Hi, I'm Patchwork. I'm a 20-something geek who enjoys spending his time on various TTRPGs. My previous group fell apart due to scheduling issues, as most do, so I'm here looking for something new! I'm mostly into the roleplaying aspect of tabletop games, I enjoy immersing myself in whatever character and world I'm put into, and bouncing off party hijinks! I usually put a lot of effort and a decent amount of writing into my characters and their backstories, but I usually do that as a creative writing exercise, and never expect a DM to know it front-to-back (I always put a summarization/TL;DR first). But if you do, all the better! In terms of systems and experience with VTTs, you can already see what systems I've looked into/played, and I've gamed a bunch in Roll20 and Foundry, so I'll have no issues navigating either of those VTTs. But if you have something new, I'm always willing to learn! As for the kind of games I'm looking for, I've been playing Fantasy for quite a long time now, and I'm hoping to get into some Sci-fi settings, and trying out systems in that niche. Hello adventurers! We are currently over 30 members on a discord server that started as a newbie friendly tutorial group. The server is beginner-friendly, but we also welcome more experienced players. We focus on learning the basics, improving roleplay, and most importantly, creating a relaxed and enjoyable environment. I’m currently on GMT+2, and my sessions usually run in the evenings, around 19:00–20:00 until 23:00-00:00 local time. But there are other people on different time zones to play with! I'm a forever-DM who's looking to join a campaign as a player for once. I enjoy role play and combat and love discussing the lore of the game even when we're not playing. I love on the east coast of the US, but work weird early morning hours, so am usually looking for games in time zones that are a little ahead of my own. Specifically, I joined to see if there were any groups out there that use Cubicle 7's Uncharted Journeys travel and journey rules. I purchased it for a couple months ago and it seems really cool but I wanted to experience it as a player before using it in my campaigns. Hello! I'm Amanda, I've played d&d 5e for a couple of years - one as a wizard and one as a druid. Looking for 18+ (21+ even better), lgbtq+ friendly groups. I'm in the EST timezone. Friday evenings and Sundays are my best times, possibly Monday, Thursday, or Saturday evenings. Casual player here hoping to have fun and maybe make some friends along the way. I love spellcasters and really want to play either a wizard or sorcerer as my next character. Class and race ultimately would be determined based on campaign and version of D&D. I'm looking for a good mix of roleplay/exploration/combat; I really enjoy the rp aspect and having a fun storyline to follow as well as the flow of combat. Being able to roll my physical dice is a must, there's something really satisfying about it. I can promise I'm not looking to dice cheat or anything. I started out with an in person group and due to that I get a lot of satisfaction from actually rolling my own dice vs clicking a button. I also collect dice that match each character - my first character had a few sets of purple-themed dice, my next character had dice themed around her being a circle of wildfire druid (plant dice, fire dice, and green dice). I plan on that continuing with my next character. I'm really wanting to play in the standard d&d high fantasy setting (nothing space, mech, etc). Homebrew campaigns only, I'm not wanting to play one of the premade campaigns like Descent into Avernus. I do also have a character idea! I'm not set on playing her, and the idea is setting and starting-level dependent. But basically: A character who starts off down the path of a paladin or cleric, but realizes magic is her calling instead. The reason she started as a paladin or cleric would be worked into the setting, but originally the idea was that she was a cultist who fully believed in that cult. Until she became disillusioned and saw through for what was really going on. After fleeing the cult (did she help take it down?), she wanted to atone and become a paladin or cleric to fight those in power in cults throughout the land - and then found magic was her calling in that fight instead. Functionally, starting with a level in paladin or cleric then multiclassing into wizard or sorcerer.

New player to ttrpgs. Curious about DnD since I been playin BG3 lately.

Hi, I’m an experienced D&D player with some GMing experience. Having recently retired, I find myself with some spare time and am learning how to GM using Foundry VTT. I have the Heroes of the Borderlands Starter Set, which is a perfect introduction for new players. So I’m on the lookout for anyone interested in giving D&D a try. I’m in the UK and plan to play in the evening. The exact day, time, frequency, etc., is up for negotiation.

Player Experience About 2 years as a player and 1 as a GM. Haven't played in around a year though [21 Location/Timezone CT (AL) Availability I'm able to play on weekends specifically Saturday afternoon but anything else throughout the week is really iffy. 14] Game Style I enjoy building stories, I like both the more strategic style of play and the straight forward "hit stuff" style of play. I also like to think I'm a versatile player and I don't ever metagame since as someone who's been a GM I know that can really hurt the game. Preferred Way to Play My favorite way to play is discord Play-By-Post since it helps keeping me consistent with my responses. However, I would not be opposed to trying out a scheduled VC game. Dndbeyond is the best way I know how to make character sheets and I'm pretty well versed in Avrae but am getting used to Roll20. Additional Info I won't participate in any games with explicit ERP. I've played in a handful of games using the 2014 rules but I find 2024's changes in the lore, classes (mainly monk), and rules super interesting and I've been itching to try them out! As for the kind of game I'd be interested in playing in, I'd like to play in a heroic fantasy type game that is equal parts fun combat and character roleplay. I like joking around in my games but I'm also invested in the game's story and characters and I'm able to be serious during important moments. other small things: - I don't like ai being used in games - I would apprieciate a battle map during combat. It could just be a blank grid with tokens, I just struggle with theater of the mind. I'm available on any day except Thursdays.

I'm looking to find long term campaigns for long term connections!

25+ years of experience with 3e/3.5/PF1. Normally I'm happy to GM permanently or take turns, but I've been dealing with chronic health issues which make game preparations unreliable. I'm currently on disability, so I have both excessive free time and extremely limited funds (non-paid games preferred). I'm open 11AM to 10PM EST every day, except Sunday, alternating Tuesday evenings, and Saturday evenings. I would happily join multiple different games to fill my schedule. I love tactical combat (the more complex, the better!). I love to roleplay with other players and GMs alike, as much or as little as the group is comfortable with. I generally prefer playing Good-aligned full casters. I am adaptable between silly / casual / optimized / min-max playstyles.

heya! 18yr gay experienced player looking for group! Long post but worth i hope I’m a player leaning type of dude but I also love dming as well! I’m currently in 4 campaigns(one I dm) but 2 of them biweekly on the same day, and one just about to end so I’m seeking another campaign that’s ideally mid-long length! Characters: I usually love playing the comic relief but I have many character ideas and want to explore out of my comfort zone. I love opposites attract parties so I always try to play the character with a differing personality! Schedule: I prefer anything after 6:30 MST on every weekday besides friday where i’m always free. I’m a huge night owl so I’m even down to go into the AM’s given we take some breaks. Other than that I am free on sundays but not saturdays unless it’s earlier.. What I’m looking for: Experienced players and DM and also people who love roleplay focused campaigns and aren’t afraid to interact, cause conflict, and other fun dialogue thingys. I’m ambitious and a risk taker so I love when my players or when my other party members are also! I also would like a dm and players who like using voices and accents! ALSO I PREFER DND 5E!
