Greetings and Salutations Adventurer. Names Hjonker but you can just call me Dm. I am a Game master and have been predominantly running DND games for 5 years now. Mostly i have been stuck being the forever DM but have been playng recetly myself. I generally as a DM enjoy a lot of different style of games from crunching numbers and tactical combat to more lighthearted or serious roleplay. More keen of the classical dnd advanterous style of gameplay myself. I love running serious stories but cant stop to crack some lighthearted jokes here and there. My main focus tho regardless of what game, theme or wolrd I am running, are the players and their characters. The main force that shakes the story and keeps things intrigueing. I love delving in and exploring the backstories and integrating them in the main plot of the campaign(and im a firm believer that should be the standard for most games)

Well met, stranger. I'm hiddenson. I've played different rpgs since the 90's, both as GM and as player, and I'm getting back on the saddle. I prefer GMing because I love world building and long-term campaigns, tuning preset worlds to my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is deeply immersive, often choosing to play the right track at the right second for the right scene. That said, I enjoy the acting and teamwork part of playing, so I'd like to do that as well from time to time. I recently launched a paid Vampire: The Masquerade Chronicle, so I'm willing to trade seats if our playstyles and game list match. As this is my player profile, I'd like to focus on roleplay heavy horror games. I'd love to play other settings of the World of Darkness. I have a lot of experience in the previous edition of Call of Cthulhu set in the Roaring Twenties, so I'm sure I can adapt to the new edition easily. Lastly, I have little to no experience in the other titles, but I'd like the chance to try them out to round up the horror genre. When it comes to my playing style, I'm roleplay focused and lean into characters keen on knowledge and lore rather than riches. Think erudite professors, librarians looking for eldritch tomes, and tomb raiding archaeologists. When I GM, I lean towards Rule of Cool, and I favor players who invest creativity in their characters. I have been playing DnD for 10+ years, and I am very familiar with the mechanics and rules of both DnD and Pathfinder I have no strong preferences towards the type of campaign I play whether it be RP or Combat leaning, I also enjoy interacting with the table outside of games and making friends, I am of the belief that We all play this game to have fun and enjoy ourselves. I am also comfortable with practically any setting, I am LGBTQ+ friendly and respectful of everyone at the table and their characters. I also like to take notes as I play. I do strongly prefer games with Homebrew as a lot of things I do with my characters require Homebrew. I have alot of character Ideas I would like to try and I have my own easily integrateable lore for them.

I am a grown adult and have some limited experience playing D&D 5e I'm looking for a group that plays regularly on a week night (not Fridays). I work a job that can be unpredictable at times where I can have mandatory overtime that's given the day of which could occasionally have an impact on my ability to play. That said I intend to attend on a consistent schedule, I don't mind a small fee for the GM as long as the game is run well, fair and most importantly fun. Game play persona, I enjoy combat and thinking out side of the box for quirky fun solutions. I can play a serious character or a silly but game focused character. For what it's worth my favorite character to play is a cleric, I can do battle, healer or a mix of both ! So if you need a healer, I can be your guy! I prefer a game where the GM makes it a fun challenge but doesn't railroad the campaign nor do they make it so complex where I'm spending more time making notes than playing the game. I have no issues playing with whoever (adults) so long as everyone keeps politics and religion out of the game session :) of course except those which apply to the game.

I started learning about dnd 5e in 2021, so I'm aware of the most basic rules, but I haven't had the chance to play in person. My favourite game is Baldur's Gate 3, and while it's based on dnd rules, it doesn't fulfill the desire to play with a community for me as I've played solo.

TTRPG player based in Melbourne (AEST), looking for a consistent group that values thoughtful storytelling, strong table dynamics, collaborative play and finishing campaigns. My playstyle sits between narrative and systems. I care about character arcs, party cohesion, and thematic depth, but I also engage properly with mechanics—decisions should matter, and the system should have weight. I’m particularly drawn to settings with strong worldbuilding, moral tension, or mythic/spiritual undertones rather than pure power fantasy. Experience-wise, I’ve played D&D and adjacent systems, and although i am a newbie at TTRPGs, I am a skilled board game player and used to run board game groups so I’m comfortable picking up new rules quickly. I also design board games on the side, so I tend to engage with systems analytically without disrupting flow. At the table, I’m reliable, communicative, and respectful of pacing and spotlight balance. I prefer collaborative groups over chaotic or meme-heavy play. Not interested in flakey scheduling or competitive groups with alpha players. For games, I am more drawn to immersive worlds with meaningful decisions than combat heavy game systems. From the moment I found the monster manual in a game shop all those years ago, my fate was sealed.
