Hey! I'm a new D&D player, having played just a few live sessions, though I'm looking for something a bit more long-term. I would like to say that I am quite comfortable with the system (of D&D) and Forgotten Realms despite not having played that much. That probably comes from enjoying things like Baldur's Gate, Honor Among Thieves, and the Critical Role campaigns just to name the most recent.  What I'm looking for in a game is people willing to take it both a bit serious and not too seriously at the same time, if that makes sense. I'm not picky about what split of RP/exploration/combat and am willing to try most things out, but a healthy balance would probably be best. I've got the 5e 2024 edition , so would primarily want to play that. I'm "older" with a family and a job with irregular hours which means I can't join on a fixed time/day each week, so hoping that can be accomodated. Hope to see ya!
