Hello everyone! My name is Michael, I am a 25 year old guy who is a huge fan of the World of Darkness, and I am looking for a group or Chronicle that is FREE to join! I emphasize "free" because I am already in a paid DND campaign and can't afford another paid game at the moment, so I hope you understand! Games I'm Applying For: Vampire: The Masquerade V5, Dark Ages: Vampire, and Demon: The Fallen. (Werewolf: The Apocalypse 20th Anniv. would also be nice!) I have V5 on Demiplane. The rest I have the PDFs I purchased through DriveThruRPG. I am most familiar with Demon: The Fallen, but any of the WoD games I've listed here I'd happily play in! Experience with WoD: I have no experience with the tabletop games beyond watching online groups playing them, though I do have a few of the V5 books online via Demiplane (Corebook, Player's Guide, Chicago by Night), and the PDFs of others (Dark Ages: Vampire, Victorian Age: Vampire, Werewolf: The Apocalypse 20th Anniv, and Demon: The Fallen). The online chronicles I've seen are NY by Night, while I am still watching LA by Night and Ancestral Blood, so I do have fore-knowledge on how VtM games may flow, even if I don't have all the rules memorized! I have also been watching some online Chronicles of other games, such as McStabber Studios’ Demon the Road to Hell. Beyond the tabletop I have played various video games (Redemption, Bloodlines, Bloodlines 2, Swansong, Blood Hunt, WtA: Earthblood), I have played through visual novels ( VTM NY visual novel trilogy), I have recently started some interactive novels (Parliament of Knives, The Book of Hungry Names), and have started some of the novels (Clan Novel Toreador, Dark Ages Clan Novel Nosferatu, Grail Covenant, Ashes and Angel Wings)! Experience with Tabletops: I have been a fan of tabletops, mainly DND, for a few years now via online groups and podcasts, most notably Critical Role. I am also a small-time fan of groups like McStabber Studios, MagiRPG, Legends of Avantris, and Dice Times. I know how TTRPGs flow and especially how to roleplay, as that is and always has been my favorite aspect of these games! I started my first ever DND campaign a few months ago, and have been enjoying it very much and have been learning about all the mechanics! As for WoD, I understand all the general rules of play having read through the books I have purchased on Demiplane or DriveThruRPG and I feel I have a decent grasp of them. All I am lacking is the actual experience, which I am hoping to soon rectify! What I Have to Offer As A Player: I am the kind of player who takes the game very seriously, in that I am a great note taker, I go deep into roleplaying, I like crafting original and layered backstories for my characters, and I like to see my character develop and evolve as a person (or as a Monster!) throughout the campaign, whether that is mentally, physically, and/or when it comes to their abilities. I am also a very open-minded and friendly person, not to sound immodest. I am very LGBTQ+ Friendly, being a member of that community myself, and so I am the least judgmental person I know! Again, not to sound immodest! I am also very punctual. IF I am able to meet at the appointed time, then I will always be on time or early no matter what! The Kind of Monster I'd Play: My favorite Cainite clans, in no particular order, are as follows: Lasombra, Nosferatu, Cappadocian/Hecata, Tremere, Brujah, Ravnos. These are the clans that I would be most interested in playing. I like how unique they all are and the fact that they each, despite having some similarities, would play completely differently. I like playing characters that are morally grey but that strive to be better in a world of darkness and inherent violence. As for the Fallen I'd play? The Factions I enjoy the most are the Faustian and the Reconciler. The House I enjoy the most are the Slayers, the Angels of Death. The host body would likely be someone on the fringes of society, someone who knew suffering and so attracted one who has similarly despaired. The Fallen would likely be a melancholic one wallowing in darkness and righteous anger, but still wanting to do better and having an insatiable drive to fight against the injustices that have become increasingly common across Creation. What I Am Looking For: I am primarily looking for a World of Darkness Chronicle and group to join! I am hoping for a game with depth and lots of lore, with a Storyteller that is as serious about their Chronicle as I would be for my character! This can be in-person in NYC, or online! The ONLY caveat regarding online play is that I would have to use either Demiplane or Roll20 since that is where I purchased the books that I have listed above! Of course, we can simply use online for chatting and use actual character sheets, etc. Availability: I am not available Thursday and Saturday nights EST as I have other games at those times. Availability could potentially be made, however.

Hello, you can call me Nor and I love to join a group to be part of a campaign. I have played for almost 5 years both as player and DM but that is mostly 2014 (5E) setting. I have played with 2024 rule but only recently this year (2026), so I am still learning the changes. I favor over roleplaying and storytelling than combat. Basically, character growth, personality, a bit of acting, and how they face the world with the party as a group or dealing with personal problem if have to face it alone.  As a player, I am calm, chill, and willing to learn whether game or mistake. I don't complain a lot when I'm a player. My goal is just to have fun playing together. When comes to creating a character, I can be flexible as long as it fits in the campaign theme and story (and world). As for soft/hard limit: I am not a fan NSFW (Prefer fade to black) and I prefer avoiding sensitive topic where it could ruin the game mood. However, my biggest issue is time and my availability. GMT+8 (My country is not from the list so I put the closest) Sunday between 12am - 5am (My available time) I use for discord for voice (only) and I usually play on roll20, but I dont mind playing on other system. I also would love to try Pathfinder as well if given the opportunity.

Hello. I have been playing D&D 5e for 2 years, looking for a weekly game whether in 5e or 5.5e. Preferably evenings in the weekends, as I am available after 6 PM EST. Definitely can commit to a consistent weekly game night provided that if 1) IRL does not throw a wrench my way or 2) game is canceled.  I enjoy a game where it is combat focused, in no way I am against roleplaying, could mix it up between the two. I am okay with character death, and games whether its homebrew, or official or games converted from different modules. My favorite class to play is the fighter and my go to favorite is the cavalier, a classic knight on horse subclass that defends his party and lives by his own code.

I have an absolute ton of time on my hands now and I'd like to step back into TTRPG's! I'd like to find a very old-fashioned group if possible, one a lot more into the story and roleplaying of their characters, blended well with the actual playing of the game. Finding group dynamics are a lot of fun and I enjoy writing a lot about the characters I play, as well as in general. Would love a group that is heavily invested in the adventure and what everyone else's goals are. Wizards and casters are obviously my bread and butter, so I almost always play some form of them. Huge on puzzles, riddles and mysteries, stuff that really makes scholarly-characters tick. I also care a lot about the moment-to-moment interactions and immersion, how magic works and is written means a lot to me. I love adventures of all themes, whether dark, serious or somewhat light-hearted. Availability: Any time really! Am my own boss, so I can flex to whatever! Would love to play at least once a week, and longer hours are always fun. I'm NA East, but I can adjust pretty well early or late.

Hi, I am 28 years old, male, and I am looking for a campaign to join during the day. I am free on weekdays between 11am-6pm UTC.  I am not a newbie, I have definitely had on and off bouts with D&D, but never longer than a year, so please forgive me if I'm rusty. But I am only familiar with 5e 2014. I have yet to try 2024.  I love and adore D&D, but it has been a challenge to find friends I can consistently play with. I go by Elf. Any/All pronouns.I started playing tabletops back in 2017. First 5E, then Pathfinder, and now Daggerheart is my go-to game. I've been playing since the beta in 2024, I enjoy how the system encourages creativity from the GM and the players, how you can add "flavor" to the games spells, weapons, etc. I could go on and on about why I love this game, but I have a profile to write. I'm also a roleplayer and a writer. I often roleplay with friends over Discord, and have wrote a few stories, though most of them are sitting on my desktop. I like coming up with fun characters. Some take inspiration from The Elder Scrolls or RWBY or ZZZ. One of my recent characters was inspired by Fate. Never watched, but I liked the design/concept. I tend to get ideas that sometimes explode out of me. Next thing you know, I'm openining up a character sheet. So hours. A weekly game would be ideal. I'm kind of a night owl. My time zone is EST.  Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, I'm available for games from 6 PM to 6 AM the next day. Wednesdays, I'm available from 1 AM (technically Thursday, but you get the idea) to 6 AM. Friday and Saturday, I'm available from 8 PM to 6 AM. Sunday is usually my busy day. Sometimes this changes, but not enough to where I can commit to a Sunday game. For late night games, I can always get some caffeine in me to keep myself awake. I've done so before. It shouldn't be a problem if we're only playing once or twice a week. One last thing to mention: I sometimes use a voice changer for roleplaying purposes to sound a certain way when speaking as my character. As mentioned above, I love roleplaying and sometimes get really into it. This is comepletly optional, however, and I don't need it if it'll be too distracting. I can turn it on and off with a press of a key. So that's it. I look forward to hearing from you.

About Me: My name is Alex. He/Him pronouns. In my mid twenties, studying in college. Totally comfortable with queer players/DMs, though I would not consider myself queer, most of my friends are. Some past religious trauma. I'm looking for a long term camaign, around weekly. Available any day right now and can move my schedule around for any time from around noon to midnight as long as I have forewarning. Style: I'm willing to play in all sorts of themed games, homebrew or not, but I tend to enjoy high magic campaigns and high tech campaigns a bit less. I enjoy mysteries in the world and I like gods being a central part to worldbuilding or the story itself. I enjoy the exploring a lot, (even if dnd doesn't have many rules for it), especially other planes, but the material realm is totally fine to spend an entire campaign in. My favorite character I haven't had the opportunity to play more than a session of is a neutral good, male Kitsune Bard who enjoys supporting the party and growing his collection of stories, written, sung, or told. I'm used to low level campaigns (< lvl 6), but have no qualms with high level campaigns. Experience: I have experience DMing and I have experience as a player. Not too much for either, but a few years experience DMing for a group of friends/family ranging from 8 players to 3. That's why I've put myself at Intermediate experience, not too much experience as a player for more than a session or two, though I have gone beyond that point. Pillars Balance: I do enjoy combat, but I also very much enjoy exploration and roleplay, both with other players and with NPCs. I like teasing and being the party face who isn't entirely always proper and moral, but has good intentions overall. I try very hard to share the spotlight and pull in fellow players. I'm totally fine if a session goes without combat, but if we go two sessions without rolling initiative, I might be a bit concerned. As previously mentioned, I like exploring, but as long as you introduce cool locations we visit, that's good for me. I like difficult and engaging combat, ones that make us strategize, maybe prepare for beforehand, combats that make us move around the field more, secure objectives, or maybe play unconventionally such as controlling or wielding things we normally wouldn't.

Hello! I’m a huge D&D nerd looking for a campaign to join. I’ve run multiple campaigns over the past few years, listened to several actual-play campaigns, and played in a few games myself, so I have a decent amount of experience. I still get confused sometimes though 😅 I’m looking for a weekly or bi-weekly group, preferably on Fridays. I’m available any time after 2 PM MST and before 7 PM MST. Sometimes life throws a curveball at me, but I will always let the group know ahead of time if I can’t make a session or if something comes up. I’m neurodivergent and have some learning disabilities, which can occasionally affect gameplay a little. Sometimes I may need something repeated or need a little extra time to read or figure something out, but overall it’s not usually a major issue. I really enjoy roleplay-focused campaigns, even though I’m not great at character voices yet. I enjoy combat too, as long as it isn’t nonstop encounter after encounter after encounter. I’m also completely fine with games where characters can die if it makes sense for the story or situation. I always have way too many character ideas floating around in my head, so I’m happy to make someone new if needed. Some series and settings I’ve enjoyed over the years: • Percy Jackson • Marvel • Jujutsu Kaisen (anime and manga) • X-Men • Wings of Fire I’m mainly looking for a fun group that enjoys storytelling, roleplay, and having a good time together. P.S. I am also looking to try out Mutants & Masterminds. I have only heard a little about it, and it intrigued me. Playstyle I am a person who both enjoys engaging roleplaying, interactions between the characters and with the world at large. To me a good game has a healthy mix of both and ideally also mixes them. So I want to roll the dice when appropriate, but I'm a bit tired of hearing 'I roll to attack' and a simple 'you hit'. Why not make it 'I bring my sword to bear against the owlbear, parry it's right claw swiping for me while side-stepping and try to cut it across it's leg in retaliation'? This gives the GM much more to play without without having to wrack their brain how to make it an exciting moment for everyone. Same goes for RP: You can try to hide the need to roll something to see, whether you succeed or not, by describing it creatively. I could say 'I want to roll Diplomacy to convince the lizardman warrior, that we come in peace' or I could say 'Putting on an open, peaceful body language, showing he is not armed, <character name> speaks clearly and softly in a diplomatic tone "We mean no harm. Just want to talk."' To me RP and rules are not two separate sides of a medallion - they can work beautifully hand in hand to weave a story within a fair ruleset, that gives everyone equal chances. Hence I also play the character idea and role within the party. I don't min-max, I work to represent the character idea both in RP and in the build. What's the character idea of a stoic and stalwart defender worth, if it isn't backed up by a build optimized towards taking the brunt of the enemies attacks? How can I play a hot-shot pilot, if his confident and assured stance isn't backed up by great skill with piloting and tendancy towards pulling stunts and a few aces up his sleeves? Experience I've started out with one of the more complex games to play 26 years ago: Shadowrun. Very crunchy, figuring out rolls was an effort and more often than not forgoing too complex rules for the rule of cool. From there I moved on to a myriad of systems - both mainstream and not. To name a few: Legend of the Five Rings, King Arthur Pendragon, D&D 5E (2014), Stafinder 1E, Stars Without Number, Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer 40K FFG (Dark Heresy, Rogue Trader and Only War), Star Wars Edge of the Empire, The Dark Eye (DSA), A Song of Ice and Fire RPG, Pathfinder 2E and a quick dip into Fallout 2d20, as well as maybe some I can't even remember from the get-go right now. I've been on both sides of the table in those years, being both a GM and a player on- and offline. But I moved on from GMing for the most part, as I just don't have the capacity for additional responsibility in my life right now, besides showing up in time and having a good time with some fellow enjoyers of cooperative rules-based storytelling ;) Bio Let's start with the basic facts: 39 years old male (he/him) from Germany. Near-native level of fluency in both written and spoken English due to early exposure to English at around age 4 to 5 and being active in the daily usage of English thanks to the internet. Also means my spoken English is pretty much accent free, though definitely leaning towards American English, not British English. I am your archetypical nerd and proud of it: I love all things Sci-Fi and Fantasy, video games, movies, series and anime, books, actual science and technology and especially computers, which also explains my chosen career in the IT sector. I also stream as a hobby, though that is currently on a hiatus due to work, hoping this will calm down some time in the coming months, so I also can get back to it.

I don't often play as a player but when I do, I create a fully living and breathing character that will fit in the group and gameplay that we're about to play. My characters want to go out on adventures, they have rough edges and light backstories so they can either evolve within the game or just be the reason of why I go out to adventure. For me it's about to create memorable experience for everyone and I include all forms of (silly) voices for all tones of play. From goofy to full on serious moments. Be aware that I actually hate D&D since the fourth edition at it is to this day and for all the future ahead completely unbalanced, extremely broken and with an anti conumser corporation behind it that openly admits they want to do the same they did with Magic the Gathering: Bringing in 'Universe Beyond' with the goal to get more money - not to please fans - to get money. If you support this, you really should avoid me as player and gamemaster. I am just sick of the D&D universe or better: WotC destroying another branch with anti-consumer behaviour and fans defending them as if they're the best company out there. PF2e alternate rules I play with: - Proficiency without level bonus (I want to have all characters be viable from early to end game. No bloated numbers.) - Ancestry Paragon (I want to refine my ancestry.) - Gradual Ability Boosts (Smoother boosts) - Automatic Bonus Progression (Be honest: You give out runes anyway. Forgo the "You find this awesome weapon" and let characters advance with their weaponry on a more natural line) - Free Archetype (Not a must but it truly rounds out any character idea one might have. Level * 1,5 = Actual Level. Be aware of that.) - No house rules. PF2e is balanced enough with the alternate rules already. We're not playing D&D.

Hello! I'm Efim, quite a player of Shadowrun and (to lesser extent) Cyberpunk 2020. Have some experience with Exalted and Starfinder, and tried to GM PF1e (which died due to schedules). Thanks to being deep into CP2020 and SR, I'm quite good with both RP part of the things and the combat part. I prefer live text games, but voice games and long-term PBPs are also fine (assuming they don't die within a week). While in games, I prefer less linear, more sandoxy types of games where we can do smart things with what we're given, make up some indirect ideas and execute those to solve whatever issues there are. It applies to when combat starts as well - as fun it is to throw fireballs, it gets a bit old after you do it 20, 30, 50, however many times, so some smart approaches is what I try to do whenever possible.  Thanks to my pretty ezpz work schedule, I'm more or less capable to play text games at any time of the day except when I'm asleep (midnight-7 AM in GMT+3 zone), and voice games after ~4.30 PM. Can stay for night sessions too, but prefer not to if possible. I also prefer for sessions to not be more than 6 hours if possible, because it takes quite a bit of a strain on attention and not falling asleep, heh.

Heya, I'm Medea (31f).  I've been playing various ttrpgs on and off for more than 15years, and D&D 5e specifically (2014) for about years. My main draw to ttrpgs is the roleplaying aspect, I love creating characters with interesting backstories and plenty of big and small hooks for possible sidequests and personal involvements, and then exploring the setting and campaign through that character's eyes! I'm very flexible about what class and species I end up playing, though rogues and warlocks are my favourites I can comfortably fill pretty much any role a party might need for balance. I love coming up with backstories alongside at least one other player and work out a nice tie-in into the main story of the campaign to make my character really fit with the theme and the party. I also really enjoy combat, especially encounters that feel meaningful to the story and require a little bit of strategy and clever thinking. I also do like exploration, but since I have no sense of direction nor distance and cannot visually imagine things, it can be a bit tough on me and I always work better with (battle-) maps and visual aids. In a D&D group, I really look for a harmonic table, a group of players that is accepting, supportive of each other, and enjoying spending time together. In my opinion, you know a table is solid when the characters a facing conflict amongst each other but the players still work as a team and enjoy playing out the difficulties without animosity. I should probably mention that I'm very asexual and don't enjoy sexism or any sort of sexual content at the table, neither in-game nor outside of it.  Finally, there's not too much to tell about myself. I live in Central Europe, I love classic horror movies and all sorts of classic and dark fantasy stories (I'm an especially big fan of the Witcher novels and the older Dragon Age games!), and I've recently been trying to get back into writing again! I can be a bit quiet when I join a new group, but usually that goes away reasonably quickly once I feel welcome! I do have minor audio processing issues, so I may occasionally ask for people to repeat themselves because my brain refuses to take in information sometimes.

Heyo, I'm Bo, 30 and queer. Been playing DND since 2019 ish, haven't had the chance to explore other systems and DND somehow always seems the easiest to find a game for. I only recently decided to try voice games as I've been playing through live text usually. Critical Role is what got me into dnd and rpg stuff but I've been loving Bards of New York lately, and when I say lately it's been over a year of constantly watching their stuff. Other than that I love Witcher, Dragon Age, Skyrim obviously, fantasy is my main genre I think, though I like watching sci fi movies and shows. Bioshock Infinite is another game I love, and I love horror media, just not a fan of slashers and very gore focused things, which is why Mike Flanagan's stuff is my favorite but also I say that and yet zombie media is also something I enjoy so lmao. I usually prefer RP over combat but I figured combat can be very useful to test your creativity and problem solving as well, just not looking to solely be focused on that. I'm in the gmt+2 timezone, usually prefer evening games in my time and currently Saturday evenings are occupied by me DM-ing. I would also like to add that I have a pretty old laptop and I'm pretty sure most if not all VTTs just don't work on it, if that's a must for games.

Hello adventurers! We are a beginner-friendly D&D Discord community with over 50 members, originally started as a small helping/tutorial server for new players who wanted to get into D&D without having to pay for anything. The server is still very welcoming to beginners, but experienced players are also invited, especially if you enjoy roleplay, storytelling, helping newer players learn the game, or even running your own sessions. At the moment, we have a core group of active members, with people playing or interacting almost daily. We currently run two main types of games: 1. Adventurers Guild / West Marches-inspired one-shots This is our open-table system. I created an Adventurers Guild that posts bounties, missions, and one-shot adventures. Players can join when they are available, without needing to commit to a long campaign from the start. These games mostly use D&D 5e 2024 rules, but 2014 content and homebrew may also be allowed, depending on the DM. 2. Classic homebrew campaigns Other members can also become DMs, post their own campaign ideas, gather 4–6 players, and run their own homebrew campaign in their own channel. This can be in our shared universe or in a completely separate custom setting. My personal DM style is more focused on roleplay, story, atmosphere, and fun character moments rather than strict rules or overly complicated combat. I am very open to helping new players learn and giving people a relaxed space to try D&D. Most of my sessions are usually in the evening, around 19:00–20:00 until 23:00–00:00 GMT+2, but we also have people from different time zones, so other games may happen at different hours depending on the DM and group. We are also open to people interested in becoming Dungeon Masters. Anyone who wants to host a session can get the DM role, post a message to gather players, or create a dedicated channel for their own campaign. I'm Mark! I'm a 50-something tabletop enthusiast. Been playing and GMing since my early teens. I love both traditional board and card games and RPGs. I'm a video game developer professionally and a hobbyist game designer on the side. I enjoy running RPGs in multiple genres and systems. My current go-to "official" system is Index Card RPG, and I have two homebrew systems in development. I'm not a huge fan of D&D because of the cost, heavy ruleset, and recent direction in terms of subscription model and social posturing. Hi there!  I'm a mature player looking for a game with people who love the comraderie of roleplay. I enjoy a game that is heavy RP balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against.  I'm in your world now. Play Style:  I'm serious about having fun.  I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups that are focused on the campaign at hand.  I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters fun for the other players as well as the GM. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story.  I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road.  I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules.  I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session.  I'm not adverse to long sessions, provided we have appropriate intermissions. Themes:  I'm less interested in horror, more interested in high fantasy settings. Experience:  I haven't played much for two or three years, so I'll need a bit of help getting back up to speed. I know nothing about 5e 2024 rule changes. I'm generally a quick study and willing to learn anything new.  I'd prefer a DnD 5e 2014 game, but would be willing to learn 2024 and I do have some experience with PF2e.  I have GMed homebrews in 5e on several occasions, but my first choice is to participate as a member of the party. I prefer Foundry VTT, but I have participated in past games using Roll20 and DndBeyond.  I have fairly in depth knowlege of the inner workings of FVTTv12/13. Prefered Times:  I'm in Ontario Canada (UTC-4) and would prefer games that were afternoons or evenings local time.  North American games or evening UK/EU games can fit my schedule nicely.  My schedule is fairly open, so I'm easy to accommodate.  My ideal schedule would be a weekly game of at least 3-4 hours. Hey! I am Moral (Levente), I started DnD a few months ago. I have played with a few different groups, both with Hungarian and English, but haven't really found my group yet. I like both the role-play and combat part of DnD and am not mad if either of them is in the focus more than the other. I like sarcastic humour and will use it quite often. Hello I am bubbles I am 25+ years of age, looking for games in 2014 5E. I am a roleplayer first but enjoy combat a fair bit. I like immersing myself in the worlds as my character and am big into DND lore. I can fill just about any role you need me to in a party dynamic with character concepts for just about any of them. I like making weird builds to do Niche things, rather than focusing on explicitly efficiency / power.  I am most used to roll20 but am willing to learn other VTT's if nessesary so long as I have someone who can walk me through it I am not looking for a game in 5.5e / 2024 or whatever we are calling it now and am not looking for play-by-post games, I am looking for voiced games which allow for me to role play.  I AM LGBTQ+ friendly  I prefer to play as "outsider" characters who are learning about the world as I the player am, the exceptions to this being when I have something I am rooted to like elements from DND lore. Hello, I'm 18 and I'm currently looking for play DnD as a new player and I'm having a very, very hard time looking for a game. My schedule is awful to say at least and with my off days never being on the same days, the best I can do is work around the hours I have. So, that means that I can only really play after work. And I get off work at 11 PM EST, basically every day since I'm the closing shift! Apart from that however, I can play on any day and I can stay up late to play in the early morning. The latest I can stay up for is around 10 AM EST.
