Hi guys! I'm looking to run a campaign that has the mechanics of DND 5E, but more so reflavored. Down below i'll post a little blurb on the campaign's overview that Ive written. Currently im looking for 3-4 more players(preferably 21 and over), and sessions will be starting at 630 or so CST, and they will run every other week! Dates are pending at the moment, so I can take into account what would fit best for the group at large. Things that I will be using are Roll20 and DND&Beyond, and I can't wait to create this amazing story with y'all.  Campaign Overview: The year is high in the Golden Era, and the city of Gilded Hollow gleams like a jewel in the dusk. Streetlamps flicker to life as day drapes itself into night; enchanted bulbs drift lazily through the sky on invisible currents, casting warm halos over cobblestone streets. Music—for some, jazz; for others, something older—thrums in the air like a heartbeat. Arcane-infused cocktails glow in crystal glasses, advertisements wink and whisper as you pass— promising evenings of wonder, indulgence, and escape. But beneath the lacquered floorboards of the age of indulgence, something rotten comes to light. Bright facades peel back to reveal ugly truths. Old hungers—long thought buried—gnaw at the foundations of the city. Spells meant to amuse begin to misfire. Shadows move without their owners. The dead, it seems, have grown restless in their graves. The illusion cracks the night that Miss Lila Vayne, a beloved flapper and rising star, vanishes mid-performance at The Velvet Veil—a notorious speakeasy famed for its enchanted shows and its… less reputable clientele. In the wake of her disappearance, rumors ignite like matchheads: ghosts dancing across mirror-glass, phantom jazz bands playing songs no living musician remembers, and whispers of an ancient pact woven into the founding of Gilded Hollow itself. Something old has awakened, and something powerful wants it kept quiet. And this is where you—adventurer, detective, mercenary, scholar, or unlucky bystander—enter the story. Hired, pressured, or lured by forces unknown, you arrive in the city to investigate Miss Vayne’s disappearance. Instead, you uncover a world behind the world: a decaying undercity of forgotten spirits, cursed magic, and power-hungry elites desperate to let sleeping ghosts lie. But ghosts do not lie still forever. And something in Gilded Hollow is beginning to wake.

[Gametime: Mondays 10AM PST - 2PM PST - Cant Believe there's not a spot for this] Hello everyone, I am Stacatto, and I may be your new DM! I am running a heavily modified version of Lost Mine of Phandelver, heavily modified enough that at this point the group is mostly off script completely. There are references and area names that remain the same, the same basic story framework, but at this point the majority of the remaining content is custom. That said, if you ARE interested in playing the module in the future without spoilers, this may not be the game for you. Spoilers to follow for Lost Mine of Phandelver in the following paragraph: “After the hard fought defense against a siege on Phandalin that cost many homes and many lives, The party finds themselves frantically searching for a new plan of action. They have found the Entrance to Wave Echo Cave, the supposed home of the Forge of spells, but they don't know how to enter. This is a problem they share with 'The Widow' a villain who grows ever more frantic and violent by the day. Do they try to beat her in the race to the forge, or find her lair and take care of the threat before she does even more irreparable harm?” After this short adventure I plan to open up the campaign and make it about YOU, the players, or more specifically, your characters. With that in mind, strong roleplaying is a must. This doesn't mean putting on a voice, but it does mean that you act in character as much as possible, make your decisions based upon what they would do, not what you would do. Because of this, I'd prefer experienced players to new players, but this isn't a hard-set rule. The party has been playing for quite a while now and have all reached level 4 (which is where you will begin as well). The party currently consists of a Half-Elf Rogue, a Human Divination Wizard, A Bugbear Rune Knight Fighter, a Dhampir Oath of Vengeance Paladin, and a Dhampir Hexblade Warlock. I would prefer players don't double up on classes so everyone gets to have their own special roles. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Scheduling & Table Expectations: We play (almost) every Monday from 10am to 2pm PST. I am a stickler for people taking this block of time seriously. There will be seven of us who all set aside time to play this game and create this story, if you can't routinely be present during this time slot, don't bother applying. On that note, this little group of ours has become pretty tight knit. Respect is a much, friendliness is even better. We don't want players with main character syndrome or who talk over or try and play FOR others. We have all become friends above table as well as in game, and I think we would all like for the newest member of the group to slot into that dynamic as well. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The type of game I like to run: I'd ultimately like this to be a very character focused game. I have played at other tables where full sessions can occur without the 'plot' moving forward because the party is getting to know each other or creating their own little adventures. This is gold to me. I am a very character motivated person, and I hope that you will be too! I'd like to make the game challenging, but fair both in and out of combat. Your characters will gain a reputation, and their actions will have consequences, both good and bad. Tonally, I am a very jokey person, and am assuming comedy is going to be a big part of the game, both above table and in character, but there is a time and place for everything, Melodrama is something I also enjoy, and I will not be shying away from dark, R-Rated, topics in my games. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ If you got his far and you are interested in applying please follow the link to the games page on roll20: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/434032/your-lost-mine-of-phandelver-and-beyond Please make sure you check the rules post before applying, there are very important things listed there that will help you decide if this is truly the game for you. I will be running the game on roll20 and playing over Discord for voice. If you have any questions feel free to ask them through DMs or on the Questions post!

https://discord.gg/2F4qCuxmg ** scheduled time will be set after player interest, but leaning towards a Saturday or sunday * its a progression story that will evolve starting with the current year.  Faces and places are merely coincidence :3 ** starting location is the American Midwest It started on a humid Friday afternoon in late may 2026, in the back warehouse of Express Auto Salvage & Parts, the family company. Teenage friends/family—(players)—had spent months secretly building Prime: a hulking, mismatched tank pieced together from junkyard scrap. Armed with homemade smoke and incendiary launchers, jury-rigged drones, and a few scavenged fire axes, she was ugly, loud, and theirs. The group had been gifted with a unique and fantastic ability, Clan Hall.  Before them appeared a simple blue screen with certain details and tabs on it.  This ability registered them as elders and gave them access to certain abilities and capabilities. This included quests that earned them clan points, which at the moment didn't have much use except for fueling an ability discovered in the tab named Portal. Most of the quests were related to the construction of the tank and preparation for opening a portal, the rules seemed straight forward.  An opened portal would only last 15 seconds opened, it would open to a random world, and any previously visited world would be registered and could be revisited. That Friday, the last day of school, they decided to go through and open the portal for the first time.

I am currently running a PBP game set in Rune Midgard, the world of Ragnarok online using SWADE system.  I am not using the SWPF. I am translating the game powers/skills from each class to a class edge in the SWADE format. My plan is to run everyone together but since it's faster to go 1 on 1, I am doing 1 on 1 games and if the character is in the same location of the other one, they go together. I ask you to at least post once a day minimum.

Greetings! I am running a One Piece D&D 5e game, where the players are playing as Marines. I currently have two players(1 Male, 1 Female), and we're looking for one more player to join our ranks since we have lost our third game. The system we're using is a 5E mod that you can find here: One Piece PDF I like to create a lot of custom content and make a few changes from the PDF, as well as create a lot of custom lore that you would not find in a regular One Piece Setting. There are no canon characters. Luffy will not be running around, for example. I tend to run quite a bit of combat in my games to accompany the story. I also tend to create DMPCS that may be part of the crew/squad. My expectations of you: I expect you to show up on time on a weekly basis and be an active participant. Of course emergencies happen, but if you know that you typically have obligations or situations that arise that will prevent you from playing weekly, DO NOT APPLY! We will be using Foundry VTT for maps and dicerolling and Discord for communication. I will be running the game on Wednesdays during 'european evenings', at 7 PM GMT+1. For Americans, this would roughly be your noon depending on where you are :D A bit about myself: I go by Tenken, and I'm an avid video gamer, writer and generally nerdy guy and tend to get along with most people! I have a lot of free time outside regular working hours, so scheduling probably won't be an issue from my side. Link to google form: Link to the form

Homebrew Homebrew
Roleplay focused Roleplay focused
Hey everyone! Not too long ago I was gifted the Kinks and Cantrips 5e D&D book, and I’ve picked up other similarly themed homebrew content here and there across the internet. I want to run a campaign using some of this content in a homebrew world, and so it will obviously have to be NSFW and 18+. If you’d be interested in that, please read my campaign pitch, and fill out the Google Form! I hope to get around 6 players, and we’ll meet bi-weekly on Mondays from 8:30 to 11:30pm EST. I’m keeping applications open until Sunday the 15th, although I may message a few individuals before then if their character pitches are really good. The party will be level 10 heroes, incredibly powerful people who will have access to castles, gold, magic items, and buckets of backstory, which we’ll work on together, because that’s one of my favorite parts of DMing! You’ll have access to all of the 5e subclasses, anything from the YouTuber Pointy Hat (I might be using some of his races), and lots of subclasses and races from the Kinks and Cantrips book. I’m pulling lore from lots of places and writing a lot of my own, so keep your idea bare-bones until we hash out all of the details together! Here’s some information on the available races for you if you’d like it: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1FQbC-nh5q9N9piRdyNa6Rc9ZhqNg9Anh1z1SSBOtlPI/edit?usp=sharing On the continent of Sacramus, the seven kingdoms and the peoples of the westerlands live not in peace, but in quiet. Think Discworld, but everyone is much hornier. All societies are basically matriarchal, and most people worship the ten goddesses of the Five Pointed Star, as divinity is feminine. Bisexuality is the norm, although all sexualities are accepted. Half-elves abound, although humans still have the highest population, and magic is commonplace. Dwarves, who all have beards, rarely leave their underground kingdoms, while the Fae and the Vampires hold court in their palaces taxing their lessers. The dragons do not attack as long as their tribute is paid, although they will frequently fight adventurers and kidnap princesses for fun. Wizards are respected for their power and intellect, and witches even more so since they aren’t afraid of demons as often. Goblins are a hermaphroditic species, and serve anyone more powerful then them. Buxom giants roam the countryside, gobbling up livestock and any travelers that look appetizing. Everyone is indulging in hedonism whenever they aren’t engaging in violence, and most normal people aren’t very violent. Throughout the campaign, expect to run into sex, kink, action, romance, and everything in between. While slavery, and other dark topics may be present, I don’t plan on delving deeply into the morality of anyone’s actions, and the tone will be kept light and jovial for almost all of the game. I hope we all have fun! Here is the Google Form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSff7mTBbXrYZTScEbcK6cr413QzlJAnGsWs0Xh_lLrIq6jwxw/viewform?usp=header

If you do not like 3rd party content, this game is not for you. Legendary Planet is a science-fantasy 3rd party Pathfinder campaign that runs from level 1 to level 20. The story begins with a mysterious alien signal that should not exist… and from there the adventure expands outward into strange worlds, ancient lost civilizations, alien technology that feels like magic, and mysteries that grow into cosmic-scale threats. This campaign will be using gestalt characters and Spheres of Power, eitr, hero points, allowing flexible and creative builds while keeping the focus on exploration, discovery, and collaborative storytelling. This recruitment is for Book 1/Prologue: The Assimilation Strain, the opening chapter of the Legendary Planet Adventure Path. I’m a new GM and am looking for players who are comfortable with Pathfinder 1e and able to manage their characters independently while helping create a supportive and collaborative table atmosphere. Players are expected to understand their own character abilities and mechanics during play. Applications are done through a short form, and players will be selected based on group fit.  https://forms.gle/8nwQFM8goRLvZkVf7 Game will be starting on March 27th, at 8pm EST

Hi all! Lovely to meet you. My name is Caleb and I might be your new GM. Sundered is the name for my new campaign setting, which I am hoping to flesh out with a multi-shot with you. 3-6 sessions is most likely for this. Looking for players who prioritize staying in character. - I am a lenient DM with character backstory vibes and like a good, dark, even traumatized backstory. But whatever your character has going on, you must be wanting and willing to play with the group and for the collective objective. - we are prioritizing diverse applications. we have a mixture of identities and backgrounds in our group. We're looking for 2 players at this time! Please register your interest using the Google Form link. I will reach out to anyone who feels like they might fit the group dynamic to discuss further. Thanks! >> Google Form Link << The hook (brief): In the year 13,912, the first piece of land broke away. Now, exactly one year later, cracks have started to form across every single continent. The only land spared, it seems, is the floating city of Uthrika, but those cranky old birds wouldn't tell us land-dwellers if they had discovered a third moon. Nobody knows what to do. They're calling it "The Sundering," and the churches are spiralling out of control. Reports from all continents have been rolling in, confirming what we know: land is sinking. But that's not all. Some land is rising! Rising! At this rate, young Prince Lahdah'han won't have a title to inherit... King Rath'un is sending that group of elites out next week. The Ebony Riders. They're usually dispatched when there are critical threats on our doorstep, but now he's sending them out to investigate one of the cracks. It runs straight through the Raindrop, that blasted jungle. The black wyverns won't get very far on the ground out there, but my advice fell on deaf ears. Rath'un knows what he's doing. I hope. You are an Ebony Rider: one of the kingdom's elite wyvern riders. Whatever brought you to this kingdom, your skills and loyalty earned you a place in King Rath'un's best. Together with your fellow riders, you are tasked to investigate where the land has split through Raindrop jungle. You have been given full authority to handle any threats how you see fit. The only specific order he has given you is to make sure you return to him.

Looking for new players or beginners looking for a fun group without heavy commitments! [D&D 5e 2014/2024] Hello! I am looking for players who have played a few sessions or are just starting to learn about D&D 5e. This is a new server that focuses on a more Adventurer's Guild-style campaign.  There are a few parties in this campaign, and their actions affect the world! A few players who do not have consistent parties are about to jump into sessions freely without the need for hard commitments. Although this server is for newer players, we also welcome experienced players who can help the new recruits. We focus on learning the basics, role-playing, and enjoying dynamic combat. I am currently on EST time zone, so my sessions run on Wednesdays, and Sunday morning or Sunday afternoon. Sessions are $20 for drop-in/one shots and $25 for consistent campaigns ***Session 0 and first session is free to make sure that you enjoy my DMing style. Here is a preview of a one-shot for the campaign: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmlsqtrrk03wdl104q6i4xs8t?ref=cml4zqp7j000cky04nmotgibj Games are hosted via Discord, DNDBeyond, and Abovevtt

Pick an animal from the savannah or jungle. You are one of a few hundred animalfolk in a nascent bronze-age hillfort, built at the apex of a secluded forest delta. The hillfort is overseen by a prefect representing the ruthless pigfolk empire. He enforces the law of King Smorgon the Ravenous, but otherwise allows the town to develop freely. The town was prepared to pay tribute to the king, but bandits have stollen their treasure. The bravest in the hillfort must either track the bandits down, or amass new wealth before the tax is due. Evil Campaign, take over the city, every other Sat

Homebrew Homebrew
Combat focused Combat focused
I'm finally running a proper evil campaign for my players, and we have an open spot. Conspire with the party, figure out what you want to do, take over the city (or destroy it, or eat it). The city will try to stop you from taking over. Don't piss off too many factions until you're strong enough to accomplish your goals. We play in-person in Kirkland (Seattle area) every other Saturday from 5-10pm. Evil Campaign starts as soon as the current campaign wraps up, tentatively starts Saturday May 16. About 13th Age: 13th Age is a d20 RPG designed by a lead designer of D&D 3e and a lead designer of D&D 4e. It takes gamey combat with plenty of character options and blends it with free-flowing narrative mechanics. We are playing with the 2nd Edition rules (which are almost identical to the 1st Edition rules, but with a few tweaks). Both 1E and 2E class options are allowed (other than a handful of very overpowered options). My campaign is about 75% combat and about 25% everything else (roleplay, social, investigation, puzzles, etc). The overall campaign tone will be serious, but some sub plots can be silly, and 4th wall breaks and pop culture references are common. This campaign will also be primarily player driven. The players will decide on the party goal, individual character arcs and character goals, and downtime goals. During Session Zero, the players will build their characters and backstories together to make sure everybody's goals works together narratively. Send me a private message if you're interested. Thanks! This RPG group is committed to being a safe space for LGBT folk and for people of all races, ethnicities, genders, gender identities, and sexual orientations.

-18+     -2-4 Players*     -up to 2x Weekly Campaign     -Expected to last up to 8 weeks     -2-3 hour sessions     -Discord voice, Roll20     -Sundays and Wednesdays at 8pm US central *Core players are set, if you would like to try it out as a one shot, you can join for a game and then decide if you'd like to stay. Homebrewed to perfection. -Armor tweaks for combat -After taking a wound you only get back half your HP -New weapons, gear, items for the setting -Mech rules adapted from Gordinaak and expanded upon -New classes Paimon II The harsh planet of Paimon II is a hellscape. Coca Cola, Osidiro Empirical, and Golidtor arms are some of the major players vying for control. Rich with oil, precious metals, and its position outside of a POWER's reach, no government has control here. The rings that orbit the planet are untouched, for those who attempted to recover them discovered wonderfully new life forms that made sure they did not report their findings. On the Eastern side of the Caidorin continent lies the un-zone. Ships fight to get away, animals fight beloved owners that dare lead them near it, and satellites decommission themselves over it. Having lighter gravity than average, mechs are employed heavily. They are used interchangeably with more standard infantry support vehicles. Often no taller than 2 stories nor wider than a big street, urban warfare proliferates across the globe. Note: Mechs here are often bipedal with no torso, just a cockpit with weapons mounted around it. Mechs with arms exist but are often more expensive due to the maintenance and complexity. Setting All companies import civilians to replace those lost in their corporate wars. The masses are led by a deceitful carrot, their prize harsh lives where they swim in useless precious materials. Silicon, Gold, and Titanium are used as currency, where only the corps regulate and use them to their potential. You are a mercenary, no better than a dog. Pilot, anti-armor unit, or soldier, you fight to survive. Whether you were born here or brought here, tickets out of here are rare and expensive... In the northern isles of Paimon II exist mines that cover entire landmasses. Recently, rumors have begun to spread that the corporations have dug too deep, too greedily, unearthing ancient beings. Fortunately the company rep assured you that those claims are false. You're simply being sent to quell bust some unions and safeguard the mines. You'll be paid the usual and work alongside their soldiers. Hmm, apparently a wide range of mercenary companies are also being hired to deploy in the area... Contract missions Players will be free to accept contracts where they'd wish. Their actions will effect their standings with the different companies and allow them to shape the war. Think armored core. Players can be mech pilots, anti-armor units, or supporting soldiers, each will have their place in every mission. Combat between them can be described as a rock-paper-scissors. Preparation for all combat will be important as lethality is maintained for all groups. Ambushes, tactics, and clever ideas will be necessary to get that high score. Players could even reject missions a session and go out on their own, but doing so will be expensive. Background events will continue and be shaped by decisions. Maybe one company prevails, maybe they are all defeated, maybe something terrible happens to everyone. Join and see! Please respond to the following if interested: You do not have to answer question 2 if intersted as a one shot.     -Do you have a computer with a good microphone and good connection? (also noise cancelling or a quiet background to not distract others)     -Would you be willing to do shorter sessions of 1-2 hours more than once a week?     -Confirm that you could show up reliably to sessions.     -What character would you like to play?

Wysteria 3.0 Presents: The Tournament of Realms

Homebrew Homebrew
Playtest Playtest
The Tournament of Realms is a competitive playtest of my TTRPG system, Wysteria a d10 dice-pool game built around Action Points, modular spellcrafting, scalable gear crafting, and layered defenses using Dodge, Block, Shield Points, and Hit Points. Success is determined by rolling d10s, rewarding specialization, preparation, and creative builds. In this playtest event, players enter a deadly centennial tournament hosted by the Immortal Dracolich Kazuul who emerges once every 100 years hosting a tournament of the strongest in the land. Contestants earn Prestige by completing objectives, surviving encounters, winning duels, uncovering secrets, and manipulating the political landscape of the arena. Magic is undiscovered and yet there are ways to flow with it, like The Cults, The Divine and The Arcane to name a few. Participants will fight against each other in sanctioned duels, team fights, sponsor fights and unsanctioned rival clashes, fight alongside each other in shifting alliances to overcome monsters, hazards, and faction threats and engage in espionage, sabotage, and information warfare to undermine competitors and steal advantages. Only those who accumulate enough Prestige may challenge the immortal king. Defeat him, and you are crowned the next Kingslayer, inheriting both the wish and the consequences that follow. System: Wysteria 3.0 Playtest Tools: Discord, Google Docs, and Roll 20 Schedule: To be discussed with the party when we have everyone. There will also be activities available for play by post if you wish to have a one on one session or anything of the such with the GM. We can accomadate timezone differences. Seats: we need a minimum of 1 people to a max of 5. All seats are currently open and we will tell you if so otherwise. We can accomate more players if needed. Game: There will be a session 0 where the GM will explain the expectations. I would recommend having a concept or a hint of one but it is not needed. The Document with the system will be provided upon request or when accepted into the game. "If you wish to read or talk in call the I will gladly do so to help." - Potato, The GM Themes: Flexible Fantasy Tournament Setting set across many environments and terrain with a Dark Fantasy tone, with similar vibes to Mortal Kombat. Safety Tools: Session 0, Pregame chat, any concerns may be told to the GM so they can put it on the restricted list if your selected to join.

A very iconic DND adventure, where the players will get to unravel some secret plots done by Cult of Dragons and stop Queen of Dragons from Awakening. It will be run with some homebrewed changes, as I do believe this being one of the oldest modules in DND 5e, some changes can add more fun, as well as balancing for a lot of the new subclasses, abilities and items both players and DM have at their disposal. I usually aim for about 3 hour sessions and charge 5 usd per hour, so 15 USD per 3 hour sessions. Looking to find at least 2 more people for the game to start ! Homebrew Star Wars 5e Campaign

Homebrew Homebrew
LGBTQ+ friendly LGBTQ+ friendly
Background: I and a few friends are looking to start a homebrew Star Wars tabletop campaign, this will take place during the clone wars on a custom planet that is embroiled in its own conflict. This will be a semi-serious campaign that is focused heavily on role-play and narrative with themes of resistance, political intrigue, and occasional light-hearted moments. I myself have been regularly playing DND 5e for about 5 years as a player, although I am a bit newer to DM'ing in case that is a dealbreaker for anyone. Technical Stuff: We will be using the SW5e system, an open-source project that is very similar to 5e, experienced 5e players will likely have little trouble adapting. We will play on FoundryVTT using the SW5e mod for ease and voice chat over discord, Mic required, camera is not. LGBT+ friendly and we are only looking for players 21+. Starting Level: 1 Length: This campaign will likely take the better part of a year to complete and I am expecting players to go through levels 1-7 during the course of the campaign. Scheduling: The exact time hasn't been decided yet but I've narrowed it down to sometime over the weekend, will likely go with a poll once the final group is made-up. Sessions are expected to last 3.5 to 4 hours and we expect roughly 90% attendance. I'm hoping for a party size of at least 5 and we do plan to still run sessions if only 1 person is missing. Premise: During the height of the clone wars the galaxy is embroiled in conflict as both the separatists and the republic consolidate as much power and resources as possible to remain the victor in this dispute. Your character's origin and motivations are fully up to you. Your PC and the rest of the party are tasked with a simple job: deliver a high value, confidential package to a trusted source on the planet Nerodia. You will be paid well for both efficiency and discretion, and the payday for this job is too big to ignore. To the average person, not much is known about Nerodia, but to the republic and the trade federation they are infamous as one of the biggest producers of Tibanna Gas, a key source of starship fuel in the war effort. It's also a planet ripe with exploitation that is undergoing its own power-struggle. This story will have themes of hope, resistance, and overcoming insurmountable odds. Final Thoughts: We're looking for people passionate about Star Wars, role-play and narrative. Ideally what I'd like from my players is open and honest communication and a willingness to put yourself out there. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out!! If this sounds like something you'd be interested in please fill out this Google Interest Form

The game time would be between 6PM and 9PM or 7PM to 10PM. I'm open to having newcomers or veterans join. The game is meant to be a nice after-work activity with a mix of roleplaying and combat. I can DM or be a player as I'm pretty flexible, I only advertise as DM because I know most people prefer being players :P If you want to join, reply here or hit me up on Discord, you can look for sdupere. Salt & Ash: Playtesters Needed!

Playtest Playtest
Our Loving Mother weeps. From beneath our seas to her shores, the Empire of the Sky has sunk its fangs into her heel, glutting itself on her lifeblood. Her children starve as her skin blanches bone-white, her rivers bleed iron-red, and her valleys and peaks carved out, abscessed and cratered. Left to fester under roaming foreign hands. Each hour the Enemy remains on her shores, seven souls are taken. Since the Accord, countless more have been ground and fed to their bottomless hunger For half a lifetime we have suffered these leeches at our breast. Half a lifetime too long. Brothers and sisters, our Mother cries out for help still. Her voice grows hoarse and ever weary. Will you answer her call with righteous war? Or will her voice fall silent on a coward's ears? — translated from a Khejjaran pirate transmission Every Burning leaves Ash in it's wake. Empires are no different. The skies above Almezár were aglow with cooling embers, amber-pale and baleful as the dusky silhouettes of the sky-cities of the Impérié l'Azhar Sedarié drifted far far, above the din of tumultuous revolt below. It has been 120 years since foreign soles first sullied the Kejjiri-jiim. What began as a fool's failed expedition ended with the world powers learning a land untouched by the Maelstrom existed. A vast, untouched expanse of fertile earth. One only needed the gall to lay claim. Ports and ship-lifts rose where cliffs faces were carved into and incised. Railways penetrated the Black Plateau to better feed the torrential flow of trade exports through the port cities. The earth was hollowed to sate the Empire’s appetite for riches, for industry, for war, for earth, for blood. In time, the Khej were hollowed out or uprooted from their land, too. Almezár was never meant to be permanent. At its best it was a penal colony installed for the express purpose of pushing the Khej into the Badlands, at its worst, a den for criminals, deviants, outlaws and dissidents. Now it stands proud in the wastes, swollen with settlers, soldiers, freedmen and slave alike, and of course the ever-present criminal element that birthed the city, all eking out an existence on earth so razed it no longer bears fruit, all beneath a sky that did not belong to them. Yet during this particular dusk the people sing late into the night. They spill ballads off slurring tongues and bellow from throats wet with wine, for Almezár's High Overseer is dead. And beneath those distant heavens, the Nujh-smoke of war rises from the flickering embers of revolt. Now that the hooks over... Hi, the name's Chrys, Me and my partner Viv are looking to playtest a personal project with some other creatives (that would be you) and see how well the rules hold up and to see if the gameplay is compelling enough to warrant a full write-up and post the system publicly on [itch.io](http://itch.io) or something so people can use in their own PBP games. It'll be a one-shot over 5 session (10 hours max), though if everyone's still interested and willing I'm not against transitioning it into a longer campaign. So what's the game like? Praxis, is a rules-light story engine focused on pushing your characters to evolve and change over the course of a campaign, and hopefully end up with a memorable story you can look back on wistfully. There's elements of deck building, JRPG-style turn based combat and therefore a measure of tactics in Praxis, but overall the rules for this playtest are simple enough to be taught in 10 minutes tops during session zero. Details(AKA:TLDR): It's a 5 session one-shot where you get to play as either insurgents, mercenaries, or gunrunners caught in the chaos of a country on the brink of civil war. You've gots to be 21+ dawg. You'll have to fill out a super brief form at the end of each week and jot down your thoughts/critiques/suggestions regarding the session. Invites are to be sent out on the 3rd of March. Session zero by the 7th. And if all goes well, Session one is set for the 10th. Synchronous sessions will be hosted on Discord, twice every week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from the 10th-24th of March. Each session will be 2 hours max, at a time (TBD) between 2PM to 8PM GMT. Also, super important. There is a list of themes this campaign will be exploring, so please make sure to read through the first page of the application form before applying. Full information about the playtest can be found in the application form.

I’m looking for players to join my Curse of Strahd campaign. I run multiple tables, but right now I’m especially trying to fill three: • Sunday at 11 PM EST (4 players currently) • Friday at 10:30 am central  (1) This campaign means a lot to me. Curse of Strahd was the first campaign I ever played in, and now I’m finally getting to run it start to finish. I’ve put a ton of time, care, and love into making this something really special for the people at my table. We’re using the Reloaded version of the module along with premium assets and tools like Syrinscape, James RPG Art, Bardify, DM Andy, and more. I’m doing everything I can to make this a high-quality, immersive Foundry experience. If this sounds even remotely interesting, I’d love to talk. I’m passionate about this world and would be excited to have you at the table. Sessions are $15 and typically run 4–5 hours. TL;DR • I’m Clay — nice to meet you • $15 per session • Currently filling Sunday 5 PM & 11 PM EST tables • High-quality assets, immersive setup • 4–5 hour sessions • Curse of Strahd: Reloaded • Must have a stable internet connection  • must have a mic.  •18+

Osu! I'm Loke! I'm an amateur desginer and TTRPG aficionado trying to develop a Battle Manga TTRPG based on Dragon Ball, with plans to expand on the future. I'm in need of people to help me bounce ideas and playtest them! All levels of experience are welcomed! Game Features: - Dice Pool & Success ("Hit") Based [1d6 => 4 = 1 Hit] - Trait System. They establish facts and modify rolls by adding or subtracting Hits - Dynamic Action Resolution. Action resolution is divided into 4 Phases or Acts, simulating the Ki-Sho-Ten-Ketsu storytelling frame of asian literature and the paneling of a manga page - Adventure, Battle & Train. The game will be divided in three "play modes" to better simulate the different types of events and activities our heroes have to overcome in the manga, and how they progress and evolve as fighters. [5e 2024][Kent, WA] Sundays 1PM – Tahala: City of Eagles (Pirates & Dinosaurs) Two seats are open in Tahala: City of Eagles, an in-person D&D campaign using the 2024 Core Rules. We are a group that prioritizes roleplay, tactical fun, and the Rule of Cool. The Hook You are Level 5 "pirates with a conscience." You stole the Golden Lion ship, rescued 20 refugees, and crash-landed on the dinosaur-infested Mesika Cay. The Stakes: The Lion Navy is hunting you across the jungle. The Mystery: Ancient bone temples and a pulsing dragon egg that shouldn't exist. The Vibe: Bold calls, character-driven choices, and building a legend. The Party (Level 5) Orthez: Paladin who smites with style. Balbarum: Tank who freezes problems. Bones: Ninja monk ghosting fools. Raven: Broom-riding chaos wizard. Seeking: 1-2 players. Bards, Artificers, Rangers, or Rogues fit the crew well, but we value character vibe over party "roles." New players are welcome; we have pregens ready to go. Session Details When: Sundays, 1 PM – 5 PM PST. Where: Wizard's Keep Games, Kent, WA. Format: In-person. Physical maps and minis for combat, theater of the mind for exploration. System: 5e (2024 rules). Table Rules & Style Experience: I am a veteran DM. I run a mix of deep roleplay and tactical fights with creative twists. Age: 18+ only. Humor: Adult humor is welcome, but we keep it chill. No "edgelord" behavior. Safety: Lines and veils are in place. No PvP or griefing. DM Style: Rule of Cool > RAW. If it’s cinematic and fits your character's story, we make it happen. How to Join Comment below or DM me with your character "vibe" and your TTRPG experience level. If it feels like a good fit, I'll send you the Discord link so you can check out the #pregens channel and our lore archives. We’ll set up a trial Sunday slot to see if you enjoy the table! What's your character vibe? Let's roll!

I'm putting together a beta playthrough for a game of my own design. It's a d6 system. And very witchy/supernatural based. I focus heavily on story and character development. So far it's looking like Sunday is the best day to play. But, I'm willing to work with people. I'm looking for expert and newbie players. Everyone is welcome! Edit: we are playing during the week. Between 1-2 pm CST. Day to be determined.

I have been working for 15 years on a world setting, and for 5 years on a system, on and off in my spare time. It is finally time to test it out in a full campaign. Mid to high fantasy setting (black powder weapons do exist) Single Die system, everything is decided with a d20 with no extra rolls required. Looking for 3-5 players to participate once a week in a long campaign (shooting for multiple months or longer if everyone is having a good time and the system holds up) Classless-ish system highly customizable characters with players being able to use a template to design abilities. Will most likely use MapTools for the Campaign. Players Guide Available. Map Available. Further information available of course if there is interest. Hope all good luck and high rolls in all their endeavors, and hopefully at least a few of you are willing to give something new a shot.

Scifi & Sigil: A genre mixed multiverse adventure

I love planescape, but I also love pathfinder and Golarion- starfinder too, so I thought why not bring them together? Welcome to my version of Sigil and by proxy, the multiverse.  If you have nothing about Sigil or planescape, read about it here https://mimir.net/ its the base skeleton of this game. If you are looking to play a game that's genre bending, mixing elements of high fantasy and far flung scifi, horror, noir, and weird pulp comics then look no further! Become a berk in the city of doors, where everything in the multiverse converges, usually to crush you under foot. Imagine typical planescape cosmology, mixed with stuff from pathfinder and starfinder; while we play in the pf2e system, expect to see high tech stuff here and there. Looking for engaged roleplay focused players that like to collaborate with others to create a fun gaming experience. Don't worry plenty of interesting combat scenarios will be present too. We are currently exploring the players' backstories, and if I add you, we will work together so that you get fun story stuff too.  We play every other thursday, at 4 pst, for 3-4 hours, over discord and foundry. Currently we just had a send off for a player that had to leave due to a schedule change, leaving our group with 3 players. Everyone is level 6, with FA (but unlocked from play). We have an elf investigator, uses a gun to get crazy crits and is focused on medical sciences, chronically ill by way of genetic tampering; they have a robotic raccoon as a companion. Then there is the Fleshwarped guardian marshal, battlefield control and all around tank, they are a soulless body reanimated by a hive mind of nanites on a dead planet. Lastly our human ifrit fire/metal kineticist, aoe damage as well as single target damage, he is from a respected working class smithing family in the city but whose power comes from having a part of a minor elemental lord's soul within them. I go by Spice, hi, i'm a 30 something trans lady whos been playing ttrps for 15 years and loves the hobby.  Looking for friendly chill people that wanna have some laughs, roll some dice,  tell some stories, and explore the multiverse . Please reach out if you have more questions, cheers.

Link to apply at bottom of description.  Time and Date: MST. 3 possible days/time ranges:  Monday Bi-Weekly @ 5pm-8m Friday Weekly @ 5pm-8pm Sunday Weekly @ 2:30pm-9pm Session length: 3-4 hours average DMing style: casual, relaxed roleplay & story focused, long campaign, ≈4 years of experience Starting level: 1 Required platforms: Discord Voice, Roll20, DnD Beyond Banned Races: • Human • Dwarf • Elf • Half-Elf • Gnome • Halfling • Goblin • Hobgoblin Content warning: As given in the module; **This book explores mature themes, including sexual content, suicide, light nudity, graphic violence, and crucifixions.** Player Homebrew: Allowed with DM approval Story: The grind of heavy wheels against the gritty trail grows more tiresome with each step as you slog on, weary and parched. The loud rush of the nearby salt river mocks you, its waters undrinkable. Suddenly, the soldiers around you clutch their spears, alert. A hauntingly beautiful melody fills the air—a hymn that evokes memories of a distant home, laced with the promise of death. Then, a large rock crashes down from the treeline, killing a soldier instantly. The melody twists into shrill screeches, andthe grind of heavy wheels is replaced by the clash of steel. Minotaurs and harpies swoop in, aiming to seize the barrels of water you were sworn to protect. This is life outside of Al’Kirat, where water is precious, no road is safe, and death lurks around every corner. The setting for Sands of Doom takes place in the Torn Lands, a land devastated by a catastrophic event two thousand years ago. This calamity obliterated its inhabitants, leaving behind a cursed, desolate Wasteland. Today, it is a tainted realm filled with savage creatures, vast deserts, and the remnants of ancient civilizations. Only exiles and beasts reside here, cast out from more 'civilized' territories. The adventure begins in Kirat, a region located on the westernmost edge of the Torn Lands. In this harsh region, beastfolk and tieflings struggle for survival and control over dwindling sources of water. Meanwhile, an endless stretch of cursed dunes slowly and meticulously advances from the east, where terrifying monsters and undead wander its tainted red sands. Notes: This module is survival-heavy, days, food, water, ammunition, and spell components will all need to be tracked. Planning and preparing for the travel will be crucial, and if you dont plan well enough there very well may be consequences that come. My name is Phrough (pronounced 'Frog'), and I'm starting up a new campaign that started with the level 1-11 module Sands of Doom, and after the module is complete, it will be a homebrew adventure to level 20. I've previously DMed several 1 and 2 shots, as well as a nearly weekly 4 year long campaign that came to a close recently, and now I want to do another, if you want to know anything about me feel free to dm me with your questions. I'm looking for either 4 or 5 players for a weekly game, as I already have one from the previous campaign of mine that wants to play in this one, with my only requirement being that you are at/over the age of 18. Game time is not set in stone yet, but we are looking at it being Sunday afternoon to evening, Monday evening bi-weekly, or Friday evening as those are the times my current player is best available. If this is a game that might interest you please fill out the form attached, and I'll get back to you if I have any questions or to let you know you're accepted. This post will be open for applications up to March 13th, allowing for anyone enough time to apply to play, once the 4 or 5 are selected then a session 0 will be planned. https://forms.gle/cf8o9J5K6qmBABP59

Hi! I co-own a Discord server with a few other people that is run as a westmarch play-by-post campaign. Rather than a standard storyline with scheduled play times and sessions, we have a living world set up that allows people to play their characters how they want on their time. We have options for combat that doesn't risk death but still nets rewards like levels, in-game merit, gold, and magic items, and a guild system for quest postings that you can take on for better rewards and higher risks. We're always welcoming new players and are willing to teach people who haven't played before. We use 2014 5e and accept homebrew requests, with a staff of homebrew authors who can help bring ideas to life that RAW doesn't accomodate, as well as already having an extensive homebrew library available for use. If you're interested, you can DM me with questions or join us right now here: https://discord.gg/pJhHuSpEX7

“Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.” Hello, and thank you for clicking. I'll try not to waste your time- Looking for a GM first and foremost, potentially a couple other players! Hi! My name is Seven/Flow/Ocean. I've been RPing for a good many years now, just around 10, having started from reasonably high-literacy even at my earliest days. I pride myself on my quality and ability to match other players length as to not clog up the chat, but still expand when I need too. I've been playing TTRPG's for around 4 years now, with a hefty focus on the system in question. DND2014/5e. I've played a few others, including a cobbled together Pokemon system I and my friends made for our own purposes. I've done public play-by-posts, private games like this one online, played in long-running IRL and online games, and generally have experience with all manner of IRL and Online games! I live in the Southern states, so CST (I.e. GMT-6) with a pretty open availability for the most part.  Most games are focused on power fantasies: slay the evil, fulfill the prophecy, become the chosen hero. It's fun, of course; who doesn't enjoy feeling unstoppable? Walking into a fight knowing you're the biggest thing in the room. It's satisfying and leads to some super sick scenes- But that's not what I'm craving right now! No, today I want struggle- Not neccesarily bad endings or being snatched or taken by the villain, but friction, frustration, etc. I want to sit there counting my gold and silver and actually have to choose between taking a new weapon, or do I stock up on potions because last time nearly killed me? Manage every resource I got, between income, sleep, and time- Even so far as trying to harvest specific bits of monsters because they sell better or going out at specific times for a hunt. I want the small stuff to matter; the quiet math of survival- Choosing party members for stats, abilities, temperament, who to put my trust into. Building bonds and butting heads but trying to keep tensions down without dying. I want to feel a loss of an ally, both in emotion and mechanic. A gap. I want to survive, to have a chance, to struggle but make it out and FEEL when I don't. My immediate feelings are probably obviously fantasy stuff, low magic, that sort- I'm most familiar with DnD5e but I'm MORE than aware that it doesn't wholly work for this. Dicelite, no dice, whatever the GM wishes for! I'm down. Now, in terms of NSFW presence; I would like a little bit! Preferably not nonstop fucking, but some smut here and there would be pleasant- A way to get closer with allies, take my mind off of things, make connections to use later- Whatever really! But it does sound like it'd be nice, and honestly, fantasy ERP is lovely! I am a Male, and lean dominant, for reference, but I am also Pan. Other kinks that may come up can be discussed within the game/DMs! DM me or comment here to chat! Include 'What a struggle.' in either to show you read through it all!

Hello! My name is Nolan, I'm a DM of 7 years now, and I'm hoping to start up a game of D&D that meets at least every other week (or weekly if we can make it work!) The campaign is in a homebrew world called Cladriel, filled with unique nations, environments, and rich history for players to discover.  I run a very RP-rewarding table and a very beginner friendly table, and can provide everything from dice to a miniature if needed! Players would be starting at 5th level, and can use 2024 character creation rules or if there's remnants of 2014 5e they long for, we can make that work.  Here's the intro for the campaign to give you some idea of what to expect: "The Elven ruins stand before you, ancient and foreboding as white-gold stone intermingles with the verdant hues of overgrowth and reclamation. You were hired to find the relic within - something the ambassador called "The Well of Sin" - and bring it back to her office in Port Gibbous. The instructions she gave were unusually specific for a snatch-and-grab gig, but you couldn't refusing the whopping 1000GP she was offering. The instructions said to wait outside by the statue of Corellon for the rest of your team before heading in with the garish iron and copper key that rests in your hand. She gave no specifics on what awaited inside, only told never to place the Well in a bag of holding."

Hey guys. I'm a newer DM who finally wants to put something long-lasting together. All of my other campaigns kinda just fizzled out. I'm 21 and am looking for players 16+. I like working with friends to tell stories, so here's what I'm hoping to do. I'd like to connect over Discord and have you all send me characters and ideas about your story that I can implement. From there, I'll run an easy one-shot so we can get to know each other. Then, if our group has fun, I'll extend the campaign and write some lore. The setting will be homebrew in a fairly basic fantacy DnD style land. Homebrew characters and classes will probably be limited as I'm newer, but if you ask nice I'll see what I can do ;) Message me and let's talk about what you're looking for.

Looking for 1 to 2 players for a gritty hard mode dnd campaign. The players are currently lvl 3. The game is online using foundryvtt and discord. Let me know if you're interested. Game time: Weekly Wednesday 5pm EST til 10pm EST Total players: 5(6max) (we have 4) Module: 5e 2014 homebrew Style: roleplay heavy, horror campaign in a frontier setting where your choices will shape how the town is rebuilt. More information:  Rules im running:  ⚔️ Blackwater Homebrew Rules (Player Version) 1. Mortality & Damage Everyone can die. Be careful—no safety nets. Critical Hits are brutal with “Crunchy Crits”: roll your normal damage + max on initial die, then double the dice for added damage. Example: 2H Longsword + Smite → 1d10+10 + 2d8+2d8 Lingering Wounds: Catastrophic injuries happen. Broken limbs reduce movement or effectiveness. Lost limbs require prosthetics or magic to restore. Eye or organ damage has mechanical penalties. 2. Healing & Potions Potions: In a bag → drinking = Action Easy access (bandolier, hand, etc.) → drinking = Bonus Action Potion types: Herbal = half normal Magical = normal Charged = double normal (requires spellcaster enhancement) If you drink as an action while potion is easy access → max HP restored. Resting: Short Rest → 1d4+Con per hour can be none a number of times per day as proficiency bonus Long Rest → 3HD+Con (if sleeping outside → 1HD+Con) Resting does not fully heal. 3. Leveling & Health Health stops increasing after level 6. Class features and feats still advance normally. 4. Magic Magic is rare. Common items are almost non-existent. Item rarity is shifted: Common → Rare Uncommon → Ultra-Rare Rare → Legendary Ultra-Rare → Practically unheard of Legendary → Legendary Artifact level Artifact → does not exist Magic items have limited charges and may break when depleted. Recharging costs spell slots and takes days. Magical Exhaustion: Sacrifice 1 level of exhaustion to boost a spell by 1 level, or 3 levels to cast without a slot. Unused spell slots: Chance for wild magic (10%) or mana burn (1 damage per unused slot). 5. Combat & Mechanics No racial darkvision. All races get +1 feat instead. Inspiration: Given at Session 0 (+1), then after each session for participation in end-of-session feedback. NPC Affinity: NPCs react to your actions. Skill & Save Degrees: Rolls matter: Nat 20 = extreme success, DC+5 = great success, DC met = success, DC-5 = severe fail, Nat 1 = extreme fail. Crits on Saves & Skills: Crit Success → no damage / best outcome Crit Fail → full damage / worst outcome Flanking: Canceled if party also flanks the same target. Dying Status: Downed players are in Dying state (think Gears of War): detriments of unconscious, 5ft movement. Hidden HP & Death Saves: Players do not announce them. Breaking this rule = warning → damage. 6. Sanity & Fear All characters must have a fear. DM-approved only. Sanity Track: Horrific events → sanity checks. Nat 20 = lose 1, Nat 1 = gain 2. 6 sanity lost → risk of long-term madness. Potential for Insanity: Character goes berserk, cannot be played normally. 7. Resurrection Requires a Resurrection Challenge. Party members contribute skill checks to help. Each resurrection increases base DC by +1 for that character. Failed resurrection → “Death Curse” (quest, borrowed time, etc.). 8. Flavors & Setting Fear & Roleplay Matter: Players encouraged to embrace fears and the world’s gritty reality. Rule of Cool: Beats all other rules. Caliburn Coins: Trickster god coins can: Buy items Roll on loot tables Automatically Nat 20 once per coin (may have funny consequences) 9. Crafting, Proficiencies & Languages Proficiency Training: Spend time between adventures to learn tools, languages, or cantrips. Teacher rolls DC 15; self-study DC 20 at disadvantage. Languages: 3 custom languages exist. Players can know 1 at start (Yak-ta). 10. Survival Rations: Last 30 days. Eat 1 per long rest. Skipping → 1 level exhaustion. Fishing: Roll d20 + modifiers for rods, bait, and environment to determine catch. 11. Session Rules & Conduct Respect players. No politics, discrimination, or harassment. Hirelings available: max level < party, 2–10 gold/day. 12. Optional Rules Homebrew content must be approved. Monsters & encounters are balanced for fun, not raw book stats. Weather, crafting, and modified spells exist—ask the DM for details.

Hi! I am Moge, a passionate DM with 7+ years of experience! I am a LGBTQIA+ friendly master with multiple safety tools on my belt! We all have dreamed on living in the Pokemon world as kids, and now you can do it as an adult! Adventure, battle and both old and new stories await! The game is organized through StartPlayingGames, with a cost of $20 per session, check the post there!: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmlbcjq0h02oyjp04sjyrov6d?ref=cml74u9zj00xxk1047vfur1nd Features: Free Session 0 5+ Safety Tools Creative freedom Revamped pokemon DnD 5e system Point Buy with 32 points. 2024 rules without losing 2014 features, items, etc. LGBTQIA+ Friendly The game is set in my take of the Pokemon world. But it is not far from the original! I love pokemon's adventure, fantasy and friendliness. This setting is more grounded, with new secret organizations and regulations, but it feels as your classic pokemon world, without becoming ridiculously realistic or edgy. It is a player driven campaign that will be set in the pokemon region chosen by the party, you'll be trainers aiming for the league and will travel alongside the pokemon game's protagonist. But don't panic, you're still the stars of the show, since new additions, inspired by the anime, manga and games, makes the story a bit more complex and in desperate need of more than one hero!

Hey all, me and my buddy found an interesting system and expansion called Mythic Ages which is a faction building game based on a d100 system. We are looking for four more players in order to round the group out nicely. The premise of the ages expansion is almost mount and blade like with you running a faction in a sci-fi world (fantasy races are fine) that has gone through an apocalypse and you get to build up a faction in the ashes of the world. The system states you get a bit of interesting tech to start but for the most part your building civilization back up from the ground up. You will have a player character but the focus is on building up a faction. As for other things I should mention the entire game will be text based on discord. so the only thing required is a device with discord. We can also provide all necessary rulebooks to those unfamiliar with the system (we are pretty new ourselves). Overall we are looking for a game that we can keep going pretty casually when we have a chance via discord text so it will be consistent but shouldn't be a huge time commitment. Some other things to expect is plenty of PVP as it will be a faction based game and they will likely come into conflict with each other so but It will be expected of you to not press these issues beyond the game. As far as the content goes feel free to make evil or cruel factions as long as there is no ERP we will do fade to blacks in such situations. Note from DM: Heya! For this we are expecting alot of diplomatic engagement and exploring. Combat is an expected part of the world and as such we will be exploring that as well as the consequences of what happens after. Otherwise the world is your oyster, Want to make a faction that does nothing but farm? What are you growing? How much of it? What can you trade those for? Want to make a faction all about raiding? Who are you raiding? How violent is it? For those interested contact me via discord at war101 or direct message

Welcome to The Western Frontier, adventurer! You've joined the best of the best here at SINC, CA! Saints of Interplanar Navigational Charters, Chalmers Acolytes. I'll be your Operations Overseer, Mr. Sullivan. We're on the fringe of the Imperium's reach here in Port Chalmers, so while you may be wanted or otherwise watched back home, here I don't care what your crimes were - Only that you do the job you've signed up for. And that job is to explore, document, make connections with the locals, and get into places you probably shouldn't be! Danger? Adventure? Relics, artifacts and ruins?? Strange beasts and plants?? Oh, it's out there, adventurer.. And the longer you wait, the more you miss out on! --------- The Setting: - The Western Frontier is a West Marches style of D&D! - We are largely based in Australia/NZ, and as such we play at times convenient for us! - We have somewhere between 13-16 active players, most have two currently active PC's! - Our experience with this style of D&D and with D&D as a whole varies! - Session scheduling and game direction is driven largely by players! This is an open world sandbox style of game! Game Info: - We use variant rules long/short resting. Short rests are now 8 hours (overnight), long rests take a week of downtime back in The Town, or another fortified position. (Settlements, Inns, camps - places with structures for you to sleep in and an armed guard/watch). - Resources matter! Spell components, ammo, carry weight, and rations are all tracked! Character Creation: - No twilight cleric and no variant humans. All PC's begin with a free feat and a non-combat uncommon item. - We use Discord for voice/text chat, Owlbear Rodeo for battle maps, & D&D Beyond/google sheets for character sheets. - Homebrew must be approved by a GM. Players: - 18+ people only! Firm on this, sorry gang! We range in age from about 19 to the late thirties! - LGBT+ folk expressly welcome! - No bigots, -ias or -isms, thank you! - All experience levels welcome, we're learning to run and play this style of game too, so we don't mind teaching you on the way! - Interested? Might be the game for you? Get in touch! Message me with: - A little about you! *Age, exp with d&d, timezone and typical times/days you'd play at/during (scheduling reasons) - A rough character idea! - Things you think you'd be interested in doing as a player! - Your discord username! - Times and days that'd work for you for a quick call so that we can vibe check each other!

Stamford CT 5e Campaign Looking for players

Homebrew Homebrew
LGBTQ+ friendly LGBTQ+ friendly
Hello Dungeon Dwellers of Stamford, Norwalk, Greenwich, Darien, Port Chester, and other key word cities in the Fairfield County area. I'm looking for adventurers for an in person campaign! DETAILS: Start Date: Session 0 - March 19th 2026 When: Thursdays in Person 6:30pm - 9ish Where: I have a few locations in mind in Stamford CT - one of which being Maruichi Select (formerly cask republic) but I haven't finalized a location yet. STORY: Across the Trackless Sea lies Anchorome, a distant continent newly opened to trade, settlement, and ambition. Gold has been found in its rivers. Timber and rare metals are being hauled back to the Sword Coast. Merchants call it opportunity. Kings call it destiny. You are someone who left Faerûn behind. Maybe you are chasing fortune. Maybe you are fleeing a name, a debt, or a failure. Anchorome offers distance and a chance to begin again on the frontier. But the land is not empty. In mining camps and rough-built ports, something has begun to happen. Prayers are being answered. Power is choosing people back. The familiar gods of the Sword Coast are not the only ones listening. They are calling this moment "the Great Answering." This campaign focuses on frontier exploration, settlement politics, moral choices, and the shaping of a new land during a turning point in history. Your characters will not just witness events. They will help decide what Anchorome becomes. GAME ENGINE: We will be playing DnD 5e 2024 edition with some homebrew primarily around bonus actions, downtime, and bastions. Expect theater of the mind for the most part with some fun props as time permits. Happy to help new players get into it. PLAYERS: I'm looking for 4-6 players with any level of experience that are really committed to attendance and focusing on story telling and roleplay. I'd say 70% Roleplay, 30% combat, no need to min max abilities or anything like that. My only hard and fast rule will be that the characters you make will need to be of good and or neutral alignment - I just don't find a truly evil player character that compelling. I'll set an arbitrary age limit of 24+ Rating: PG-13 - There will be some action movie level violence and adult themes, but no descriptions of gore and while unplanned any romance it's more fade to black, wink wink sitcom style. Your character can die, but I wouldn't expect them to in the early levels. There is no cost to this campaign, and you need not bring anything. Hoping to make new friends! I also have a very manly bag that I carry that has notebooks, pens, dice, ect. TO APPLY SEND ME A CHAT and or FILL OUT THIS APPLICATION: https://forms.gle/TpdpcCAh79V4GUww9 Background about the DM: I really fell head over heels in love with DnD around the launch of Baulders Gate 3 and then began playing with friends. I've been DM'ing a campaign in the upper east side for abit over two years now, and have been writing materials for this second campaign on and off for a year now. I have a whimsical tone to my worlds, where monsters are not necessarily evil, and where choices are plentiful and they always impact the world in ways we may not expect. I do try and do voices and accents, because I just have so much fun with it, DnD to me is playing pretend and making a world with your buddies. I'm David[He/Him] a 35 year old, married, marketer/writer who doesn't take himself too seriously, and is often described as silly, and good natured. My wife and I just bought a small two bedroom apartment in Stamford and are excited to make new friends in the area.

Welcome to the Drownglory Coast [Fridays HST]

Homebrew Homebrew
Roleplay focused Roleplay focused
The Drownglory Coast is a land gone wrong, with its many temples and fishing towns ruined by decades hurricanes and slowly eroding into the sea. As the foundations of their lives crumble, folk migrate deeper inland towards the great trade-city of Lancercost, hoping to earn the patronage of one of the city’s merchant princes or make their living along the canals that carry goods through the countryside like arteries of commerce. A region like this is prime for thieves and smugglers. You and your crew though? You were more than a crew; you were under Wirt 'Gladhand' Galloway, the coast was practically yours for the taking Unfortunately, things have gone bad, Your crewʻs last job ended in an ambush. Your contacts are burnt, youʻre whats left of the grew and the last of the leadership is doing his best not to bleed out before you can reach his safehouse in the countryside... Things look grim...but you're no stranger to this, hard times. You've all come from the bottom before and you sure as hell can do it again. All you need is some time to lick your wounds and coin in your pocket, fortunately for you...This the Drownglory Coast, with powerful elite exploiting their every privilege to squeeze the land down to its very last copper. This greed will be their undoing, as hoarding wealth like misers makes it all the more convenient for a clever group of scoundrels to sweep in and take it~ =============== INFORMATION Hello! My name is raihothefrost, though I prefer Digi. I'm 30 and I've been DMing off and on ever since 2016. While most tend to get sick of the GM chair, itʻs where I feel most at home. I enjoy the act of creating a world and characters, and seeing how others can affect them. Whether its absolutely circumventing a puzzle or changing up the world with one roll or idea, I just love to see those moments and being the one to help facilitate it. Now, how do I DM? Well, I like to say Iʻm a loose DM, while I keep in line with the rules, there are time where I may rule things differently than it may say as rewritten. I am fine with hashing out the rule in the future if need be but in my games there's no need to let being rules-accurate bog down play. System: Pathfinder 2e Requirements: Discord for Voice, use of Foundry VTT for play, decent microphone and a commitment to the time slot Platform: Foundry VTT, you don't need to download anything just make an account and you'll be set. Iʻll show you how if needed! Expectations: This game is going to be a sandbox campaign where your characters take the role of the last remnants of a thieves guild working to rebuild after a disastrous heist. To this end your characters will be taking on favors and heists, rebuilding their reputation. The land will have various stories going on in tandem but whatever the party moves towards is where the story will go, though all I ask is for your characters to be willing to work on reestablishing the guild What I'm looking for: - I am looking for up to 5 players that can make Fridays within 12pm to 5pm HST work on a regular basis. The hope is for the game to be weekly for a long term campaign - I want players who are interested in roleplay and interacting with the world - Absolutely must be accepting of the LGBTQ+ community, as I'm a part of it after all - People who are 21 yr or older. I feel more comfortable around people my age. - Fine with NSFW. The game will contain mature content, swearing, sexual themes, and violence, but no ERP at the table, unless it is agreed upon during session 0. As I am a NSFW furry artist, I'd feel comfortable with a group who are okay with me drawing a sexy npc or two. - This is not a place for joke characters. While there will be moments of levity, the aim for the campaign is not something like Legends of Avantris. - There will be banter of course, but this is a furry-friendly, LGBTQIA+ friendly, and diversity-friendly table. No harassment, no PvP, no murderhobos. Communication with the DM outside of game sessions is always available if anything bothers you. If you’re interested, apply using this form. https://forms.gle/6xFPJxUYxZAZp9nu9

: Wednesdays  ~ 7:30 PM - 3 Hours Maximum : Foundry/Discord : Mic/Discord/Foundry :  Please read before applying This game is gonna be set in a late 90s inspired world, like small town America with dial-up internet, payphones, old TVs, arcades, grocery stores, that kind of vibe. It starts off really normal, like everyday life, but then high magic stuff starts leaking into the world and everything slowly changes. It’s not full fantasy at the start. No castles or dragons walking around yet. Just regular people dealing with weird stuff that shouldn’t exist. Races and Classes are limited. For ancesteries you can pick Human, Dwarf, Elf, Gnome, or Halfling or Nephilim but here’s the important part: everyone is still basically human. There aren’t different species walking around. The race you pick is more like how the weird magic in the world affected you. So a “dwarf” is just a tougher, denser person. An “elf” is someone quicker and more perceptive. It’s flavor and mechanics, not actual fantasy races living in town. So yeah, the idea is you all start as normal people with normal jobs, in a normal place, and then things start going very wrong. Session 1 is about surviving that first night and figuring out what kind of person your character really is when stuff hits the fan. After that, we’ll move into the real campaign. The full list of job backgrounds available will be at the end,. ----------------- Character Creation Restrictions: Level: 1 Backgrounds: List Below Ancestries: ONLY Human, Dwarf, Elf, Gnome, Halfling, Nephilim, Half-Elf, Half-Orc Classes: ONLY Barbarian, Fighter, Gunslinger, Investigator, Kineticist, Monk, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer (Arcane or Primal) -------------------- Why the Class and Ancestry Restrictions? Magic in this setting is brand new to the world. It hasn’t existed for thousands of years like in normal Pathfinder settings. The Surge is the first time anything like this has ever happened, so there are no wizard schools, ancient spell traditions, or established churches granting divine powers. People are only just starting to experience strange abilities, and no one fully understands what’s going on yet. Because of that, only classes that rely on physical skill or instinctive magic are available at the start. Anything that would normally require long-standing magical traditions, divine relationships, or secret occult knowledge simply doesn’t exist yet in the world. The ancestry limits work the same way. There aren’t different fantasy species living together. Everyone is still human. The ancestry you choose just represents how the Surge changed your body or mind in subtle ways, giving you different traits or instincts. It’s more about how the magic affected you than what race you are. ------ BACKGROUNDS AVAILABLE: Accountant | Boosts: Intelligence or Wisdom | Skill: Society | Feat: Eye for Numbers Arcade Attendant | Boosts: Dexterity or Charisma | Skill: Society | Feat: Eye for Numbers Auto Mechanic | Boosts: Strength or Intelligence | Skill: Crafting | Feat: Specialty Crafting (mechanical) Bank Teller | Boosts: Charisma or Intelligence | Skill: Society | Feat: Eye for Numbers Building Custodian | Boosts: Constitution or Strength | Skill: Athletics | Feat: Hefty Hauler Carpenter | Boosts: Strength or Dexterity | Skill: Crafting | Feat: Specialty Crafting (wood) Childcare Worker | Boosts: Wisdom or Charisma | Skill: Diplomacy | Feat: Group Impression Diner Cook | Boosts: Constitution or Wisdom | Skill: Survival | Feat: Forager Electrician | Boosts: Intelligence or Dexterity | Skill: Crafting | Feat: Quick Repair EMT / First Responder | Boosts: Wisdom or Constitution | Skill: Medicine | Feat: Battle Medicine Factory Worker | Boosts: Constitution or Strength | Skill: Athletics | Feat: Endurance Farmer | Boosts: Constitution or Wisdom | Skill: Nature | Feat: Forager Feed Store Clerk | Boosts: Charisma or Wisdom | Skill: Diplomacy | Feat: Bargain Hunter Fence Installer | Boosts: Strength or Constitution | Skill: Athletics | Feat: Hefty Hauler Flea Market Vendor | Boosts: Charisma or Dexterity | Skill: Diplomacy | Feat: Bargain Hunter Gas Station Attendant | Boosts: Dexterity or Charisma | Skill: Society | Feat: Streetwise Grain Elevator Operator | Boosts: Strength or Intelligence | Skill: Crafting | Feat: Hefty Hauler Grocery Store Clerk | Boosts: Charisma or Wisdom | Skill: Diplomacy | Feat: Group Impression Groundskeeper | Boosts: Constitution or Wisdom | Skill: Nature | Feat: Forager Gym Teacher | Boosts: Strength or Dexterity | Skill: Athletics | Feat: Quick Jump Hairdresser / Barber | Boosts: Dexterity or Charisma | Skill: Diplomacy | Feat: Impressive Performance Hardware Store Employee | Boosts: Strength or Intelligence | Skill: Crafting | Feat: Specialty Crafting (tools) Irrigation Technician | Boosts: Intelligence or Wisdom | Skill: Nature | Feat: Terrain Expertise (plains) Lifeguard | Boosts: Strength or Dexterity | Skill: Athletics | Feat: Quick Jump Local Radio Host | Boosts: Charisma or Intelligence | Skill: Performance | Feat: Impressive Performance Motel Housekeeper | Boosts: Constitution or Dexterity | Skill: Stealth | Feat: Terrain Stalker (urban) Newspaper Reporter | Boosts: Intelligence or Charisma | Skill: Society | Feat: Streetwise Nurse’s Aide | Boosts: Wisdom or Constitution | Skill: Medicine | Feat: Battle Medicine Pest Control Worker | Boosts: Dexterity or Wisdom | Skill: Survival | Feat: Terrain Stalker (plains) Photographer | Boosts: Dexterity or Intelligence | Skill: Crafting | Feat: Specialty Crafting (visual) Physical Therapist Assistant | Boosts: Wisdom or Strength | Skill: Medicine | Feat: Continual Recovery Plumber | Boosts: Strength or Wisdom | Skill: Crafting | Feat: Quick Repair Police Officer | Boosts: Strength or Wisdom | Skill: Intimidation | Feat: Intimidating Glare Postal Worker | Boosts: Constitution or Wisdom | Skill: Survival | Feat: Forager Ranch Hand | Boosts: Strength or Constitution | Skill: Athletics | Feat: Hefty Hauler Radio Repair Technician | Boosts: Intelligence or Dexterity | Skill: Crafting | Feat: Specialty Crafting (electronics) Real Estate Clerk | Boosts: Charisma or Intelligence | Skill: Diplomacy | Feat: Bargain Hunter School Bus Driver | Boosts: Constitution or Wisdom | Skill: Perception | Feat: Eye for Detail School Janitor | Boosts: Constitution or Strength | Skill: Athletics | Feat: Hefty Hauler Science Teacher | Boosts: Intelligence or Wisdom | Skill: Nature | Feat: Natural Medicine Tattoo Artist | Boosts: Dexterity or Charisma | Skill: Crafting | Feat: Specialty Crafting (art) Tractor Mechanic | Boosts: Strength or Intelligence | Skill: Crafting | Feat: Quick Repair Truck Driver | Boosts: Constitution or Wisdom | Skill: Survival | Feat: Forager Used Car Salesperson | Boosts: Charisma or Intelligence | Skill: Deception | Feat: Charming Liar Utility Line Worker | Boosts: Strength or Dexterity | Skill: Athletics | Feat: Quick Jump Veterinarian Assistant | Boosts: Wisdom or Intelligence | Skill: Medicine | Feat: Risky Surgery Video Rental Clerk | Boosts: Intelligence or Charisma | Skill: Society | Feat: Assurance (Society) Volunteer Firefighter | Boosts: Strength or Constitution | Skill: Athletics | Feat: Titan Wrestler Waitress / Waiter | Boosts: Charisma or Constitution | Skill: Diplomacy | Feat: Hobnobber Welder | Boosts: Strength or Constitution | Skill: Crafting | Feat: Specialty Crafting (metal) If you’ve got another job idea that isn’t on the list, feel free to ask. As long as it fits a normal late-90s small-town role, I’m probably cool with it. We can figure out the boosts, skill, and feat together. --------------------- APPLICATIONS For applications, please DM me your answers to the questions below. It helps a lot if you keep the questions in your message so I can reference them later. -- Out of Character Preferred Name: Age: Pronouns: Timezone: Experience with PF2e or TTRPGs: What kind of playstyle do you enjoy most? (roleplay, combat, exploration, mix, etc.) Anything you absolutely don’t want in a game? Character Basics Character Name: Age: Job/Background: Ancestry: Which class are you planning for after Session 1? In Character Questions Where in or around town do you live? What is your home like? Apartment, trailer, farmhouse, room above a store, etc. What do you do for work, and how do you feel about it? Is it your dream job, or just something to pay the bills? Who in town matters most to you? Friend, family member, coworker, neighbor, etc. What is something you’re proud of? Could be small or personal. What is something you regret? A mistake, missed opportunity, or bad decision. What is your biggest fear right now? Not a fantasy monster If things keep getting worse, what would you be willing to do to survive? What is your favorite place in town? Who in town do you not get along with, and why? ------- I’ll be collecting applications over the next little while and will get back to people once I feel the group is filled with like-minded players. Please be patient, as I like to take my time and be a bit discerning so we end up with a cohesive group that works well together. ----------------- ‼️ I’ve received plenty of applications for frontliners and magic-focused characters, but there’s still room for someone who enjoys playing a skill-focused hero.

The Curse of Greywatch

Homebrew Homebrew
Newbie friendly Newbie friendly
Hi!  Looking for new players who are eager to start their first ever campaign! This is a survival horror based in a town called Greywatch. Campaign Overview: The Curse of Greywatch Night falls early in the frontier lands, and with it comes a silence the locals have learned not to question. Travelers whisper of shapes moving between the trees, of voices carried on the wind that don’t belong to any living thing. Most avoid the old forest roads entirely. Those who don’t… rarely arrive where they intended. Your heroes are among the few still willing to brave the journey. What begins as a simple passage to Greywatch Town becomes the first step into a land unraveling at the edges. The rain‑soaked forests hide more than wildlife; something ancient stirs beneath the roots, waking after generations of uneasy slumber. Villagers speak in half‑truths, clutching charms and glancing over their shoulders. The town’s leaders insist everything is under control, yet their eyes betray sleepless nights and unspoken fears. As the heroes investigate, they uncover a pattern of disappearances, strange symbols carved into trees, and a spreading sickness that twists both flesh and mind. The deeper they dig, the clearer it becomes: Greywatch is not merely threatened — it is marked. Something is hunting the town, and the forest itself seems complicit. Survival will demand more than steel and spellcraft. Supplies are scarce, allies are uncertain, and every night brings new horrors clawing at the edges of the firelight. The heroes must navigate paranoia, dwindling resources, and the growing suspicion that one of them may already be compromised. The question is not simply whether the heroes can save the town… but whether they can survive long enough to understand what’s truly stalking them.

Ashen Veil of the Forgotten Gods

Homebrew Homebrew
Roleplay focused Roleplay focused
Ashen Veil of Forgotten Gods In the dying lands of Eurnia, the sky hangs heavy with smoke and prophecy. Five kingdoms claw at one another in a merciless civil war — not merely for power, but for ideology, faith, and the right to define justice itself. Steel sings in the streets. Temples burn in the night. Alliances are inked in blood and broken before the sun rises. Each race claims righteousness. Each banner flies beneath a different truth. And none are innocent. Yet while mortals spill blood in the name of conviction, something far older stirs beyond their sight. An exiled god — ancient, patient, and unspeakably cruel — watches from behind the veil. It does not seek worship. It seeks submission. The five kingdoms are but pieces on its unseen board, and its most desired prize lies buried beneath ash, betrayal, and prophecy. Into this fractured continent sails a band of strangers — adventurers from lands unknown. Outsiders. Unclaimed by banner or bloodline. They arrive chasing ambition, redemption, glory… or perhaps escape. But Eurnia does not reward the untested. Dreams here must be carved from bone. Trust is a luxury paid in corpses. And every shadow may whisper a god’s command. Will they survive the webs of intrigue tightening around them? Will they choose a side in a war that was never theirs to fight? Or will they become pawns in a divine game older than the kingdoms themselves? The Forgotten Gods are watching. And if they turn their gaze away… Only the abyss will answer.

Crossing the Sea

Homebrew Homebrew
Roleplay focused Roleplay focused
Im running a Homebrew Campaign in D&D 2024 5th Edition. The game starts in two isles known as the Stormlands (Small Description Below) Because of the setting the only starting races to choose from are Humans, Dwarves and Halfings (And Dhampir versions of those) but as the campaign evolves you can unlock more races. All classes and other character options are available. The Campaign revolves around exploring the land beyond the one you know and discovering the unknown. None of the current lore is completely fleshed out and changes and additions can be made. We plan on doing a session 0 where we'll discuss parts of the game and create our characters. The game will be played on D&D Beyond and We have 3 players so far. We are seeking 2 more players so if you are interested comment below (Ages 16-21 preferred as I myself am 17) The Stormlands: Two lands surrounded by rough impassable sea. The land is ruled by humans, but there are Halfings working in the fields and Dwarves in The Peak. The Factions are split into Three: The Northlands, a rocky, militaristic isle under one rule. The Noble Kingdom or the Kingdom ruled by a long line of kings where honor and nobility is worshiped. The City of Delon, a city for and by the people under elected rule it houses the biggest centralized population in The Stormlands. The Two Isles are connected by a bridge older than History books can date and guarded by The Northland Military. In the middle of the southern Isle lies an old and mysterious Forrest named The Elder Forest, it is only visited by hunters or Men who have a death wish. Small Unruled Villages and farms are scattered about the Southern isle but in the Northlands, not an inch of land is not accounted for. The Stormlands have hundreds of years of lore and tradition but the one thing unknown, is what lies beyond the sea.

Hey there, I am looking for an experienced DM who would run a campaign that I wrote the lore for it's only the world and regions in the world. I made a couple new spells well by a couple I mean like 50 spells. Me and my friends are looking for someone who is fun and enjoys the rule of cool and doesn't cheat rolls. We as a group are love fun and chill folks, we love engaging worlds, memorable npcs, challenging combat, and roleplay that feels genuine and emotional. We do dnd online on discord and we are all CST and I will leave my discord here if you interested ash_the_nobody can't wait to work with you!

Game going on this sunday the 15th at 4:00 CST. Come save hostages from the lair of a mad alchemist in a brief dungeon crawling adventure. It will take place on Roll20. Message me here and I'll DM you the link. Hoping for people who can help me out, I'm not a very smart DM and may need help with some aspects. Thank you all for reading and I hope to hear from some of you. (Could update it to 6E (aka dnd 2024) if there is a majority consensus, but 5e is what I traditionally have most experience with) Because I'm not sure where to find it, first game is this sunday at 4:00 (or at least that's when i'm hoping to do it, but I can flex it outwards.)

Age of Embers — Roleplay-Focused Homebrew Campaign (5e 2024 Chassis) System: D&D 5e (custom mana-based magic) Platform: Roll20 + Voice Players: beginners welcome as where all fairly new 3 total maybe 4 (2 confirmed, looking for 1 maybe 2 strong RP player who loves to play their role) The Premise The Sun God was killed 350 years ago. His soul shattered across the world. Where fragments fell, reality warped. Curses linger. Faith falters. The gods remain silent. You are a graduate of an academy formed in the aftermath of divine collapse — tasked with confronting the lingering wounds of the world. This campaign is narrative-forward, character-driven, and mythic in tone. What Makes This magic system Different • Custom mana-based magic system (no spell slots) • Magic is disciplined and risky • Overclock mechanic (push beyond limits at a cost) • Fragments of a dead god are central to the story • Pre-industrial setting The system is streamlined and explained in Session 0. Open to tuning early on. ⸻ Looking For • Someone comfortable speaking in character • Someone who is open minded and gets along with others • Someone open to homebrew systems • Consistent attendance • Collaborative energy If any questions let me know I’m happy to answer all in hopes to find a right fit
