We’re looking to recruit one additional player who is also interested in DMing to join our ongoing D&D 5e (2024 rules) campaign. Our current party is level 3 and most of the party has been playing together for a while even though this campaign is still early on, and we’re hoping to find someone who enjoys both sides of the table roleplaying, storytelling, and worldbuilding. The goal is to start with a one-shot run by the prospective DM to see if we’re a good fit together whenever you're ready to go. If things click, we’ll move into a long-term setup where our campaign and yours alternate Sundays. One week you play in the Academy of Guidance, the next week we explore the world you’ve created. Schedule & Format Day: Sundays Time: 17:00 CEST / 11:00 AM EST Session Length: 4 hours Rotation: Week 1: Academy of Guidance (you as a player) Week 2: Your campaign (you as DM) Platform: Discord (webcam required), D&D Beyond for sheets & maps Majority of us are based in Europe, but we’re open to players from other time zones as long as the schedule works consistently. What We’re Looking For Age: 20 - 30 preferably Comfortable both playing and DMing (experience is flexible we care more about attitude than perfection) Webcam required – roleplay and table presence are a big focus for us Clear communication – life happens, just keep us informed Consistent Sunday availability Strong interest in roleplay and narrative-driven play Beginner Friendly (On Both Sides of the Screen!) You don’t need to be a “veteran DM” or rules expert however that could be a plus. Several players are still learning the system, and we value creativity, collaboration, and storytelling over mechanical mastery. These phenomena warp reality itself, twisting people, landscapes, and structures into something unnatural. Giant creatures emerge where villages once stood. Forests awaken with sentience. Mountains form in impossible shapes. To confront this growing threat, the capital city founded the Academy of Guidance, an institution dedicated to training individuals capable of surviving, containing, and understanding anomalies. Students balance academy life with increasingly dangerous real-world missions, all while political tension and ideology clash beneath the surface. Your character is one of these students.
