Hello there! My name is Blaze, I'm a 27 y/o transfem, and I've recently decided to dive into learning about World of Darkness and giving it a shot. I've currently bought the core books for Vampire, Werewolf, and Hunter (all 5e) and am down for learning and playing those, or trying out the 20th anniversary games (though I'd need some way of accessing the rules for those). I'm available on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays from 8am to 12pm PST (sometimes available late at night depending on my work schedule). I'd love to find a group to explore the world of gothic punk horror with!  I like strong and engaging roleplay, with plenty of opportunities to explore my and others' characters, though I also enjoy a good combat. I can be a bit shy with new groups, but if the group is willing to welcome me in, I usually open up pretty fast. I'm still learning about WoD, but if I were to give some thought about character types I might wanna play (I've only skimmed the rulebooks so far): Vampire: Brujah, Tzimice, Nosferatu, or maybe Ventrue Werewolf: Bone Gnawer, Black Fury, Ghost Council, Hart Warden, or Silent Strider Hunter: Inquisitive, Faithful, or Underground Mage: Dunno much, but I'd probably lean towards a Traditions character, though Technocracy could be fun too The rest: I don't know enough about player options in the other games.

Hello. I go by Net. I'm a creative with a background in collaborative storytelling that started long before tabletop. My roots are in book-based roleplay and written fiction, so character voice, motivation, and internal consistency matter a lot to me. I carry that same approach to the table. My TTRPG experience is honest but specific. I've played a handful of One Piece-themed D&D homebrew one-shots and two proper D&D sessions, so I'm genuinely newer to true tabletop compared to some. That said, I'm currently active in a living campaign built on a hybrid D&D 5e, Pathfinder 2e, and Naruto 5e ruleset, and I've picked things up fast. I'm not afraid to ask questions, and I do the reading. I also have special needs that can make processing dense information a bit slower. It has never stopped me from being a full, committed player, but I wanted to be upfront about it. Playstyle: Roleplay-first. I build characters from the inside out, starting with a concept, a voice, and a reason for existing in the world. I enjoy mechanical depth and I'm not against combat, but what keeps me at the table is character work, political texture, and a story that rewards investment. Morally complex scenarios are a plus. What I bring: Genuine investment in the shared story and a strong creative instinct shaped by years of writing and collaborative fiction. Outside of tabletop I work with streamers and artists on creative projects, so I think about storytelling and world-building with some intentionality. Inspirations: One Piece is a big one for tone. I'm drawn to stories that balance levity with real consequence, and worlds that feel like they existed before the players arrived. Logistics: Based in the UK (GMT). Online games preferred. I'm a reliable, consistent presence when I commit. Reservations: Pure dungeon-crawl with minimal story isn't really my thing. I want to care about what's happening and who I'm sharing the table with.

iv done tabletop with friends before and always was the GM. i even tried to run my own textbased game but could never keep those alive, people eventually just stopped responding even after multiple reminders its their turn in combat. so im looking to be a player this time instead. im fine with both roll20 and discord text play or a öove gameplay deal over roll 20 or similar sites. the three characters i can for DND offer are: -a kobold demolitionist (comic relief obsessed with explosives. this guy would use a more explosives focused subclass for artificer i found on reddit if thats ok with your game) -a tribal tabaxi guy with spear who moves fast and haresses enemies in melee (this character is very cruel and would be only suited to serious games) -a harengon geomancer (this guy would only use earth and stone themed spells and im partial to reflavoring existing spells as earth ones) for other settings i usually have one character per setting. NOTE: im not interested in character creation involving rolled stats i dont like rng deciding my stats i prefer pointbuy.

Been part of a Candela Obscura table for about 2 years every other Tuesday. Love that so much got a tattoo of it. Tried to branch out to roll 20 discord voice for a few months, got enjoyment out of it but i started to feel pressured to 'perform'. I also hated how an entire session could be filled up with just combat. While combat is fun, if it is number crunchy and too long it just feels like a waste of time.  I'm a rp and lore junky. I loved the characters and story of my campaigns, did not care or know really how to make a super powerful and dps build. Which tells me while I prefer combat to be more rp prone.  I'm a 34 year old mailman and husband and father, so time is very tight.  I will post at least 5 posts a day. Depending on the workload and how high maintenance the family is, and if I find the pbp compelling, I might do a lot more. I hope so. That's why I ultimately ended up bowing out of the dnd.  So my next stepping stone in my ttrpg journey is to find a pbp that posts normally that focuses on rp and story. While I appreciate the chaos and uncertainty of the dice it shouldn't be at the deterrent of player creativity, or fun, or rule of cool. But that's just me.  I can learn any system or setting, I'm a smart dude. I value the people and the pc and the story over all. Also, I'm from Kansas. In the US. Normal sleep schedule. So CDT is where I'm at. That has been an issue before. I've never done paid pbp before but if the quality of the campaign, and set up, and pace is good enough I have no issue helping with a few dollars to the gm

Hey all! I’ve been a Storyteller for Chronicles of Darkness games, but I’ve never been a player for the World of Darkness. I want to change that by being a player for a free Werewolf: the Apocalypse 5th Edition game, I have a character concept in mind but it’s not set in stone so I have no issues making adjustments to the character. I'm 29 turning 30 in April, I’ve been a Texan my whole life, and I work a steady 9-to-5 job. Gaming doubles as a social activity for me so it’s important that there’s chemistry both on and off the table. I’m very interested in roleplay and character development between both party members and NPCs. While I’m not crazy about combat I can strategize if I’m given a bit of context and I enjoy exploring the GM’s world to learn more about it. I’m respectful and accepting of others no matter their race, religion, gender, creed, orientation, etc. I am looking for a long-term Chronicle to join with depth and lore, friendly and relaxed people at the table would definitely be a plus. I would be fine playing the evening on either Tuesday, Thursdays, or Fridays for a few hours, preferably stopping the game at 9:00 pm.

Heya, all! I know this is a bit of a longshot, but I have a FIERCE hankering for some World of Darkness of just about any flavor. New, Old, Chronicles of, it's a big wide World of Darkness and I'm looking to play any game in any edition/rendition of the setting. I have twenty years of off-and-on TTRPG and roleplay experience and have played two games across two different versions of Vampire (technically three, but one never left the "design characters" stage). I'm a huge fan of narrative games of deeply-woven politics and manipulation and welcome the opportunity to bring my sensibilities to your table. I love to put my characters into as much of a vise as I can and to then to watch the fireworks as they try to salvage what they can of their life. Or... maybe unlife in many Vampire contexts. My preference for game format is over voice through Zoom or Discord and to play on VTT such as Roll20 or Foundry (or any other I haven't heard of yet). I'm completely unspoiled — never played it, never read it, only know the name Strahd von Zarovich. I want the full experience completely fresh. As a player I'm a hybrid — I engage deeply with roleplay AND tactical combat, and I combine both at the table. I describe my actions in detail, speak in character during encounters, and react genuinely to story beats. I have a background in creative writing and am an aspiring voice actor with training, so character voice and presence are things I take seriously. I play on open camera and I'm expressive — you'll always know exactly how I'm feeling about what's happening at the table. I invest heavily in my characters. I don't just build mechanics, I build people with psychological depth, consistent motivations and genuine emotional stakes. I'm also highly collaborative — I'd rather work with my DM before session zero to make sure my character serves the story and creates interesting dynamics than show up with something rigid that doesn't fit. 25+ years of experience with 3e/3.5/PF1. Normally I'm happy to GM permanently or take turns, but I've been dealing with chronic health issues which make game preparations unreliable. I'm currently on disability, so I have both excessive free time and extremely limited funds (non-paid games preferred).  I'm open 11AM to 10PM EST every day, except Sunday, alternating Tuesday evenings, and Saturday evenings.
