Hi, I'm Patchwork. I'm a 20-something geek who enjoys spending his time on various TTRPGs. My previous group fell apart due to scheduling issues, as most do, so I'm here looking for something new! I'm mostly into the roleplaying aspect of tabletop games, I enjoy immersing myself in whatever character and world I'm put into, and bouncing off party hijinks! I usually put a lot of effort and a decent amount of writing into my characters and their backstories, but I usually do that as a creative writing exercise, and never expect a DM to know it front-to-back (I always put a summarization/TL;DR first). But if you do, all the better! In terms of systems and experience with VTTs, you can already see what systems I've looked into/played, and I've gamed a bunch in Roll20 and Foundry, so I'll have no issues navigating either of those VTTs. But if you have something new, I'm always willing to learn! As for the kind of games I'm looking for, I've been playing Fantasy for quite a long time now, and I'm hoping to get into some Sci-fi settings, and trying out systems in that niche. Hi, I'm Olaf in my mid 40's and doing this hobby for... well decades is I assume correct. I played and run dozens of campaigns from scratch homebrew to puplished, though i really prefer homebrew, puplished stuff... well get's derailed quickly, at least that is my ex111perience. I'm at home with some of the major systems, like 5e, PF1 & 2 (actually translated some of the earlier 2end edition stuff), W:TA, M:TA (so in general the storyteller systems, mostly 2nd to aniversary), but also with some of the more unknown and niche stuff not many folks know (like 1st and 2nd edition Alternity, Stormbringer and other even more obscure stuff - no not cringe stuff, just obscure like "Ruf des Warlock", a D30 based system that needs a graphical calculator, or Gemeni). Well and Classics, Aventurica/DSA 2nd and 3rd, AD&D 2nd in all it's strange glory and very strange optional rulesets. So been there done that. My time frame is a bit wonky, but sincerly i need a break from my routine, reason why pbm is actually not that bad an option - if everyone is disciplined - I go normaly by traffic light system (Red = NO; Yellow = maybe; Green = OK) in regards to communicate what i'm fine with in a session. I can stomach some stuff - mind me not everything - but there are lines not to be crossede, but this is for a session zero. I'm comfortable with English and German, and prefer neither. Some quirks: I do gender crossplay, noting this as not everyone is comfortable with this. I tend to go for anthro themed characters, i have more fun with completly non-human characters depicting. Hmm what else... I bring in method acting, so if using voice chat, 'tis normal if i sound very diffrently while ic or being ooc. But by no means i need that from everyone, i just enjoy it personally. Hello everyone! my name is Blair, and I am a player looking for more games to play! my schedule just recently opened up, and i need to roll dice and tell some stories! a bit about me: a bulk of my TTRPG experience comes from playing 2014, but i do have experience playing other systems as well, such as Candela Obscura, Daggerheart, Pathfinder, and I've even played a homebrew version of DND. when it comes to me as a player, i do tend to play spellcasters, it just intrigues me a lot more than the martial classes, and when I do play martial classes, i always give them limited magic. I'm also a pretty respectful tablemate, i try to give my fellow players a chance to get involved. along with that, I do engage in romance, both PC and NPC, just depends on whether or not the table is down with that! oh, speaking of romance, i am Queer and trans! with the world that we exist in, I find that it is better for my table to know that upfront than learn that not only am I not cis but also, I like both boys and girls, it's just a fact of life. with that you must be a Queer and trans friendly table as well as a disabled friendly table since I am disabled as well! now to move onto a gm I would prefer: typically, how I'd parse out a potential good GM for me to play under, is I'd do a one-shot with them and see if we're a good fit, and if we can have good conversation, but considering the nature of a post like this, I am willing to forego that! that being said, you still need to have the following: be America-based and even more specifically be CST-based- since I am based in North America, I just can't do uber late games. it's not good for my mental health, and it causes me to be a terrible person for responding to DMs. RP skills - this doesn't mean that you shouldn't at least try to incorporate combat in your sessions but i need those RP skills sharpened to the max! homebrew vs. Module - I am willing to play a module but i would prefer a homebrew world. it shows that you are more than willing to be flexible with your players' stories and want to share that creativity with the world at large. recording vs basic home game - I am very okay and do consent to a recorded game, considering i have been in a few actual plays! that, however, does not mean that i will turn my nose up at a basic home game, in fact that is one of my favorites!

I can get along with anyone, but I prefer everyone at the table to be able to legally drink a beer. I like a mix of roleplay and combat, with some exploration and puzzle solving mixed in. I'm open to playing other RPG's but I know DnD the best. I don't mind playing with inexperienced players. I don't mind contributing financially for books, VTT, or other necessities, but I'm not interested in paying to play. The type of game I enjoy is one that isn't the same every session. I'm perfectly fine with a session that has one fight that takes all session. I'm also fine with only roleplay. Mix it up, it fights the rut. I also like to vary between serious and fun. Every session doesn't have to be super serious, and every session shouldn't be all joking. I'm team oriented. Greetings! My name is Martin, 30 years old, born and raised in Germany, although I had a few international stints in London (UK) and New Zealand. Campaign: I work two shifts in a weekly rhythm. So I am looking for either: A bi-weekly campaign during the work week, starting earliest 3pm (CET) Or on saturdays/sundays starting around the same time (though I can be flexible on the weekends) What I look for in a campaign is a good mix of roleplay and exploration of (ideally) homebrewed worlds. I love to get into the weeds of how religions formed, how societes interact with eachother and how the literal mechanics of arcana work in your world. I love to explore and get to know mysteries and happenings in an actual world that I can immerse myself into. I think combat should be a mechanic to get to know your characters mechanics as well as storytelling tools to further a plot or a characters ambitions. I do not like to combat every session but I would rather have 3-4 sessions without it and then hunger for it to beat up some baddies (or allies, if they misbehave). Players: I want my fellow players to immerse themselves in their characters and be able to play a role that they encompass in the party. I do not like too many OOC jokes or banter, although of course thats part of having fun with the fellow humans that inhabit characters. I also want my companions to be able to step out of their personal comfort zone and explore the ambigious morals of a characters journey in a world where there isn't necessarily a right or wrong, but a spectrum of choices. I also appreciate if my partners in crime push my characters decisions and beliefs to the brink of one might call dangerous. I am also always up for some 1 on 1 time with the characters if they want to talk IC (either in chat or in session) to explore their characters feelings. DM: Although a big influence on my tabletop journey has been informed by Critical Role and other actual plays, I know rarely anybody is a Matthew Mercer or Brennan Lee Mulligan. But I appreciate a slower pace although a bigger narrative is also appreciated, if it's well thought out and not too flat. Generally I appreciate a mix of narrative driven urgency, sprinkled with instances of Sandbox, where characters can explore their personal goals/beliefs/revenge fantasies. If you have any question on what my favourite media are that inspire a lot of my characters choices, or what my personal highlight of a sessions was, I will accomodate you! Please do not hesitate to ask!!! I am an open book as a person.

Hi everyone! I'm a literature and RPG nerd who works as a teacher during the day and studies history and Nordic languages on the side. I have a small makerspace at home where my 3D printers hum along daily. As an arts and crafts teacher, I make a lot of different things day-to-day and always try to stay creative. I've DM'ed for a few years, but got a bit burned out on it, so we'll see if I run a game again sometime in the future. Right now, I'd really just love to be a player if anyone needs one. Hi! Hi! Been wearing the GM hat exclusively for a bit too long and I am currently game-less save for Play-by-Discord games. The PbD game in question is in a Westmarches-like living world campaign shared with many other players, and so I'd be interested in smaller, more deciated groups. Preferrably for real-time games via FoundryVTT or other virtual tabletop environment. I've been playing TTRPGs for over a decade now. Though my focus has been on Pathfinder 1st and 2nd edition, I have played games of OSR, Dungeon Crawl Classics, Inspectrers and Dungeon World. As I write this I am looking longingly at my Cairn 2e, Ironsworn, and Blades in the Dark books that I am yet to use. I own and am quite familiar with Foundry. My mic is pretty good (need it for my job so I use it every day), and have a decent internet connection and PC. I also own Tabletop simulator and am familiar with owlbear rodeo. I am sure I can learn any other medium you might use to play the game. Lately I have been playing solo games both in Pathfinder and other systems, from which I've learned how wonderful it is to ask questions to the dice and see where things take you. This is to say I am developing a penchant for improvisation and diagetic progression. I prefer role-play heavy over mechanics, though I'd prefer to play in a well-defined system, whether by the book or homebrew. Not interested in disorganized or make it up as you go systems. Once I am comfortable with a given system, I'd be happy to take turns as GM/DM. I'm open to all sorts of groups and players. Sexual orientation, gender identity, race, etc., don't matter to me as much as a good group of like-minded individuals. If it matters to you, I am a cis hetero male, atheist, liberal, but what does that have to do with a role playing game, anyway? Real life personalities/preferences are best left at the door. Age of group members is not as important as maturity. It's fun to be silly on occasion, but I don't enjoy it as a regular modus operandi. Prefer adventure-driven campaigns that focus on questing and discovery. Prefer fantasy/swords and sorcery systems, but willing to explore other systems if the group is right. Not interested in war games, but open to the occasional board game night as a change of pace. My availability for the time being is mostly Wednesday evenings, Friday evenings, and pretty much any time on the weekends as part of a regular schedule or with a few days' notice. I’m in search of a new campaign, any setting classics, entirely new concept, high fantasy, low fantasy, homebrew, or by the book, I don’t care. Prefer DND 5E 2024, but I'm willing to play 2014 version, Daggerheart, PF2E, or similar feeling games, though I'd need time to learn PF2E or anything I didn't list specifically. Hey! I'm Wren, I'm a pretty experienced TTRPG player who unfortunately had to leave my previous games when I moved abroad for university, so I'm looking for some new ones. I'm studying Linguistics and Anthropology, I speak 7 languages (EN, NL, FR, CSB, DE, JP, LA) and I love cooking/baking, reading, hiking and playing the flute. I tend to like more social-based, political, mysterious and investigative campaigns with more of a focus on roleplay and developing interesting and interactive relationships with NPCs and PCs alike. As someone who's done theatre and improv since I was a child, I'm very comfortable inhabiting lots of different characters and archetypes and I never play just one sort of personality type. Taking centre stage and thinking on my feet come very naturally to me too, and I always make sure to keep roleplay grounded in the setting and context. I prefer to play a supporting role in terms of combat though, as I love seeing the combined actions of myself and my party members form something greater than the sum of its parts. Teamwork is really cool :D Also I'm queer, not really into labels but my pronouns are they/them.
