Hello, I am an avide TTRPG enthusiest and have read the entirety of rule books for advanced DnD . I have a large knowledge of Pathfinder 1e as well as Vampire the masquerade 5e and DnD 5e. I also have read a large amount of books for other rpgs including mask a new generation, vampire the requium, mutants and masterminds 2e, the older world of darkness editions, marvel heroic rpg, and more. I am anxious with new people, but once I learn the group vibe I play my charecters with joy and enthusiasm. I am intrested in playing with a group that I can be myself in and I will lisens to any concerns others have without jugment and I hope for the same in return. I am willing to try any system if I can get my hands on a copy of the rule book.

Been part of a Candela Obscura table for about 2 years every other Tuesday. Love that so much got a tattoo of it. Tried to branch out to roll 20 discord voice for a few months, got enjoyment out of it but i started to feel pressured to 'perform'. I also hated how an entire session could be filled up with just combat. While combat is fun, if it is number crunchy and too long it just feels like a waste of time. I'm a rp and lore junky. I loved the characters and story of my campaigns, did not care or know really how to make a super powerful and dps build. Which tells me while I prefer combat to be more rp prone. I'm a 34 year old mailman and husband and father, so time is very tight. I will post at least 5 posts a day. Depending on the workload and how high maintenance the family is, and if I find the pbp compelling, I might do a lot more. I hope so. That's why I ultimately ended up bowing out of the dnd. So my next stepping stone in my ttrpg journey is to find a pbp that posts normally that focuses on rp and story. While I appreciate the chaos and uncertainty of the dice it shouldn't be at the deterrent of player creativity, or fun, or rule of cool. But that's just me. I can learn any system or setting, I'm a smart dude. I value the people and the pc and the story over all. Also, I'm from Kansas. In the US. Normal sleep schedule. So CDT is where I'm at. That has been an issue before. I've never done paid pbp before but if the quality of the campaign, and set up, and pace is good enough I have no issue helping with a few dollars to the gm

Hi! I am a very experienced player/GM that's been in the TTRPG scene for 12 years now, going through a number of systems and always learning more. I have a heavy focus on the role playing part of the game that still enjoys combat, especially trying to make silly or gimmicky combat styles work. I prefer a more serious tone of game with jokes made by the players rather than everything being a joke from the outset, but I do love having a few good laughs a session (without going too off track). I've both DM'd and played for most of the games listed in my experience and most of then for more than a year apiece, but I'm always willing to learn more and generally prefer a rullings over rules approach that lets players and GMs be a bit more out of the box with their thinking and improv-ing

Howdy. I go by Doc. Been playing DnD 5e for ages, branched out into many different ttrpgs (had a lot of fun with Mutants and Masterminds the first time round, same can be said for Cyberpunk RED), and recently got *really* into playing PF2E. I try to find a solid balance between storytelling and combat capabilities, and am very flexible as a player with any role and any strength of game.

I've been playing and GMing for a very long time and am familiar with a lot of different systems -- lots of D&D, and occasionally other things. At the moment I'm interested in playing as a player, and only the things that personally pique my interestest -- so not D&D, or anthing that's basically D&D but with the serial numbers filed off. Basically, that means either cyberpunk (the lowercase-C genre or the uppercase-C specific game), or superheroes (but not super-mercenaries or super-assassins or super-tortured-loners).

Hi y'all! My name is Doe, and I'm a fairly new player to the ttrpg world! I recently got into it after my workplace hosted a oneshot dnd campaign and it was honestly really fun, and pushed me into looking into more games like that! So far the joirney has been interesting, and I want to learn more and more about different TTRPG's I can play in and world buils with any group willing to take a newbie under their wing. I prefer to play through discord voice call since it's easier for me. And my schedule changes bi-weekly. For instance, if I'm free on Saturday this week, next week i'll be working but I'll be free on Thursday, and then it interchanges again and again till further notice. I like to write, draw, listen to music and play Zenless Zone Zero. I've spent a pretty buck on that game so if i'm not doing any of the first three listed I'm probably grinding away on ZZZ lol. I'm a long term TTRPG fan who has done their share of DMing and playing. I've explored several different systems, but my long time group has fallen apart. I'm looking to find another group of people that want to play, hang out, and have fun.

So, here we go. Long time player here, over 30 years. Mostly 3.5 but I've played A-DND and 5th edition as well (still learning 5th and would love to continue) also have played plenty of other RPG's basically everything by WhiteWolf (world of darkness), Star wars (d6 and d20), Rifts (pretty much anything by Palladium), Final Fantasy, d20 modern, Marvel, Mutants and Masterminds, BattleTech, and on and on. As far as game play I tend towards the chaotic, I'm the guy that's gonna put the magic item on to figure out what it does rather than wait for an identify spell. Favored classes are Ranger and Rogue but I can play anything. I will clash with "law and order" players. Love homebrew and games with a lot of Roleplay. Biggest pet peeve in gaming is players that can't separate player and character knowledge, just because you know a monster is weak against fire, or the last time you played this module the epic magic item was hidden behind this wall doesn't mean your character does. Drives me nuts... I'm in my 40's, a family man, love RPG's, easy to get along with and looking for a table with long term plans to play. I work school day hours and some weekends, I'm free Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Nights and every other Saturday all day.
