungeon Masters are welcome, and we can help with planning sessions, Foundry VTT, rules, encounter balancing, maps, character creation, and organising players. We currently support two main types of games: 1. Adventurers’ Guild one-shots Our main shared setting uses an open-table, West Marches-inspired system. The Adventurers’ Guild posts bounties, missions, and one-shot adventures that players can join whenever they are available. DMs can create their own missions within the shared New Lands universe and use existing locations, NPCs, factions, lore, shops, and server systems. Most games use D&D 5e 2024 rules, although 2014 content and reasonable homebrew may also be allowed depending on the DM. This format is ideal for anyone who wants to run occasional sessions without committing to a weekly campaign. 2. Independent homebrew campaigns DMs are also welcome to create their own campaign. You may gather a group of around 4–6 players and receive a dedicated category or channel for your game. Your campaign may take place within our shared universe or use a completely separate setting, story, and ruleset. You remain in control of your campaign’s tone, schedule, rules, allowed content, and playstyle. Our community values patience, creativity, communication, and helping newer players understand the game. You do not need perfect rule knowledge, expensive software, professional maps, or voice-acting experience. You only need an idea and the willingness to run it. Anyone interested can receive the DM role, post session announcements, recruit players, and request a dedicated campaign space. For an invite or more information, message me on Discord: pancone

Im interested in finding 4-5 players, who would be interested in playing Aquelarre, which is a medieval demonic fantasy role-playing game.  Aquelarre is set in the Iberian Peninsula during the 13th and 14th centuries of the Middle Ages. Players take on the roles of normal humans who walk a fine line between living ordinary and legal lives of drudgery, or using forbidden magic to lift themselves out of squalor. For more information check out the wiki: information about the game I'm new to this game myself and as of yet there is no campaign. But for playtime I'm planning on creating a mini-campaign or just run 2-4 sessions of loosely tied adventures. Ideally sessions would take place on one fixed day during the workweek starting from 18:00 CET. The first session would be character creation as the game offers very unique backgrounds & professions and then also a mini-adventure to familiarise ourselves with the basic rules. If you are interested write to me here or on discord (mekaso).

The Campaign: A Customized Faerûn Experience Now that the introductions are out of the way, let me present you with my completely customized Faerûn experience! In this game, you will have the chance to be part of a story that revolves fully around your character's lore. I take the well-known world of Abeir-Toril and Faerûn—including iconic locations like Baldur's Gate, Waterdeep, Candlekeep, and Neverwinter—and build a brand-new campaign setting after discussing interests with my players. We could go on an adventure all the way to the Thay Mountains to battle the Red Wizards, venture into the dangerous jungles of Chult to uncover the mysteries of a forgotten land, or stick to the crowded, familiar cities of the Sword Coast where adventures are always abound. What You Need to Jump In The only things you need to do are add me on Discord, have a working microphone, and set up a Roll20 account (which I am happy to help you with). I will explain everything else! I will make sure everyone at the table knows how to play, and I will walk you through character creation step-by-step. You need literally zero experience to join. With that said, experienced players are also fully welcome! The cost of the game will be ranging from: $15 - $20 depending on the days we choose and the number of players.  What are you waiting for? Hello and welcome to your first adventure in the world of Dungeons & Dragons! If you want to join a fresh adventure but are not sure where to start, this is the perfect place for you. I am Glacial (gringo), an experienced Dungeon Master with over 12 years of experience running various TTRPGs such as Cyberpunk RED, D&D 5e, D&D 2024 (5.5e), and Daggerheart. Even though I have GMed for many different groups all over the world, my favorite remains Dungeons & Dragons—especially for beginners. I just can't get enough of seeing people discover this game (the best game ever made) for the very first time! I currently host a Discord server with over 40 players, most of whom are currently playing or have played in my games. You are more than welcome to hop in and ask them about the campaigns we've run! We have a great global community with players from the US, UK, Poland, Hungary, Finland, Romania, Germany, and beyond. Building a group for a Role-play Campaign

Roleplay focused Roleplay focused

Howzits, I’m looking for anyone who wants to partake in a character-focused campaign. There are currently three players, and we still DM. For the setting of the campaign, mainly we're looking for a more vibrant setting that should allow any sort of character to partake; for example, my character, a half-elf wizard, is an amateur archaeologist who wants to open his own museum someday. Another prerequisite for the campaign, ideally, is to avoid common tropes I see, such as stopping an undead army or a god has turned evil and must fall. Though it is fun to play as god killers, sometimes it’s also nice to play as a simple band of adventurers that doesn’t over the local government As for scheduling, the current timetable is that Wednesdays are open, and ideally I would like games to start at 11 am EST (Eastern Standard Time) as the other player I’m with is Six hours ahead of me. If all that sounds good and you think you’ll make a good addition to the group, contact me through my discord so that we can have a better chat. My Discord username is HyperHotrod058

Something happened to you—something you still can’t fully explain. A moment of fear, loss, or shock tore a hole in the world just wide enough for you to glimpse what most people never see. Since then, the shadows feel heavier. The silence in the woods lasts a little too long. And the stories you once dismissed as superstition no longer feel like stories at all. You are entering the Mythic North, a nineteenth-century Scandinavia where the old ways linger in the spaces modern life has yet to reach. People whisper about strange lights across the fields, figures watching from treelines, and traditions that must never be broken. You know now that these warnings were not meant for children—they were meant for you. You carry the Sight, the ability to see vaesen of myth and lore. With it comes responsibility to investigate mysteries that involve unexplained situations. When something disturbs the balance, you will be the one asked to face it. The unseen is waiting. What to expect: 🔹 A mix of premade mysteries and custom mysteries based on character backstories 🔹 A customizable home base that you can level up and gain benefits from 🔹 19th century inspired feel of alternative world Scandinavia 🔹 Story driven plot with character development implemented Never played Vaesen? ELEVATOR PITCH: Supernatural and Cryptids themed Cyberpunk Red SCHEDULE: Wednesdays from 7:00pm-9:30pm cst LENGTH of GAME: Weekly / 2-3 hours PLATFORM: Discord and Fantasy Grounds VTT GAME DESCRIPTION: Something strange is afoot in Night City circa 2056. The fourth corporate war has ended and the rebuilding of the former combat zones is in mid swing. Gangs still control great amounts of territory but NCPD and the current government is taking steps to intervene and take their city back. Johnny Silverhand and Samurai are considered classics verging on "Dad Rock" and a young V is still learning their times-tables. Night City is far from calm however. the radiation zones have been cleaned, but the bombs may have caused something beneath to stir. The corporate war allowed some keen eyed and interested parties to maneuver themselves in to new positions of power. The reconstruction efforts have pushed territory lines not just for the gangs but the hunting grounds of things normally unseen. The poser gang modeling themselves as werewolves might not be posing. The rumors about that alligator in the sewer are only half right, its actually a whole trade city. And if some people are reporting seeing doorways to unspeakable worlds down alleyways maybe thats why Kiroshi is pushing their update to the latest optics firmware so harshly. But Night City is Night City and work still needs to get done. Fixers still have jobs, even if they have a few unexpected quirks. Besides those teeth arent actually real, they're just cyberware... right? ...Right? ADDITIONAL INFO: We are a relatively un-serious group (Previous characters consisting of a underground musician dressed in shaman robes, a doctor more prone to drinking the antiseptic alcohol than using it on his patients and an engineer convinced he's a wizard and his inventions are magic) with a great deal of combined RPG experience behind us, however we are all relatively new to the Cyberpunk Red system and Fantasy Grounds VTT itself so we're taking it casual and happily making mistakes together as we feel out the rules and we are happy to bring on more to get to know this system with us! We alternate between Theatre of Mind and VTT being used for larger set pieces We are hoping to add one or two more players to the early stages of our brand new campaign. Players should be Adults, mid-20s or older and open to collaborative gaming and the 'spotlight' moving from person to person depending on the session and jobs that differ in style.

Lumeris

Lumeris is a homebrew D&D world shaped by a mana revolution rather than an industrial one. Magic is woven into everyday life through aether crystals, which can enhance weapons, clothing, tools, buildings, and even the body itself. Traditional D&D races, classes, monsters, and adventuring exist alongside advanced magical cities and Crystal-powered technology, creating a modern manapunk setting where ancient fantasy and magical innovation have grown together. It is a world of exploration, character-driven stories, dangerous mysteries, and powerful discoveries waiting just beyond the familiar. Flexible schedule, available most weekdays and weekends! Schedule will depend on who all is interested! Located EST (Georgia, USA) This campaign is meant for all lovers of TTRPGs. Lumeris is an almost entirely homebrew world, from the planet itself, the continents that are there, countries, villages, cities, settlements, ruins, and even some additional systems on top of standard D&D mechanics. I want anyone and everyone to feel comfortable to come play. This is a world meant to just experience adventure, to just have fun, to solve mysteries, to win battles, to overcome, and to discover. Please do not be intimidated by anything, what I want more than anything else is just to find nerds and D&D lovers alike who just wish to participate in my world.

Beyond the Storm – 5e age 13-16

Beyond the Storm is a long-term D&D 5e campaign inspired by the sense of adventure in One Piece, but set in a completely original world. Explore unique islands, uncover ancient mysteries, battle powerful enemies, upgrade your ship, and shape the future of the world through your choices. No knowledge of One Piece is required. This will be my first time DMing, so there may be a few mistakes as I learn, but I'm putting a lot of effort into making it a fun adventure. One player is completely new to D&D, and another has only played the short adventure Stormwreck Isle, so new and experienced players are both welcome. I'm looking for patient people who want to have fun and tell a great story together (D&D beyond btw) p.s We aren't using standard D&D classes. We use a custom, easy-to-learn system for fast-paced action.

The galaxy is changing… and not for the better. The Yuuzhan Vong have arrived from beyond the known galaxy, bringing living ships, terrifying biotechnology, and a hatred of machines that has already left entire worlds in ruin. The New Republic is struggling to respond, the Jedi are stretched thin, and the hyperspace lanes are filled with refugees, rumors, and fear. In the middle of this chaos, you are part of a small crew trying to survive and make a difference. Maybe you’re Jedi trying to understand this strange new enemy. Maybe you’re soldiers fighting a desperate delaying action. Smugglers, scouts, diplomats, and survivors all have a place in a galaxy where the rules of war are rapidly changing. This campaign will focus heavily on roleplay, character choices, and the personal stories that unfold during a massive galactic war. Expect tense negotiations, dangerous missions behind enemy lines, moral dilemmas, and moments where your characters must decide what they’re willing to sacrifice to protect the galaxy. The Yuuzhan Vong are coming. Who will your character be when the galaxy needs heroes… or survivors? Looking for GM and Players.  Saturdays 10:00 AM GMT Does this day and time work for you, and can you reliably make the sessions? How old are you and how much RPG experience do you have? Do both you and your character work well in a team? Are you familiar with Saga Edition and do you have a copy of it? What is your character concept?

A corporate black project gone wrong? Or something far stranger lurking in unexplored space? Shot in the dark, been looking for a more action focused AP to be part of. Since I never got any messages from player posting, I am trying to make the group and see if people join together for it. Heard hellbreaker and hell destiny were fun adventures, though others like a conversion of WotR, Kingmaker or other ones could work too. Regarding time, TBD but likely evening in week days (7:30pm or so) or maybe during the day on saturdays. Could band together to pay the foundry modules (if one is needed) to the GM. AI use forbidden at the table.

PF1e tends to be combat focused, lots of teamwork, but there's puzzles, riddles, investigation too. I don't charge money, game time is Fridays at 6pm central. I have been GMing weekly since 1997 or so, cut my gaming teeth on AD&D first ed. I go above and beyond for my players. This campaign is Discord video chat, but we could change time/day if the other players are willing and able. Don't worry about the mechanics, they are a lot easier than most believe, I am a good teacher (or so I have been told repeatedly over decades). I do not use a VTT. Tried. So I draw it out on a wet erase board, and if there's few enemies, I don't bother and keep it in my head (I have the IQ to be able to do so, and then some). NO FURRIES! If you go into this expecting to create your character without regard to the setting or the group composition, you can kiss your entitled butt goodbye. Thought I should mention, no other GM I ever heard of even online has thought to link a campaign to time very consistently. Me, I break it down to years and months, and give the campaign a definite ending and thus a conclusion to the storyline (Vampire the Masquerade). I am THAT relentlessly thorough! Same goes for Pathfinder. Lots of stupid puns and jokes. My campaigns tend to be accidentally lethal, and my NPC's tend to react within the bounds of their Intelligence scores. I poke players into beefing up their defenses in the low levels (in between game sessions), I value intelligence and wisdom in a player. I have no problem with potent PC's, so long as they play well with others and make sense. I tend to be very helpful in between game sessions, giving as much relevant info as possible without spoiling the plot, with less info for veteran players. Quite military friendly, as my NPCs tend to react realistically and tactically. I am extremely good at teaching, not just game mechanics but also tactics, even interaction with fellow players. During game sessions, I play all my NPC's to the hilt, so if they are actively trying to kill your PC, that's how it is. I rarely fudge dice results, when I do it's for drama's sake, trying to make the game exciting and interesting. With Iron Gods you gotta make the characters WITH MY DIRECT ASSISTANCE as I make sure they fit with the group and campaigns, plus I give out extra benefits (like gear). We currently have a single male skinwalker crocodile melee Fighter, a female tiefling Wizard, a female aasimar Cleric, a female storm changeling Gunslinger, a female unchained sylph Rogue. Don't do anything that imposes mental conditions in Iron Gods, lots of robots, undead. I have a giant list of races available, some of which are androgynous, others exclusively male, others exclusively female, all of which are official save for 2 (Sylvan elves and Trollans). I instituted sexual dimorphism attribute modifiers to get players running more female characters, right now for example in Iron Gods we will have 3 female characters, but played by players of either biological sex. Subtract 5 points from Strength for female characters, and add 2 points of Constitution, 2 points of Charisma, and 1 point of Wisdom. Please note that Elves, Drow, Trollans (based on orko from masters of the universe), Gathlain, Ghoran, and Wyrwood are not subject to this ruling, so there is no difference mechanically between male or female characters for them. Interestingly, female characters are mathematically better for Oracles, Clerics (so long as you stay away from melee combat), Sorcerers, Psychics, Mesmerists, Gunslingers, Mediums, basically anyone that doesn’t need a high Strength score, and could use the increased Constitution, Charisma, and a little bit of Wisdom. Yes, there are cheap ways to dramatically increase your carrying limits, I can show you. Skill based classes like the Unchained Rogue and Bard tend to be a mixed result, since a low Strength impacts carrying limits, Climb, Swim, and sometimes Intimidate. Male characters make better warrior types, so Fighters (melee and bows but not crossbows), Paladins, Samurai, Unchained Barbarians, Unchained Monks, Cavaliers, Inquisitors, Rangers tend to be male. Basically it pokes men into running characters that think in a more indirect, feminine way, and women into thinking in a more masculine, direct way by poking them into classes that have the right mindset/tactics. Banned Classes/Races Summoner (and Unchained version), Arcanist, Bloodrager, Brawler, Hunter, Investigator, Shaman, Skald, Slayer, Swashbuckler, Warpriest (this is all of the Advanced Class Guide), Vigilante, Shifter, all mythic paths are banned permanently (broken ruleset). Half-elves, Half-orcs are banned permanently; they are too mechanically similar to humans and don’t make sense genetically. Note that I never allow 3rd party (non Paizo) material (unless I honestly think they are balanced and appropriate but you gotta ask first), and I do not allow material that I don’t have access to personally. I am willing to get new material, however. I am the same way about the Gunslinger (need advanced tech available), Ninja (very culture centric), Samurai (very culture centric), Antipaladin (evil aligned only), Assassin (evil aligned only) classes. For example, we are playing Iron Gods, and you get access to alien guns so the Gunslinger is welcome. I won't run Rise of the Runelords, Carrion Crown, Giantslayer since I already did them.  These are the Pathfinder campaigns I have: Rise of the Runelords, Jade Regent, Shattered Star, Return of the Runelords, Reign of Winter, Mummy's Mask, Iron Gods, Curse of the Crimson Throne, Skull & Shackles, Hell's Rebels, Ruins of Azlant, Carrion Crown, Tyrant's Grasp, Strange Aeons. The difficult campaigns I have access to are Council of Thieves (3.5 have to adjust it), Giantslayer (kinda boring starting book 4 for the GM), Goblin adventure series (very short), Hell's Vengeance (evil aligned PCs), Kingmaker (3.5 have to adjust it), Second Darkness (3.5 have to adjust it). Only a few APs exist that I won't run period.  That’s not even counting the dungeon crawl classics adventure modules. Reign of Winter will let you see 18th level since I tacked on a module at the end, Carrion Crown only 15th, all other PF campaigns 17th. No gestalt classes, nothing outside the list below. Each new campaign, take a different class and role.  These are the Pathfinder classes I use: Warriors: Unchained Barbarian, Unchained Monk (very culture centric, but there are rare outside examples), Paladin, Fighter, Ranger (and possibly Gunslinger if I run Iron Gods or Reign of Winter, Samurai if running Jade Regent), Cavalier Skill Monkeys: Bard, Ranger, Unchained Rogue, possibly Ninja if running Jade Regent Divine casters: Druid, Cleric, Oracle, Inquisitor Arcane casters: Sorcerer, Wizard, Witch, Alchemist, Magus Psychics: Kineticist, Medium, Mesmerist, Occultist, Psychic, Spiritualist No politics of any kind: right, left, sexuality, real world religions, excessive feminism/whatever etc not allowed, if you have a need to make a fuss about that, you will be kicked out (all sorts tend to be in my groups). It's perfectly fine to have those views, but don't bring them to the game (this is meant to be fun, social, intellectually challenging). If you have major psych problems that get in the way of simple social interaction (explosive outbursts etc) don't contact me. I eventually ask for telephone number just in case of you not showing up to game and you didn't tell me otherwise. It's for emergency stuff, like if someone gets sick or something and I gotta cancel the game. I do care about my players! And yes, I am meticulous about not calling for funsies.  listen, I have some rules for players. 1 Give me warning 24 hours before the game if you are gonna cancel. I need the time to tell the others and cancel the game if I don't have enough people to play. This is non negotiable! 2 Play well with others. If you are too disruptive, I will boot you after several warnings. 3 Take a different role each new campaign. Try new things! 4 You have to show up to play 75% of the time. If you cancel too many times, there's no point to having you in the group. 5 Sometimes you will be required to take a role you don't really want because the rest of the group made their picks already. If this happens, the next campaign I will make sure you get first pick as to your role/class. 6 If you have to make sacrifices for the group, like blowing feats on item crafting etc, I will try to send good things your way. Teamwork is important.

Hello! I am a streamer who goes by GalaktikDragon and I'm looking for one or two more players for a game of VtM I plan to run on my stream. I am a semi practiced GM, but will be new to running V20+Future world of Darkness to create a cyberpunk style city setting, all original characters and no links to exisitng properties. I just call it Cyberpunk so people can understand the vibe of the city.  I have 3 players ready to go. 1 experienced and 2 brand new. just looking to fill out the party with some nice people who wouldn't mind streaming the game on Tuesday afternoons PST. We will be using FoundryVTT and Stoat for Voice as I no longer trust Discord after being hacked. Thanks

No politics of any kind: right, left, sexuality, real world religions, excessive feminism/whatever etc not allowed, if you have a need to make a fuss about that, you will be kicked out. It's perfectly fine to have those views, but don't bring them to the game (this is meant to be fun, social, intellectually challenging). If you have major psych problems that get in the way of simple social interaction (explosive outbursts etc) don't contact me. I do ask for telephone number just in case of you not showing up to game and you didn't tell me otherwise. Emergency stuff, like if you get sick or something. I do care about my players! I have been GMing since 1997 or so, cut my gaming teeth on AD&D first ed. I go above and beyond for my players. I am very adept at teaching, btw. This campaign is on Mondays at 6pm Central time Discord video chat, but we could change time/day if the other players are willing and able. Gimme a heads up the day before canceling a game, always be ready to play at least 75% of the game sessions. You gotta make the characters WITH MY DIRECT ASSISTANCE as I make sure they fit with the group and campaigns, plus I give out extra benefits. No twinks (must have absolute power immediately types), but I will assist you with the math to make a potent PC as possible. Lots of stupid puns and jokes. My campaigns tend to be accidentally lethal, and my NPC's tend to react within the bounds of their Intelligence scores, and ruthlessly so. I poke players into beefing up their defenses in the low levels (in between game sessions), and I am adept at teaching, I value intelligence and wisdom in a player. Vampire has difficult to make characters (you distribute dots, there are no classes). However the game play dice mechanics/rules are easy as heck. The hard part is that it demands more forethought to play, because there's a lot of deceptive NPCs, including your own. It is oddly more ethical/moral than medieval fantasy games by far, even though you don't play a hero normally, and even though you're a vampire feeding on humans and aren't human yourself. It's darker I suppose, lots of intrigue and figuring out what is really going on. Kinda like watching Babylon 5 or Dune, you have to take notes to recall everything that could be vital later. A LOT less combat than medieval fantasy games! It's rare, but nasty when it does occur. Maturity is advised. Note that I broke my campaign down in a timeline, it can be altered yes by PC actions, even down to the year and month. The only thing I haven't added in is the end of the world, Gehenna, YET. The modern day core rulebook is the one you want to spend time reading for the lore, but dark ages will have the discipline dice mechanics. Also, the Book of Nod will feature in the campaign. VERY DETAILED homebrew campaign that can be changed if you do exactly the right things at the right time, you will want to take notes to refer to later on, no exaggeration. RIght now they are in mid 1990, you will get their average xp to start with. You even get free generation if I can find a sire, an extra dot of disciplines, and 5 extra freebie plus 2 merits (Potent Aura, Common Sense/1 dot of Status). I give free Generation if you take from the official list. This can vary wildly based on what the two of us come up with (you dictate the parameters, I figure out how to make the mechanics do what you want and tell you about potential problems, and I pick out flaws so as to give you your own story arc). If you take from the Obscure list, you can buy your generation to 7th if you blow 6 background points on it.  Still gotta pick up Mentor for your sire, though.    I had to make tiny changes to V20 to make it simpler, faster. Like Celerity, Fortitude, Potence. Also I don't use abilities like Awareness, Larceny, and I kept the damn Linguistics, Dodge as they are needed. That kind of thing. I even have combat rounds with meaningful character range when I gotta be aware of the local terrain/number of villains etc. The Giovanni I replaced with Cappadocians and Lamia, as the Giovanni were megalomaniacs and incompetent besides, plus they don't seem to be at all relevant to any setting. The Ravnos I replaced as being totally divorced from the rest of the game, they don't have any influence, and seem to exist solely for troublemaking players. So, they got booted in favor of the Salubri, who actually ARE useful from a GM's perspective. Finally, I outright replaced all Setites with Baali, the latter are a much better written, and much more competent version of the Setites' Lovecraftian "I wanna bring demons into the world" schtick.  I noticed that if you played the Sabbat as written, they'd be wiped out entirely by werewolves, human hunters, and the Camarilla long ago. Worse, if they somehow managed to survive, they'd be discovered as vampires by humanity BECAUSE of their silly anti masquerade antics. On top of that, eating one's elders is a bad idea. All the Sabbat had was neonates and super buff elders, nothing in between. That means their stated purpose was a shambles. I changed their purpose to (eliminating the focus on fighting clan founders) dominating humanity, making humans into slaves. The Black Hand has been subsumed into the Sabbat as a whole. Official list of clans/bloodlines you can take in Chicago compatible with the group as it is: Nosferatu (must take Dark Fate flaw), Toreador, Ventrue, Brujah, Gangrel (Sabbat), Malkavian, City Gangrel (Camarilla), Tzimisce, Gargoyle, Caitiff (Anarch typically), Assamite (Milwaukee Sabbat), True Brujah. Obscure list (you can take them if you want, but you won't have support from fellow clan members in Chicago): Salubri (Warrior and very Camarilla), Lamia. if you pick from the official list, I can give you free generation, but you gotta also pay for mentor ratings. If you pick from the obscure list, you can BUY up to 7th generation, but you blow 6 dots to pull it off. You will likely still need a mentor though. Caitiff are interesting, I made them able to teach ANY discipline they learn; normally the 13 clans can only teach their clan disciplines. A Tzimisce who goes Camarilla eventually has huge story potential, and could aid the group extensively via Vicissitude, Koldunism (need a level 3 ritual late in the campaign), and Animalism to hose over werewolves and aid the party vs frenzy. Brujah, Toreador, Ventrue, True Brujah, and the healer version of Salubri, all have clan access to Presence, and level 3 of that power requires Appearance being high, so a PC could be quite the entrepreneur among vampires and humans..... A Tremere is possible, but you'd need to be a diehard Anarch (meaning the local Tremere want your keister dead, although good news for you that the Chicago ones are less than competent). Got a Cappadocian (a hospital morgue doctor), Salubri (one healer(an FBI agent), one watcher (a homicide Chicago police detective), and Lasombra (an amateur boxer and criminal lawyer, he wants to go Camarilla).  If you don't know the clans, I can give you information but you will need the core rulebook, the dark ages core rulebook, tome of secrets, and Erciyes Fragments books. Also a total of 20 d10's, basically two matched sets of 10 d10's, but the 2 sets cannot match each other. Preferably translucent dice, not solid. You will want a spiral notebook and a mech pencil with a white eraser preferred (its gonna be a super complicated campaign lasting at least 2 years of weekly sessions). A plastic page protector for the character sheet, and a wet erase marker. Might be a good idea to get the V20 modern core book just for the fluff and abilities, but that's up to you as it isn't strictly necessary. The Guide to the Camarilla from the Revised edition might be handy, but not strictly necessary. Prince's Primer is nice for understanding elder vampires' mindset.

Game Edition: 5.5e, 5e, and homebrew Experience: None required Session Time: Sundays PST, 1:00-5:00 PM Requirements: Discord, Google Docs, mic, device System: Modified point buy, fixed HP, metric-based leveling (Custom), no multiclassing, homebrew allowed Themes: High fantasy, low fantasy, some dark themes, some sci-fi, some political intrigue, some modern themes This is a long-term campaign with heavy homebrew. The storyline may extend upwards to 7 years over 3-4 campaigns. There is also a spot for a co-DM if any of you are interested. Lucid Adventure is a world-renowned VMMORPG accessed entirely through a person's dreams, known for its unparalleled realism and absolute freedom. As a limitless sandbox game, it functions as a literal second world for its users. The game was created by Giga, the country's most powerful corporation. While the general public initially dismissed it as a mere simulation, players are shocked by the game's realism upon first logging on. The game changed more than just how people played games; top-ranking players were treated as global celebrities, and real-world economic opportunities increasingly depended on a person's in-game capabilities. Furthermore, Lucid Adventure offered employment to injured or disabled individuals, enabling them to regain their physical mobility. Professor Altria Pendragon wrote a paper about Lucid Adventure called “The Fulfillment of Dreams,” in which she famously wrote: "This game is a new wave. For lack of a better word, it is an evolution and revolution of a new mankind." The module itself: Is about a group of lv2 adventurers who set off on a quest for one of a few reasons, either to find the Druid Belak and stop the vine blight infestations from killing innocents, to find the gulthias tree which is rumored to grow a life giving fruit that will cure anything that ails you, to stop the goblin hoards harassing townsfolk and merchants, or to simply explore the old dungeon, the sunless citadel and see what riches and mysteries may still lie there. (these all tie together of course) I will likely start us in forgotten realms, though admittedly I don't know a ton of the lore off the top of my head for any dnd world, but I know I sure as hell ain't making my own. Setting can be discussed, this module is built to run in many worlds and we can always pivot to whatever sounds cool later. Session time/day and player amount: I work until 2-3am EST on the regular and would like to start right about then, and the sessions would likely last till 6-7am EST. I can likely make this work for any day of the week, but the start time isn't very flexible. I would prefer to have no more then 5 players, but if a existing group looking for a DM has 6, then I'll work with that but no more. A little about me: I'm a 27 year old trans woman whos been playing ttrpg's for about 9 years, primarily 5e dnd and V5 vampire the masquerade. While I prefer running VtM, its a hard sell for me to play it with a new squad of ppl because of how dark the theming usually is. I'm pretty good at making DnD combat non repetitive and interesting, but be warned this is for a modified existing module of dnd that doesn't involve a ton of RP. It's designed more with combat and resource management in mind then anything else, but I have done my best to put in RP where I can. I will admit in the past I've struggled with keeping RP consistently good amongst all the fighting, but I'm working on it. I'm a fairly rules orientated DM, I am willing to flex some things but largely I want to run a successful long term game group before I start modifying rules around dnd. Between 2014 and 2024 I have most of the rules I'd like anyway. How we'll play: I'm making a simple discord server to host the game, we will use a group VC there. Also we will be using Roll20 to run the table top of the game. I'm most familiar with it and know best how that works, and have the module pre set up on the website. What I want from players and some expectations for me: I would strongly prefer a LGBT group, or at least largely so, that have existing synergy, and will please just communicate if/when there are issues amongst us. Any skill level is welcome, but I will try to teach y'all to play efficiently, so no constant long rests after every 2 fights, even if we are only lv2. Please be prepared for a largely combat orientated game, and chill vibes. I will gladly help people build characters and have the resources ready to do so. This is a existing module, so don't expect me to weave your character into the world effectively over the course of one village and a dungeon. This is a beginners DnD module that I like to run to get vibes on a group. I will absolutely put more work into whatever we do next, but right now I don't want to prep a ton of stuff special for people I don't know only to have it fall flat in a month.

The Legends of Arithea

Homebrew Homebrew
Roleplay focused Roleplay focused
Hello and welcome to the world of Arithea! Arithea is a world where gods walk among the people, magic is everywhere, and the stars are alive with knowledge of the past. The year is 3999 AR, just before the elder gods return to the mortal plane for the thousand year festival. It should be a time for celebration, but something dark is brewing. There’s whispers about a dangerous magic that turns people mad and tensions growing in the south of the realm. Not that those whispers concern you, of course. After all, you’ve found yourself in the kingdom of Eridia, a place known for its peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. Regardless of how or why you came here, you’re here now, and you have received a mysterious letter signed by the head of the Queen’s guard requesting your help. This is where our story begins. ——————————————————— I’m a 21 year old experienced player (but new dm) that has created an entirely home brew world to run this game in. My big inspirations are Percy Jackson, Studio Ghibli, Genshin Impact, and the podcast Malevolent, though that one doesn’t translate as well as the others since my world isn’t horror. I’m a big fan of whimsy and the rule of cool, so if you’ve got a wacky character idea, this might just be the place for you! I really want to go into depth about your backstory and make you care about not only your character, but the group as a whole. This will be a very rp focused game, with very little but meaningful combat. I plan for it to be mostly serious in terms of tone, but I am also not going to shy away from the occasional ridiculous side quest or silly bit. I will warn you now that I can’t really do voices and accents for the life of me, but I’m going to try my best. I don’t know exactly when this game will start because it will depend on how quickly I find players, but I’m hoping for late August or September. I plan for this to be a very long term game, so please only apply if you’re going to be in it for the long haul. We will be starting with every other week, but we may switch to every week once I get a hang of prepping for/running sessions. ——————————————————— Ground rules: 18+ only. Please be safe on the internet you guys. No AI in any form. No bigotry of any kind. We will be using d&d 5e 2014 rules. I’m also open to homebrew stuff, but you have to ask me first. New players are 100% welcome! You don’t need to have any experience at all with anything d&d, all I ask is that you show up and try your best. I’m totally willing to help you figure it out! I am a new DM. This is the first game I am running ever. There will inevitably be hiccups and mistakes but such is life. If you’re looking for a super polished game, this probably isn’t the one for you, but I have hope that we’ll still have fun, everyone starts somewhere and I’m excited to start here! If everything above sounds good to you, then please fill out the form I made and I will message you with more information if I think you’d be a good fit! Hello. We are a group of D&D players and DMs that have been together for 8 years. We recently had some members move away, so we are looking for more players. We occasionally change DMs, so no forever DMs here. We tend to focus more on roleplay than combat. We are open to other TTRPG systems or tabletop games in general. We are currently running a hombrew campaign in 5e.

ABOUT: This adventure takes place in the Sansinukob Wildspace. This system has 13 planets, held together by a dead and forgotten god at the center. There are no suns here, only moons to illuminate every planet. Fifty years ago, a monstrous sea serpent named Bakunawa awakened from her slumber, consumed by endless hunger. She consumed all six moons above planet Tawalisi, one by one, until they were left in darkness for thirty years. Twenty years ago, the datu, Maximo Catubig, invented Bulan Lights, magical lamps that emit artificial moonlight, finally bringing light back to his people. They were a solace, soon placed in every home in Tawalisi. The people were finally able to thrive again, and Maximo helped pave the way to further technological advancement. However, decades of darkness had taken its toll; Some of the citizens of Tawalisi have become consumed by the same hunger that possessed Bakunawa, mutating their bodies and destroying their minds until all they can think about is eating the Bulan Lights. They will stop at nothing to consume all sources of moonlight, and will hurt and kill anything and anyone that gets in the way. Datu Maximo has called for help from all adventurers willing to listen. Assist him in installing these lights wherever he can, so he can save his people from being plunged into darkness again. Looking for players for a CWN campaign tentatively titled “Chrome Fires Burning.” Voice is on Discord, VTT will probably be roll20. Everyone is welcome, the only rule is don’t be a dick. Games will be Sunday nights at 9PM CST Elevator pitch is as follows: The year is 2072. In 2025 the development of a new drug, ephemerol, lead to unbelievable advances in cybernetics and technological implantation. Able to bridge the gap between the nervous system and machine circuitry, ephemerol was hailed as a miracle drug, ushering in a new age of transhumanism However, before this new technological golden age could be upon us, it was smothered in the cradle by corporate greed. A jealousy guarded secret, the corporations who developed it held the formula for the miracle drug hostage, demanding corporate sovereignty in exchange for granting access to the masses. A combination of public promises, lobbyists, and paid politicians ensured this deal went through The gift became a double edged sword as the drug was distributed, only working with the cybernetics supplied by those corporations granted sovereignty, allowing them to gobble up more and more influence, to the point that entire cities have become little more than corporate towns, beholden to the companies that own them Within these sovereign territories, anything that threatens the bottom line is meet with brutal consequences. The workers who decided to rise up, to unionize, were branded criminals and domestic terrorists, locked away if not executed in a back alley Public utilities have been sold off little by little, leaving those who refuse the hand of the corporations with rapidly dwindling resources. The once mighty governments of the world now forced to bend the knee to the oligarchs Gangs run rampant, acting with impunity as long as their dues are paid, or left to their own devices due to lack of resources to stop them Despite this turmoil, there is new opportunity. Companies now fight a desperate war for market share, managers willing to pay to sabotage one another for the next promotion. Money talks, and right now, it’s screaming Chicago is one such battleground. Built into a shining edifice as the headquarters of several massive corporations, it now resembles a patchwork of countries, as each corporation claims sovereign territory within the blocks of city property it lays claim to. A hub of trade even in this time, boardroom battles spill out on to the streets, bullet and blade picking up where ink and negotiation fail

Dragon Ball Millennium A DB/DBZ D&D Homebrew

Homebrew Homebrew
Adult Adult
Hello, I'm looking for 3-5 experienced players of D&D, so sorry to any beginners. I’m looking for those who like Dragon Ball, RP, and wouldn't mind rules that are heavier/crunchier than usual. You MUST be 21+ and I would prefer it if you are from a NA timezone. Schedule It'll take place in discord vc every Friday 5pm to 11pm CST. 5pm being the earliest we start and 11pm the latest I'm willing to run till, so it may be possible to start later or end early some session but ideally 3-5 hours of playtime is what I'm shooting for. I don't have an official start date as I want to pick the best players for the game. It’s hard to give an estimate to how long this game will go on for but I expect it to be a long-term campaign. Expectations It goes without saying that basic manners and engaging with the game sincerely are expected, but for me the biggest thing is communication. What I mean by that is tell me what you liked, didn't like, want to see more of, see less of, and especially if you're not going to be able to attend the session or not or if you're just straight up not happy with the game. Failing this as well as any other basic manners will warrant you getting kicked from the game pretty quickly. System and Homebrew The majority of the homebrew and system are built on 2014 rules but I will defer to 2024 if the ruling is more concise or simply better. I expect the players to all be the same class, which is the Martial Artist class, but this allows the player to easily steer it in whatever direction they want. We will be using roll20 for combat, rolls, and character sheets. There will be a lot to learn but we will go over it as a group. The homebrew module can be found here. Certain races and options will not be allowed but I will go over that in detail once in game. Tone Starting out things will be more focused on a somewhat grounded adventure like DB was starting out and after sometime will transition into higher stakes like in DBZ. I'm hoping to keep things within the spirit of Dragon Ball so quite relaxed at times with intentionally funny bits that can easily be reversed into serious, life threatening, heroic moments. However, role play is taken very seriously, so what you say and do isn't taken lightly. Even if the silly moments happen the people within them do not treat their lives as a joke. I will not accept any joke characters, overly dramatic, or brooding/edgy characters. I expect the player characters to be mostly heroic or even morally gray. This is all expected because it helps keep things lighthearted yet emotionally grounded. Setting The campaign takes place on Earth in the year 1000, a new millennium is here, and along with it the 100th World Martial Arts Tournament. It is centuries past the era of the Z-Fighters but their effects are still rippling throughout the universe. Martial arts, ki control, sciences, and magic are widely understood and studied by many, if not all. Say Goku on the last question in the application to prove to me you’ve read the post. The Dragon Balls still play a major role for many people and worlds. It is even the grand prize for whoever wins the tournament! It has led to the reshaping and growth of many worlds and races once thought lost or nearing extinction. This does not mean that the road ahead has already been walked, in fact, there is not only an entire world but a universe to explore! Recap and Conclusion Looking for 21+ 3-5 experienced D&D players from NA time zones who like Dragon ball, RP, combat, and do not mind learning and complex rules. Willingness to engage not only in your character seriously but others and even NPCs. Engaging with the world and setting seriously, even when it comes across as silly If this sounds interesting to you the application for the game can be found here and I will contact you on discord for a VC interview. I'm really looking forward to seeing some applications!

[LFG] Party of 5 Seeking DM for Curse of Strahd

Hello! We're a group of five players looking for a Dungeon Master interested in running Curse of Strahd. Our group is made up of a mix of complete beginners and experienced D&D players, but none of us have played or spoiled Curse of Strahd. We want to experience the campaign as intended, with all of its mystery, tension, and surprises intact. We're looking for a DM who: Enjoys roleplay and character-driven storytelling. Doesn't mind teaching newer players while still challenging experienced ones. Wants to create a memorable, immersive gothic horror experience. Values collaboration, communication, and a respectful table. What you can expect from us: A full party of five that's excited to commit to a long-term campaign. Players who enjoy getting invested in their characters and the world. Respectful attitudes, good communication, and a willingness to learn. Discord for voice communication. If you're an experienced Curse of Strahd DM or someone who's been looking for the right group to run it for, we'd love to hear from you. Tell us a little about your DMing style, your preferred schedule, and anything you'd like us to know. If you think we'd be a good fit, send us a message. We're ready to brave the mists of Barovia. Either message me on here, or add me on discord at conduitformallyknownaskade

## ❄️ Beyond the Last Campfire The fire is dying. Beyond the ring of light, the snow stretches north into darkness. Somewhere out there, an ancient power is gathering the giant clans to war. The expedition leaves again next Wednesday. Will you be among those who return? --- ## Experienced AD&D 1st Edition Players Wanted I'm looking for **one or two players** to join an established **Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st Edition** campaign. This isn't an OSR clone. It isn't "old-school inspired." It isn't 5E wearing a fake beard. This is **AD&D 1st Edition**, played very much in the TSR spirit. More importantly, you'll be joining a **living campaign that has been running for over three years**, where every victory, every disaster and every decision has become part of the world's history. --- ## The Campaign Inspired by classic sword & sorcery and TSR adventures, the campaign blends published classics with original material into a single persistent world. The classic modules are places within that world rather than isolated adventures, and what happens in one expedition continues to shape those that follow. The current expedition has reached the frozen north, but the campaign also encompasses political intrigue, wilderness expeditions, forgotten ruins, ancient conspiracies and dangerous dungeon delving. --- ## What to Expect • AD&D 1st Edition played largely as written • A persistent world that continues to evolve • Exploration over scripted stories • Resource management and meaningful logistics • Intelligent enemies with morale, plans and objectives • Real consequences for success and failure • No encounter scaling • No plot armour • Combat is dangerous, and retreat is sometimes the wisest course. --- ## About the Group We're a friendly, welcoming bunch with a good sense of humour. We enjoy immersive roleplaying, exploration and solving problems as a group. The atmosphere around the table is relaxed. The world itself is not. --- ## Campaign Details **System:** AD&D 1st Edition **Platform:** Discord (voice) & Owlbear Rodeo **When:** Wednesdays, 1900–2100 GMT (approximately) **Players Wanted:** 1–2 **Age:** 18+ **Voice:** Required --- ## Looking For Ideally you'll already know 1st Ed. AD&D or another old-school RPG, but enthusiasm for learning is just as important. If you enjoy campaigns where your decisions matter, victories are earned, and the world exists independently of the player characters, you'll probably fit in well. If that sounds like your kind of game, send me a message telling me a little about yourself, your RPG experience, and what you enjoy most in a long-term campaign. *"The road north is open.* *Whether you return is another matter."*

New to D&D? Heroes of Phandalin Beginner Campaign

Paid game Paid game
$15/ session: Sign up here Bi-weekly / Thursday - 6:30 PM CDT This is a beginner-friendly Dungeons & Dragons campaign set in the frontier town of Phandalin. You’ll start at level 1, take on local quests, explore ruins, deal with monsters, and gradually uncover a larger threat tied to the region. The campaign blends open-ended adventures with a growing story, so you’ll always have direction—but your choices matter. Built for New Players No experience needed. This game is designed to teach you as you play: Step-by-step guidance during sessions Help with character creation Rules explained in plain language A supportive, low-pressure table Worried About Starting? I’ve Been There. “I’m not creative enough” You don’t need to be. Just decide what your character does. “I attack.” “I search the room.” That’s enough. The flavor comes naturally over time. “I don’t know the rules” You’re not expected to. We’ll handle that together. The only rule that matters at the table: keep the game moving and have fun. “I’ll feel awkward roleplaying” No voices required. You can simply describe what your character says or does. Roleplay is about decisions, not acting. “I don’t know how to build a good character” You don’t need an optimized build. Fun, interesting characters matter more than perfect ones—and I’ll help you every step of the way. What to Expect A mix of combat, exploration, and roleplay Clear guidance without slowing the game down A campaign that starts simple and grows in depth A story shaped by your decisions The Only Thing You Need to Bring: A willingness to try. This isn’t about winning—it’s about building a story together.

Hey my names Jack and i have been a DM for a long time. Being a Dungeon Master is fun, but of course as a DM you also want to be the Player yourself in some Campaigns. This is what this game is for. I am looking for 1 other DM who would like to take part in a Round Robin style of Game with the rest of the existing group. Round Robin is where each Player gets a Turn to be the DM. 1 Person DM's a Story arc or Oneshot dependent on how they feel and then the next Person takes over and the Person who DM'd gets to play his Character. For this game i will be using Discord as Voice and VTT Foundry as the tabletop. a Webcam is not required. We are strictly against AI Art and want no use of it in our games and are supportive of LGBTQ, if you do have problems with either of these things dont even bother messaging me. Requirements: 18+ Years of Age Fluent in English Time once per Week for a 4~ Hour Session Saturday 20:00 GMT+2 A Good Microphone (with no Interruptions in the Background) The game will take place in European timezone and we cannot change this.

Sunday, 7PM +2 GMT, biweekly, 20$ per session Foundry+Discord Sign up on Startplaying HERE --- For generations, the people of Ravenland lived trapped behind cursed borders, isolated by fear, war, and the deadly Blood Mist. Now the mist has lifted, and the Forbidden Lands lie open once more. Ruined castles, forgotten crypts, ancient battlefields, and lost treasures wait for those reckless enough to claim them — but powerful factions are already racing to uncover the secrets buried beneath the land. In this campaign you will explore a harsh open-world fantasy setting shaped by survival, discovery, and ambition. At the center of the campaign lies the legend of the elven rubies: artifacts tied to ancient wars, dark magic, and the fate of Ravenland itself. Your party may become treasure hunters, mercenaries, explorers, outlaws, or reluctant heroes as rival powers close in and old evils awaken. My games focus on atmosphere, emergent storytelling, meaningful choices, and sandbox exploration. Expect dangerous travel, resource management, deadly combat, faction intrigue, mysterious ruins, and moments where greed, fear, and desperation drive the story forward. The world reacts to your actions, and survival often depends more on preparation and creativity than brute force. This campaign is ideal for players who enjoy gritty fantasy, hex-crawl exploration, survival mechanics, and player-driven adventures. No prior experience with Forbidden Lands is needed — new players are welcome, but Ravenland is unforgiving to the careless.

The World of the Occult Underground awaits you - All you need is an idea for a person trying to navigate life in a city full of secrets, and who wants to change the world. -------------------------- Portland, Maine, is an old city with its eye on the future. It's a city of lighthouses, fishing boats, old brick streets, and hidden corners. Tourists see a charming coastal town. As someone who lives there, you see a little deeper. Beneath the restaurants, breweries, and waterfront shops lies another Portland—a city built from obsessions, impossible coincidences, dangerous secrets, and people willing to sacrifice everything for what they believe in, not just politically but metaphysically. Unknown Portland is a modern supernatural horror campaign using the Unknown Armies 3e TTRPG system. This is a game about putting your mark on the world, but not primarily about fighting monsters, unless injustice, TikTok, or something else you find intolerable about the world counts as a 'monster'. It's a game about discovery, obsession, and making a difference in a world filled with people who are determined to see it remain the same—or who seek to twist it to their own ends. The way forward is rarely clear, and it will be up to you to decide who you agree with, who you oppose, and what kind of future you're willing to fight for. One thing is certain: meaningful change always comes at a cost. What that cost is, and whether you're willing to pay it, are up to you... If you have the courage to step into the ring and make your voice heard. -------------------------- If You Join the Game, You Will Find: Character-Driven Stories Your relationships matter. Friends, lovers, family, rivals, and mentors are not background details—they are the heart of the story. Every connection can become a source of strength, heartbreak, inspiration, or danger. Found Family The people who stand beside you may become more important than the people who raised you. In a city full of secrets, trust is rare and precious. Meaningful Choices There are no perfect solutions. Every victory has consequences. Every sacrifice changes you. The decisions your character makes will leave lasting marks on the city and on the people around them, and even perhaps future games in the world. Mystery and Discovery The occult underground is hidden in plain sight. Every rumor may contain a fragment of truth. Every coincidence might be engineered. Every answer leads to deeper questions. Personal Horror The greatest threats are often the things people do to themselves. Ambition. Obsession. Love. Fear. The supernatural is terrifying, but human choices are what shape that horror. -------------------------- The game is run on Roll20 for tabletop and Discord for Audio/Video. It is streamed and recorded for posterity. Microphones are required, and cameras are encouraged. The game will deal with adult subject matter and may involve trauma. We maintain an open-door policy and are willing to discuss if certain topics hit too close to home. New players are welcome and preferred. We want to introduce you to the Occult Underground and prefer players who are unfamiliar but willing to learn and explore this world. The game is set in Portland, Maine, in 2022. All you need is an idea for a regular person who lives around Portland, Maine. Most PCs are in their mid-twenties, though older characters are certainly possible. -------------------------- This is a mature game focused on emotional storytelling, mystery, supernatural horror, and character development. Violence exists, but the story's focus is on people, relationships, choices, and consequences rather than combat. If you enjoy shows and stories like The Dresden Files, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Magicians, True Detective, The Sandman, or The Magnus Archives, you'll probably feel right at home.

The Thief's Tale

I have a game that needs a bit of explanation. The game is open Thursdays and Fridays 8 PM EDT. Players can attend whichever sessions they like, as long as they make an occasional appearance they are still active. It is a city based game and all sessions are episodic, so there are no cliffhangers. Characters can be Bards, Fighters, Thieves, or Wizards. I emphasize roleplay and solving problems, we are neglige' on the rules. Each character can create a number of NPCs, based on their charisma. Each week they will receive rumors from each NPC. The group will meet briefly at Mike's Bar to discuss the rumors and decide on a mission to run that night. At any given time there are at least 6 possible missions available. Players can have more than one character, they will not operate together. Players can share information amongst themselves. Characters will have macros made for most of their actions, to keep things moving. Locations are highly detailed with lighting, weather and random events built in. I currently have about 35 scenes created. Have a look and see if it is something you are interested in: The Thief's Tale An example of my game mastering a scifi game: Stars Without Number (Space/Sci-Fi) One Shot! Overlander - Grand Strategy Wargame and Roleplay

The Dutonic Valley was subjugated for over three centuries, but the spirit of its people was never broken. Following the devastation of the Burning of the Wood, the might of the Mirric oppressors was finally broken. Now, Dutonic tribes have once more gained a foothold in their ancestral homeland. Many eccentric tribes have arises from the smoke. Some fight to reclaim the Dutonic heartland in the marshes along the river, while other tribes have carved out petty kingdoms in the highlands. Cults, pagans, noble kings, merciless warlords. In the upcoming arc, a new set of cultures are released on the edges of the map. The surviving Miralenians, the fierce Falmarci, and more now contend for the fertile land of the Dutonic Valley, while its defenders must stand against the tide and retain a grip on their long-ailing homeland. - In this campaign, you join the ongoing chaos to carve out a future for your people. You create a faction leader and develop your lands to shape your realm and rule. You can fight battles to gain new lands or raid enemy factions. The wargame is a D6 dice pool based game, using small units of about 4-10 models and about 6-12 units per side. With unique weapon traits and unit traits, positioning and clever engagements are key to victory. - This is a bit of a hybrid experience, combining grand strategy and a tactical wargame with pbp roleplay. You've got some of the classic trappings of strategy games in managing territories and building armies, but with a grand TTRPG feel. Alliances come from both ideology and circumstance. With a campaign map to track valuable resources, the spread of rival powers, and warlords on the lurk, the consequences of diplomacy are tangible. Through letters, trade, and roleplay spaces you can manoeuvre through the growing web of factions and ensure your people persist through it all. The campaign operates on a weekly turn, during which your actions and decisions tick over and you reap the benefits of your rule, or face its unfortunate consequences. However, you can scheme, send letters, and manage your realm any time. The campaign is designed for around 10 to 15 players.

The Devil's Island

A campaign for players of all level of experience. If you enjoy a long term campaign that's heavy role-playing with combat that's pirate themed, then come join the adventure  ☠️ The Devil’s Island ☠️ Gold has a way of finding the desperate… and the foolish. You were both. Seven thousand platinum. Split between strangers. All for a simple job-no blood, no risk, just a staged heist in one of the most luxurious taverns you’ve ever set foot in. Steal a ruby, outplay the competition, walk away richer than you’ve ever dreamed. Easy. It was supposed to be easy. But somewhere between the laughter, the wagers, and the clink of fine glasses… something changed. The other crews never made it back. Their ships were found broken-dragged beneath black waves, crews drowned, cargo lost to the deep. And somehow… every whisper, every accusation, every scrap of evidence points to you. Now you’re not competitors. You’re fugitives. To clear your names, you’ll need to do the unthinkable-steal a ship, outrun the law, and chase the truth across unforgiving seas. But the deeper you dig, the worse it gets. There are rumours. Of an artifact called the veilbreaker, stolen the same night as the ruby. Of storms that rise without warning, swallowing fleets whole. Of the dead… refusing to stay buried. Out on the open sea, it isn’t just pirates hunting you. The ocean remembers. And something beneath the waves wants you dead. THIS CAMPAIGN IS PAID £17 PER SESSION  Every Wednesday at 1pm  3-4 hours  Uses a mixture of 5e and 5.5 Link to startplaying to sign up
