Hi, french adult player here. Experienced in PF2E Been DM for years and played one campaign to completion. Went through different groups that dissolved in the low levels and now looking for one where everyone is commited about playing. I like to play gishes and have been wanting to play a magus up to high level for a long time. I'm not interrested in doing the focus spellstrike cheese though, but I do hope the class get reworked...or that homebrew is fine I am a furry, lgbt friendly group and no ai, non negociable.

I am a semi retired 54 year old male & have about 10+ years of DnD experience, new & old. I am free to play most anytime around the 2 groups I am currently involved in. In person is preferable but I am very excited to do some more online sessions. I participated in a few during Covid but the game is shifting to online & im very intrigued with all the assets available in this format. I'm an experienced DM (over 9 years). I'm the head of a creative studio in an AAA-related gaming company. As such, I have a wide background and experience in painting, video editing, motion design, and general graphic design. I'm a fantasy lover, a medieval history buff, and a martial artist, so if it has capes, I'm in! I'm a married father of three with a dog (so four technically because she is very much like a daughter to me). I generally love dad jokes and word puns. I always mean my puns! In general, I always prefer sessions with video on for online campaigns as I believe being able to see each other's expressions helps with the immersion and also just makes everything a bit more "f2f" IRL feeling.

I love story‑driven, character‑focused games with a good splash of combat rather than pure dungeon crawls. My favourite crew to watch is the Oxventurers Guild, so I’m looking for similar rule‑of‑cool vibes – fast and loose when it makes the story more epic or hilarious, with room for gallows humour and messy characters. Experience‑wise, I’m new to playing but not to worlds, story, or character building. I’ve watched a lot of D&D actual play and played the video game versions of several systems, so I understand the basics and I’m a quick learner. My system experience runs pretty wide: D&D 5e got me through the door, but I've since fallen hard for Vampire the Masquerade, Mage the Ascension, and a handful of Powered by the Apocalypse games. Player Experience I am still somewhat of a beginner at DnD, but I have played a few games, so I get most of the basics. Availability Almost any day of the week from 6 AM - 3 PM (GMT-5/CDT) Game Style Pretty flexible about playstyle and more than open to playing whatever the party needs, though the classes I have the most experience in are Barbarian and Druid. Open to most settings and campaigns whether they be more casual or 18+ though I would absolutely love to do a more gothic horror campaign like one around "Guide to the Eldritch Hunt" especially if it includes the "Bloodborne Monster Manual" As someone directly added the enemies from bloodborne to DnD which is what "Guide to the Eldritch Hunt" is based off of.

Hi! I am a very experienced player/GM that's been in the TTRPG scene for 12 years now, going through a number of systems and always learning more. I have a heavy focus on the role playing part of the game that still enjoys combat, especially trying to make silly or gimmicky combat styles work. I prefer a more serious tone of game with jokes made by the players rather than everything being a joke from the outset, but I do love having a few good laughs a session (without going too off track). I've both DM'd and played for most of the games listed in my experience and most of then for more than a year apiece, but I'm always willing to learn more and generally prefer a rullings over rules approach that lets players and GMs be a bit more out of the box with their thinking and improv-ing

Hello everyone! my name is Blair, and I am a player looking for more games to play! my schedule just recently opened up, and i need to roll dice and tell some stories! a bit about me: a bulk of my TTRPG experience comes from playing 2014, but i do have experience playing other systems as well, such as Candela Obscura, Daggerheart, Pathfinder, and I've even played a homebrew version of DND. when it comes to me as a player, i do tend to play spellcasters, it just intrigues me a lot more than the martial classes, and when I do play martial classes, i always give them limited magic. I'm also a pretty respectful tablemate, i try to give my fellow players a chance to get involved. along with that, I do engage in romance, both PC and NPC, just depends on whether or not the table is down with that! oh, speaking of romance, i am Queer and trans! with the world that we exist in, I find that it is better for my table to know that upfront than learn that not only am I not cis but also, I like both boys and girls, it's just a fact of life. with that you must be a Queer and trans friendly table as well as a disabled friendly table since I am disabled as well! now to move onto a gm I would prefer: typically, how I'd parse out a potential good GM for me to play under, is I'd do a one-shot with them and see if we're a good fit, and if we can have good conversation, but considering the nature of a post like this, I am willing to forego that! that being said, you still need to have the following: be America-based and even more specifically be CST-based- since I am based in North America, I just can't do uber late games. it's not good for my mental health, and it causes me to be a terrible person for responding to DMs. RP skills - this doesn't mean that you shouldn't at least try to incorporate combat in your sessions but i need those RP skills sharpened to the max! homebrew vs. Module - I am willing to play a module but i would prefer a homebrew world. it shows that you are more than willing to be flexible with your players' stories and want to share that creativity with the world at large. recording vs basic home game - I am very okay and do consent to a recorded game, considering i have been in a few actual plays! that, however, does not mean that i will turn my nose up at a basic home game, in fact that is one of my favorites!

Hello, I am a relatively new player looking to join or from a playgroup. I've played 4 group sessions since 2023 but was never able to finish one due to schedules conflicts. My significant other and I have gone through 2 short couples themed campaigns with more planned, with most of my experience is with 5/5.5e. I am looking for a consistent, long term group, with Sunday: 9am-9pm PST. Monday - Thursday 4pm-10pm PST preferred. My availability is open for weekly, bi-weekly etc. I am most interested groups that will have a pretty even spread of RP, story/world building, exploration, and combat just to name a few (these can tilt per session as required.) A semi-serious setting would be preferred, in overall tone and theme. iv done tabletop with friends before and always was the GM. i even tried to run my own textbased game but could never keep those alive, people eventually just stopped responding even after multiple reminders its their turn in combat. so im looking to be a player this time instead. im fine with both roll20 and discord text play or a öove gameplay deal over roll 20 or similar sites. the three characters i can for DND offer are: -a kobold demolitionist (comic relief obsessed with explosives. this guy would use a more explosives focused subclass for artificer i found on reddit if thats ok with your game) -a tribal tabaxi guy with spear who moves fast and haresses enemies in melee (this character is very cruel and would be only suited to serious games) -a harengon geomancer (this guy would only use earth and stone themed spells and im partial to reflavoring existing spells as earth ones) for other settings i usually have one character per setting. NOTE: im not interested in character creation involving rolled stats i dont like rng deciding my stats i prefer pointbuy.

Been part of a Candela Obscura table for about 2 years every other Tuesday. Love that so much got a tattoo of it. Tried to branch out to roll 20 discord voice for a few months, got enjoyment out of it but i started to feel pressured to 'perform'. I also hated how an entire session could be filled up with just combat. While combat is fun, if it is number crunchy and too long it just feels like a waste of time. I'm a rp and lore junky. I loved the characters and story of my campaigns, did not care or know really how to make a super powerful and dps build. Which tells me while I prefer combat to be more rp prone. I'm a 34 year old mailman and husband and father, so time is very tight. I will post at least 5 posts a day. Depending on the workload and how high maintenance the family is, and if I find the pbp compelling, I might do a lot more. I hope so. That's why I ultimately ended up bowing out of the dnd. So my next stepping stone in my ttrpg journey is to find a pbp that posts normally that focuses on rp and story. While I appreciate the chaos and uncertainty of the dice it shouldn't be at the deterrent of player creativity, or fun, or rule of cool. But that's just me. I can learn any system or setting, I'm a smart dude. I value the people and the pc and the story over all. Also, I'm from Kansas. In the US. Normal sleep schedule. So CDT is where I'm at. That has been an issue before. I've never done paid pbp before but if the quality of the campaign, and set up, and pace is good enough I have no issue helping with a few dollars to the gm

But – even if I didn't play a lot of combat – I view combat as an extension of the story that can be character-driven moments or character expression. I would be the kind of person to try to do combos with my teammates or attempt a risky backflip for the sake of the scene (even if I fail the check!). I like to make them cinematic and more realistic too. I love building deep connections with other player characters and working with the GM to weave my character's growth into the larger narrative. Hi, I'm Olaf in my mid 40's and doing this hobby for... well decades is I assume correct. I played and run dozens of campaigns from scratch homebrew to puplished, though i really prefer homebrew, puplished stuff... well get's derailed quickly, at least that is my ex111perience. I'm at home with some of the major systems, like 5e, PF1 & 2 (actually translated some of the earlier 2end edition stuff), W:TA, M:TA (so in general the storyteller systems, mostly 2nd to aniversary), but also with some of the more unknown and niche stuff not many folks know (like 1st and 2nd edition Alternity, Stormbringer and other even more obscure stuff - no not cringe stuff, just obscure like "Ruf des Warlock", a D30 based system that needs a graphical calculator, or Gemeni). Well and Classics, Aventurica/DSA 2nd and 3rd, AD&D 2nd in all it's strange glory and very strange optional rulesets. So been there done that. My time frame is a bit wonky, but sincerly i need a break from my routine, reason why pbm is actually not that bad an option - if everyone is disciplined - I go normaly by traffic light system (Red = NO; Yellow = maybe; Green = OK) in regards to communicate what i'm fine with in a session. I can stomach some stuff - mind me not everything - but there are lines not to be crossede, but this is for a session zero. I'm comfortable with English and German, and prefer neither. Some quirks: I do gender crossplay, noting this as not everyone is comfortable with this. I tend to go for anthro themed characters, i have more fun with completly non-human characters depicting. Hmm what else... I bring in method acting, so if using voice chat, 'tis normal if i sound very diffrently while ic or being ooc. But by no means i need that from everyone, i just enjoy it personally. I'm 34M in Bournemouth UK and over the last 5 years I've run a multi year 5e campaign as DM and am now running another with 5.5e, me and my players only get to play on Fridays or Saturdays that work for all of us which can be a struggle sometimes but I need more dice rolling in my life! So I'm looking to join a game as a player. I'm up for anything, silly, serious or a mix and enjoy both combat and roleplay and would love to have both but am fine if the game leans more heavily on either. I don't have any topics or sensitive subjects that I'd need to be avoided but am happy to play with them for the comfort of the DM and fellow players. I work nights and stick to this routine for days off so would ideally play in the evenings in the UK or any time in the US/Canada. Full disclosure my work is shift based but in a fixed pattern so I know my availability way in advance and the niche shifts I work means I get plenty of days off (I work 7 in 17 days, 3 on 5 off followed by 4 on 5 off). Very familiar with roll20s VTT and a little experience with Dndbeyond too, happy to learn others if required though!

I'm Daniel, a 28yo dude looking to play either online or in person in the Minden, Nevada area. Can play pretty much any time on Wednesdays, preferably every other week. Looking for group and DM to play with that meets consistantly for a long term game. Experience: Been playing D&D on and off since maybe 2016, and have DM'd several games, though I'm looking to just be a player. Most of my experience is with 3.5e, though I'm farely familiar with 5e and have played a few one shots. I've also played Pathfinder 1e. Note that I haven't played anything in a few years now, so I may be a little rusty. I'm mostly looking to play D&D5e with some 2024 content, as I quite like some of the stuff they've done with the races, classes, and backgrounds. I don't know that I want to play a module. I'd rather play in a homebrew game, whether set in the Forgotten Realms or a similar setting. Class/Race Preferences: I love Warlocks and Necromancers first and foremost. Other classes I enjoy are Rogue, Paladin, and Critical Role's Blood Hunter, as well as Druids. As for races, I love Tieflings, Aasimar, Drow, but am also down to play a simple human from time to time if it fits the character I wanna make. At the moment I've got an idea for Chthonic Tiefling GOOlock that I'm itching to play. Role Play/Combat: My favorite games I've been in were pretty heavy in RP and made me feel an emotional connection to the player characters. At the same time, I do enjoy combat and enjoy the power fantasy of playing strong characters (though I'm also very into making an aesthetically/thematically pleasing character that may not be as strong as they could be). When it comes to combat, I don't like games where every combat encounter is Dark Souls the TTRPG. I don't mind a challenging encounter that makes me think tactically, or even the occasional encounter that isn't meant to be won, but when every encounter feels like the party is severely out-matched, that's when it stops being fun (I've been in one of those kinds of games). As I mentioned before, I do enjoy a good power fantasy, so balancing challenging encounters with some that are a breeze and make the players feel bad-ass, is the way to go for me. General Content: I like high and dark fantasy, horror, epic stories, emotional connections between characters. While I tend to lean toward serious characters and stories, comedic relief is more than welcome (and generally inevitable in my experience). Adult Content: I'm fine with mature themes if everyone else is.

I run a D&D Server on Discord and I have a main group of players during Weekends and I want to supplement my VTT gaming with a second crew. I specialize in Horror/Roleplay/Survival and Psychological Terror, though I do love to intermix Comedy and Humor in there. While I do enjoy Combat, it is not usually the main focus of my campaigns.
