Hello, I am fairly new to dnd and lfg 18 and older. I'd like to play a fairy (WBTW) druid with some homebrew to the things I can transform into if the dm approves. I also am only available nights on fri but would preferably like to play sat around 7 pm PST. I have made some characters like a druid fairy and barbarian triton. I'd like to join a game that's mixed of combat (to level up) and role playing. You've heard it before: eternal DM wants to finally get a chance to be a player and has a million and one character ideas up their sleeve to do so. I love 5e (2014 and 2024 versions are both fine) and have been itching to get back into it now that I've managed to get some more free-time in my schedule. I'm very familiar with the rules and most source material, enjoy a good homebrew or modules (no preference), and have equal experience/interest in RP and combat. I'm familiar with online play over Discord / Roll20 / D&DBeyond / etc. and am a quick learner so anything new is also not a problem. I'm located on the east coast (so est/edt), am in my 30s and am primarily available all day Mondays and Tuesdays, but can make other days/times work depending on what they are. Hi I'm Edward. I'm an older player, been playing for about 4 years. While I love all aspects of DND - role play, exploring and combat - I find my favourite games are those that more or less balanced between the three. I love games that are challenging with lots of difficult choices and lean in to the party working together with the DM to create a story. The TTRPG journey started when I was back in high school, and my writing has been even longer and one of the things I am personally most proud of, my ability to make compelling characters that also have good builds. Though I have a horrid habbit of power gaming I'm trying to break!

Hello, there! I am a veteran player (38-years-old) who switched to D&D 5.5 ever since its release and has played sessions weekly (even multiple times a week). My window of availability is between 6 AM and 11:30 AM, and between 2 PM and 10:30 PM, CET times. I like exploration and all kinds of discoveries. I enjoy RP the most when it furthers the characters, the campaign's story or both. I like combat especially when it mixes in interesting mechanics and objectives, and when I can be creative in my descriptions and my actions. I love overcoming challenges, whatever form they take, through teamwork and preparation. I like believable character actions, because I value immersion a lot, which is why I generally prefer a serious tone over a silly one. Jokes are more than fine, but I much prefer it when they don't undercut tense and emotional moments. As a player, I'm committed, invested in the story and a note-taker, I gravitate the most towards themes related to morality, knowledge/lore and creativity/art, I take my time to gather information and strategize, and I'm good-aligned pretty much always. I never come into a campaign with a clear idea on what character to play, as I very much enjoy trying to weave species, class, concept and backstory with the campaign's world, letting the latter inspire character creation itself. So I tend to ask some questions after I join a new game, to get a better idea and then decide, with an eye on party composition as well. As a person, I'm a big believer in fairness, I'm as anti-toxicity as it gets, and I'm respectful, inclusive, punctual and communicative.

Hi, I am an experienced D&D player who has also dabbled as a DM in the past. I have been playing on and off since high school (I am now in my 30s). My campaigns have often ended early due to real-life schedules, so while I enjoy the game deeply, my late-level experience is somewhat limited. However, I am hoping to find a group where we can build a story together that might go the distance. My favorite games focus on exploring player character backgrounds as part of the campaign narrative. I put a lot of work into character creation, so I value seeing that development happen for myself and my teammates. I would be interested in trying the Pathfinder 2E systemor Daggerheart, but have no experience with those compared to 2014/2024 DnD 5e. A few notes about me: I tend to be soft-spoken with new people, but I warm up quickly once I get to know the group. Logistically, I am in the Eastern Time Zone and work typical office hours. I am a 22 M who is relatively new to dnd. I've only played a Star Wars campaign with my brothers in law (and BG3 but that probably doesn't count), so I'd definitely consider myself a noob. I'm also a college student, so my scheduling may be a little unpredictable (particularly in the start of the fall while I'm figuring out a routine), but once I get a routine in I'd likely be able to work with it. I also own tabletop simulator on steam. My favorite classes are warlocks, rogues, and fighters (and I want to eventually try a ranger), so those classes or some combination would probably be what I'd end up playing. Greetings! I'm Micah. I prefer a good balance of combat and roleplay; so I'm not really into dungeon-crawls (all combat, no roleplay), but also not interested in political intrigue either (all roleplay, no combat). I'm available most of the week; just can't do Sundays, or evenings on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (I'm in US Central Time). I would prefer weekly games, and I will not join paid games. I consider myself an intermediate player, but only about half of my experience is actually playing. There's been a long stretch of time that I haven't played, but I've still been reading all sorts of D&D stuff and hyperfixating on different things. Because of this, I have a lot of ideas of classes I'd like to play, while I've only actually played a handful. My current idea is to try out sorcerer, but paladin and warlock seem cool too. I also just started watching Rigamaroll, and I'm fascinated by the Daggerheart system, so I'd love to try that as well.

By the way, English is not my first language (I speak it fluently though) and I have an accent that I can't get rid of. I have lots of experience playing DnD (and a little bit of other TTRPGs) and was often described as a 'dream player' by my other DMs, because I create interesting characters, let DMs have fun with them and be heavily invested in the lore, creating theories, connecting dots and catching hints like an eagle catching a ball from that one meme. My play style? Love both the role playing aspect and fighting, but I love building a beautiful story with other players the most. I don't fight for spotlight and don't mind others having their moments, sometimes holding a supporting role for a long time. I, myself, love playing a long game with my characters, so I can hold on to my character's secret for years (been there, done that). As for equipment, I have a good mic and a webcam. I rarely cancel DnD sessions unless I absolutely can't attend (so sick that I can't get out of bed, have a flight, etc). I am also pretty open to talking to my party outside DnD, discussing characters, creating content for the party/characters, playing video games and so on.

I'm Tomb, a (technically) 6 year DND player (on and off and with a lot of "rule of cool" tables so not a veteran) looking for a game for Sunday Nights usually starting around 8 EST (though my schedule will probably open soon!) Im a storyteller at heart, with a big focus on worldbuilding, lore, and character driven narratives. I like getting into the depths of the worlds history and seeing what makes it tick while playing with harsh backstories that loom like shadows over the players, but I tend to shy away from GrimDark, I like some hope with my whump please! None of that means I don't like combat though, combat plays a really important part in a lot of stories and can be interesting in their own right! I do know a lot of the rules for DND 5e, I've been watching actual plays long enough to have picked up on the rules, but I prefer Homebrew over RAW and Rule of Cool over Rules Lawyering I'm a huge fan of actual plays, namely Campaign 2 of critical role, Dimension 20s Misfits and Magic, A Court of Fey and Flowers, and The Seven, a small one shot campaign called World's Apart, and the beginning half of Godsfall (before the cast imploded) Literature wise I'm an avid reader of high fantasy, Eragon being my favorite series, along with Harry Potter (fuck terfs), and a niche Midgrade series called Avalon: Web of Magic! TL;DR in the DMs Guide Player Types: Im an Explorer, a Problem Solver, and a Storyteller, but I'm more than willing to hit something along the way, i prefer Homebrew and Rule of Cool over RAW, and i want some found family/hope with my hard story beats! As a player I'm more combat focused, but don't think that I don't like to RP too. I play a variety of different characters so there's no one trope that I'm known for. I do work for 2-6 weeks at a time offshore, so I wouldn't be able to play for long periods of time. However when I'm home I'm able to make most days and times work. Greetings all! I have been playing TTRPGs on and off for 25 years and although I am naturally more combat-focused, I have been wanting to improve my roleplaying skills a bit more. I'm a 19-year-old who has been playing Dungeons & Dragons for about six months. Even though I'm still fairly new to the game, I've really enjoyed learning the rules, exploring different roleplaying opportunities, and working with my party to overcome challenges. My favorite class is the Rogue because I enjoy a clever, tactical playstyle. I like using stealth to stay out of danger, scouting ahead for the group, and looking for creative ways to solve problems instead of rushing into every fight. In combat, I try to position myself carefully so I can take advantage of Sneak Attack and deal high damage when the opportunity presents itself. Outside of combat, I enjoy picking locks, disarming traps, and using my character's skills to help the party navigate difficult situations. Although I only have about half a year of experience with D&D, I'm always looking to improve my understanding of the game, develop better teamwork, and create memorable stories with the people I play with. I consider myself an immersion-first kind of player, I like to make my decisions in character with the same thought process my characters would if possible. Used chain sickles and had a pet dragon named Mustang. Couldn't handle alcohol or women trying to talk with her. (Lawful good). John Doe - A street rat abandoned in the slums of Baldurs Gate because of his half human, half elf heritage. With neither race accepting the other half of him, he struggled on his own to survive as a boy after his mother passed. An orphan with not even a name to his being, he became notorious among the gangs of the gate for both his tenacity and thieving abilities. Eventually forming his own gang with help from a close friend he had made after they were busted on a job together. His elven raw magical talent but lack of training made his magic shape in a peculiar way. Turning him into a soul knife rogue who would eventually find himself knocking on Strahds doorstep. Was the party leader for a curse of strahd game. Was somewhere between a reckless but respectable older brother and that cool but weird uncle. (Neutral good). Sinphony - A downloaded consciousness in a sci-fi world, Sin was a research robot tasked with stopping a galaxy wide plague. Body built by an A.I his people worshipped, Sin was once a human who's being was uploaded into the great ARK shortly before his death. From the transfer not much of himself came with him except flashes of a past he cant quite make out and his scientific acumen. Now he is the science officer for a ship headed to deep space. The main doctor in charge of experimentations and quarantine on the galactic illness. Generally played as a CDC disease specialist and pretended to be more of a robot then he was. A mostly kind being though one willing to make sacrifices to stop the spread of the galactic plague. (Neutral good).

Hi friends :) I go by Fluffy/Fluff. I'll be honest and start by saying, I'm fairly new to DnD. I was introduced to the Baldur's Gate series when I was very young and then later on Divinity and Larian's newest game, Baldur's Gate 3 has had me itching to try role-playing in a proper DnD setting. I joined a campaign of all new players (friends) to the genre last year, however, it was disbanded after a few months due to personality differences with some of the players as well as scheduling issues... we were playing on roll20 and the campaign was the Curse of Strahd, but we didn't get very far. This left me quite sad as I really enjoyed it and I took a long time creating my character, whom I absolutely loved. I'm looking for a semi-casual friendly group, that still takes the game seriously and wants to advance in the campaign, whilst also fostering camaraderie and immersing themselves in their roles. Whilst I am new, I'm willing to learn and am fairly familiar with the basics. I am a little nervous as I don't want to let anyone down and this is my first time looking for a group like this... but I'm very enthusiastic about role-play and would do my very best to familiarise myself with the technical/fighting aspect of DnD! Hello, I'm a veteran DnD player (5+ years) and I'm looking to get back into the game after a 2.5 years hiatus due to life getting in the way (as it always does). I've played in a variety of games, both homebrew and existing DnD modules, and am familiar with the game's systems and workings. I haven't gotten a chance to fully play with the new 2024 5e system and would love to get a chance to.
