Hi, I’m Jamie, an Australian‑based player finally jumping from watching YouTube into actually rolling some dice myself. I love story‑driven, character‑focused games with a good splash of combat rather than pure dungeon crawls. My favourite crew to watch is the Oxventurers Guild, so I’m looking for similar rule‑of‑cool vibes – fast and loose when it makes the story more epic or hilarious, with room for gallows humour and messy characters. Experience‑wise, I’m new to playing but not to worlds, story, or character building. I’ve watched a lot of D&D actual play and played the video game versions of several systems, so I understand the basics and I’m a quick learner. I’m neurodivergent, so I really appreciate patient tables who don’t mind the occasional rules reminder or technical question. Right now I’m playing with a few different character ideas and arcs, especially for Call of Cthulhu, so if you’re a GM who loves developing things with players and doesn’t mind getting a little weird with it, we’ll definitely get along well. I enjoy morally grey characters and rich story, and I don’t mind losing my character if it makes for a great moment in the narrative. I’m in ACST and looking for online games. Evenings and weekends are generally best; I can commit to a regular weekly or fortnightly session if the vibe is right, and I do my best to show up consistently and communicate if life gets in the way. Hi, you can call me Gremlin. I've played D&D5e since 2014, and have played PF2e nearly 2 years now. Ive had a few PF1e sessions but didn't dive in much due to the DM's style of railroading the party with gags. While i have a lot of love for 5e for what it has given me in my life, I feel much of it's setting and lore are very watered down or currently absent. I haven't played much with the 2024 rule update. However, I have always been a fan of 4e and would love to play in a 4e game, FREE, or even a PF1e game. Any other TTRPG listed in my tags are all games I'd like to try. Im very flexible in my playatyle as im willing to fill whatever role a party needs and have no trouble trying out a different class than what I originally had in mind. I dont MIN/MAX, and i tend to work closely with any GM who runs the game. I'm a team player and all for helping the party work through mysteries, encounters, or brainstorm how to overcome a challenge. I always try to adapt a baxkstory to the GM's game and settings, and work with players to have forged relationships pre-game if desired. Im LGBTQ friendly, open-minded, and love meeting new people.

Hi there! I'm Frau Elster, 33, located in Hanover, Germany. I have been playing TTRPGs for roughly a year now. It became quite an hyperfixation and thanks to a local open club I've gotten the chance to test some systems and get an idea of what I enjoy in this game. Ideally, of course, the group vibes and gets along. That's a wish of mine but of course can't be forced. I tend to enjoy smaller groups up to 4, sometimes 5, on a bi-weekly schedule in the evening. I love creating complex characters with a few defining moments already having happened to them to help flesh them out. It didn't happen yet but I'd love to experience what it's like to have a ongoing campaign that weaves in the characters' backgrounds. Usually I have a concept in mind before I create a character and then read through _a lot_ of materials and sources to find the build and world-related backgrounds that fit. For example: I am in the midst of creating a tabaxi stardruid whose base idea was that she looks like a black jaguar and has the constellations map right there in the spots of her fur. Or I knew I wanted a gnome raised by ice giants who draws her magic from the aurora and can hit really hard and now I have several tabs open haha I enjoy good atmospheric horror and am actually thinking about hosting The Magnus Archive TTRPG. But that's a project for the future. Coming from a theatre background I love roleplay and the chaotic rule of cool being applied more than dungeon crawling, rule crunching and min/max-ing. Social encounters and exploration are big to me. Do you know that one friend who needs to check every question mark in a video game? Yeah that's me (and is also a reason why I love Breath of the Wild. Exploring was very much rewarded in this game.) As a GM I love putting in puzzles but that is always a hit or miss with me as a player. In general I would say I am a bit of a chaotic player who enjoys discussing and brainstorming with the others.

Morri | 5+ Years | Player Hey! I'm Morri, a roleplay-focused player who's been at this hobby for over five years and has absolutely no plans to stop. My system experience runs pretty wide: D&D 5e got me through the door, but I've since fallen hard for Vampire the Masquerade, Mage the Ascension, and a handful of Powered by the Apocalypse games. At this point I'm drawn to anything with strong character work and room to dig into the fiction. What I care most about at the table is collaboration. Building something with the people around me that none of us could have made alone. I love games where characters have real relationships, messy motivations, and space to grow (or spectacularly fall apart). Dark and mature themes are absolutely on the table for me when they serve the story. I'm online-only and looking for long-term campaigns, the kind where you're still talking about what happened six months later. If you're building something with staying power and want a player who will show up, get invested, and write you a three-paragraph backstory that ties into your lore, I'm your person.

Open to most settings and campaigns whether they be more casual or 18+ though I would absolutely love to do a more gothic horror campaign like one around "Guide to the Eldritch Hunt" especially if it includes the "Bloodborne Monster Manual" As someone directly added the enemies from bloodborne to DnD which is what "Guide to the Eldritch Hunt" is based off of.

I like immersing myself in the worlds as my character and am big into DND lore. I can fill just about any role you need me to in a party dynamic with character concepts for just about any of them. I like making weird builds to do Niche things, rather than focusing on explicitly efficiency / power. I am most used to roll20 but am willing to learn other VTT's if nessesary so long as I have someone who can walk me through it I do not looking for a game in 5.5e / 2024 or whatever we are calling it now and am not looking for play-by-post games, I am looking for voiced games which allow for me to role play. Now most of my core trrpg group has either grown up or grown to cool to continue playing so I'm looking for a new D&D experience online! A combat map + hours to resolve combat is a turn off to me. I've currently bought the core books for Vampire, Werewolf, and Hunter (all 5e) and am down for learning and playing those, or trying out the 20th anniversary games (though I'd need some way of accessing the rules for those). I'm available on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays from 8am to 12pm PST (sometimes available late at night depending on my work schedule). iv done tabletop with friends before and always was the GM. i even tried to run my own textbased game but could never keep those alive, people eventually just stopped responding even after multiple reminders its their turn in combat. so im looking to be a player this time instead. im fine with both roll20 and discord text play or a öove gameplay deal over roll 20 or similar sites. the three characters i can for DND offer are: -a kobold demolitionist (comic relief obsessed with explosives. this guy would use a more explosives focused subclass for artificer i found on reddit if thats ok with your game) -a tribal tabaxi guy with spear who moves fast and haresses enemies in melee (this character is very cruel and would be only suited to serious games) -a harengon geomancer (this guy would only use earth and stone themed spells and im partial to reflavoring existing spells as earth ones) for other settings i usually have one character per setting. NOTE: im not interested in character creation involving rolled stats i dont like rng deciding my stats i prefer pointbuy.

I am a GM and player of many systems, but mostly rules-light and OSR style games. I've ran a lot of Tales from the Loop, and have played a lot of Alien RPG, but also Mothership, Cy_Borg, Call of Cthulhu and many others.

Been part of a Candela Obscura table for about 2 years every other Tuesday. Love that so much got a tattoo of it. Tried to branch out to roll 20 discord voice for a few months, got enjoyment out of it but i started to feel pressured to 'perform'. I also hated how an entire session could be filled up with just combat. While combat is fun, if it is number crunchy and too long it just feels like a waste of time. I'm a rp and lore junky. I loved the characters and story of my campaigns, did not care or know really how to make a super powerful and dps build. Which tells me while I prefer combat to be more rp prone. I'm a 34 year old mailman and husband and father, so time is very tight. I will post at least 5 posts a day. Depending on the workload and how high maintenance the family is, and if I find the pbp compelling, I might do a lot more. I hope so. That's why I ultimately ended up bowing out of the dnd. So my next stepping stone in my ttrpg journey is to find a pbp that posts normally that focuses on rp and story. While I appreciate the chaos and uncertainty of the dice it shouldn't be at the deterrent of player creativity, or fun, or rule of cool. But that's just me. I can learn any system or setting, I'm a smart dude. I value the people and the pc and the story over all. Also, I'm from Kansas. In the US. Normal sleep schedule. So CDT is where I'm at. That has been an issue before. I've never done paid pbp before but if the quality of the campaign, and set up, and pace is good enough I have no issue helping with a few dollars to the gm

I want to change that by being a player for a free Werewolf: the Apocalypse 5th Edition game, I have a character concept in mind but it’s not set in stone so I have no issues making adjustments to the character. I'm 29 turning 30 in April, I’ve been a Texan my whole life, and I work a steady 9-to-5 job. While I’m not crazy about combat I can strategize if I’m given a bit of context and I enjoy exploring the GM’s world to learn more about it. Heya, all! I know this is a bit of a longshot, but I have a FIERCE hankering for some World of Darkness of just about any flavor. New, Old, Chronicles of, it's a big wide World of Darkness and I'm looking to play any game in any edition/rendition of the setting. I have twenty years of off-and-on TTRPG and roleplay experience and have played two games across two different versions of Vampire (technically three, but one never left the "design characters" stage). I'm a huge fan of narrative games of deeply-woven politics and manipulation and welcome the opportunity to bring my sensibilities to your table. I love to put my characters into as much of a vise as I can and to then to watch the fireworks as they try to salvage what they can of their life. Or... maybe unlife in many Vampire contexts.
