[LFG] Party of 5 Seeking DM for Curse of Strahd

Hello! We're a group of five players looking for a Dungeon Master interested in running Curse of Strahd. Our group is made up of a mix of complete beginners and experienced D&D players, but none of us have played or spoiled Curse of Strahd. We want to experience the campaign as intended, with all of its mystery, tension, and surprises intact. We're looking for a DM who: Enjoys roleplay and character-driven storytelling. Doesn't mind teaching newer players while still challenging experienced ones. Wants to create a memorable, immersive gothic horror experience. Values collaboration, communication, and a respectful table. What you can expect from us: A full party of five that's excited to commit to a long-term campaign. Players who enjoy getting invested in their characters and the world. Respectful attitudes, good communication, and a willingness to learn. Discord for voice communication. If you're an experienced Curse of Strahd DM or someone who's been looking for the right group to run it for, we'd love to hear from you. Tell us a little about your DMing style, your preferred schedule, and anything you'd like us to know. If you think we'd be a good fit, send us a message. We're ready to brave the mists of Barovia. Either message me on here, or add me on discord at conduitformallyknownaskade

I'm looking for a group of players interested in a character-driven D&D 5e (2014) campaign that meets every other Friday, starting 7 PM CST. We'll begin with Storm King's Thunder at level 1. While we'll be using a published module as our foundation, I don't intend to railroad the party. The adventure provides the world, locations, and major events, but how you interact with them is entirely up to you. If you ignore the main quest to chase rumors, build relationships, explore forgotten ruins, or simply head in a different direction, I'll follow your lead. Your choices will have consequences, and the world will continue to move whether you're there or not. My style leans toward roleplay, exploration, and meaningful decision-making over constant combat. Expect NPCs with motivations, factions with competing interests, and opportunities to solve problems in more ways than simply drawing a sword. Combat is still an important part of the game, but it serves the story rather than existing for its own sake. The game will primarily be run in theater of the mind. For larger set-piece battles, complicated encounters, or fights where positioning is especially important, we'll move over to Roll20. Maps will be functional rather than flashy, with simple graphics meant to keep everyone on the same page instead of trying to recreate a video game. All official 5e (2014) books are allowed. Homebrew is welcome, but I'll review it on a case-by-case basis to make sure it fits the campaign and stays reasonably balanced. My goal isn't to say no, but to make sure everyone has fun and no one option overshadows the rest of the table. Above all, I'm looking for players who enjoy working together to tell a story. Whether you're a veteran or completely new to D&D, you're welcome as long as you're willing to engage with the world, respect your fellow players, and help create memorable moments for everyone at the table. If that sounds like the kind of game you're looking for, feel free to reach out here or on Discord: conduitformallyknownaskade.
