Hello everyone! my name is Blair, and I am a player looking for more games to play! my schedule just recently opened up, and i need to roll dice and tell some stories! a bit about me: a bulk of my TTRPG experience comes from playing 2014, but i do have experience playing other systems as well, such as Candela Obscura, Daggerheart, Pathfinder, and I've even played a homebrew version of DND. when it comes to me as a player, i do tend to play spellcasters, it just intrigues me a lot more than the martial classes, and when I do play martial classes, i always give them limited magic. I'm also a pretty respectful tablemate, i try to give my fellow players a chance to get involved. along with that, I do engage in romance, both PC and NPC, just depends on whether or not the table is down with that! oh, speaking of romance, i am Queer and trans! with the world that we exist in, I find that it is better for my table to know that upfront than learn that not only am I not cis but also, I like both boys and girls, it's just a fact of life. with that you must be a Queer and trans friendly table as well as a disabled friendly table since I am disabled as well! now to move onto a gm I would prefer: typically, how I'd parse out a potential good GM for me to play under, is I'd do a one-shot with them and see if we're a good fit, and if we can have good conversation, but considering the nature of a post like this, I am willing to forego that! that being said, you still need to have the following: be America-based and even more specifically be CST-based- since I am based in North America, I just can't do uber late games. it's not good for my mental health, and it causes me to be a terrible person for responding to DMs. RP skills - this doesn't mean that you shouldn't at least try to incorporate combat in your sessions but i need those RP skills sharpened to the max! homebrew vs. Module - I am willing to play a module but i would prefer a homebrew world. it shows that you are more than willing to be flexible with your players' stories and want to share that creativity with the world at large. recording vs basic home game - I am very okay and do consent to a recorded game, considering i have been in a few actual plays! that, however, does not mean that i will turn my nose up at a basic home game, in fact that is one of my favorites!

I can get along with anyone, but I prefer everyone at the table to be able to legally drink a beer. I like a mix of roleplay and combat, with some exploration and puzzle solving mixed in. I have been an actor on stage since I was 5, have multiple performances over my life including but not limited to Shakespeare (Midsummer Night's Dream as Oberon), Rocky Horror Show (Frank N Furter) and Little Shop of Horrors (voice of Audrey II) and even performed for a week at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Most recently, I have appeared as Security Officer Shaun Kane in the sci fi movie "Offworld: Alien Planet", which is currently available for free on Amazon and other free movie streaming sites. In addition to this, I have been in 2 rock bands, and appeared on the UK Indie circuit as a Professional Wrestler! Since before I was 10 I have been an avid player of the Fighting Fantasy choose your own adventure gamebooks before getting my introduction to Games Workshop and Warhammer very early on in the 1990s. Despite all of this, I only actually started playing D&D just as everywhere was going into Lockdown due to a mixture of my other half and Stranger Things, discovering Critical Role shortly after. I now DM for D&D in several sessions a week in a couple of ongoing campaigns, and also GM both Candela Obscura and Daggerheart. I also GM Fallout 2d20 RPG and Free League's Alien RPG.

I have been a TTRPG player and a legend-master for over 12 years. A big thing I have enjoyed over the years is getting to know the communities based around many different systems and settings in the entire community. It brings me joy to watch players work together to overcome challenges, both self inflicted and ones that I create. As a Legend Master, I tend to lean to "yes let's put a roll to it" kind of attitude. I love to see creativity and will stretch the RAW a little for "rule of cool". I do like to keep things moving but will slow down pace to help new people learn the system. I do not play against my players, but with them. I do not care for the DM vs the players. The biggest thing I like to see at my table is others enjoying the TTRPG world.

I am a dad (38) with a full time job so once I get a schedule locked in I'll be kinda stuck to it. Probably BiWeekly 7PM Central Time. Haven't played in over a decade and I want to be a player for a while before getting in to GMing. I enjoy learning how the rules and tools work together to create opportunities, surprises, disappointment and rewards but now I want more experience and less reading. I'd consider my interests right in the middle of roleplay and crunch. I think silly voices can be fun and applaud anyone going full character embodiment (respectfully) with goals for development. Rules are there for structure and challenge and should be the driving guide but I have no interest in strict RAW (or in a related vein 1:1 time inspired games).

As someone who wrote stories as a hobby, TTRPG's provided an excellent outlet for me to create worlds and stories to introduce my family and friends to. I prefer to run homebrew campaigns but I have dipped my toes into modules before. I love roleplaying and strategic gameplay. I love goofing around and I love intense and solemn moments.

I have a background in theater and acting, and I place a particular weight on character backstory and motivations. However, I'm also into game design, and like to see the big numbers as much as the next guy, probably a bit more, so I'll try to optimize as much as possible. About Me (Player & Human) I am relatively new to D&D, but very excited and genuinely committed to playing. I’ve been in two campaigns so far, making it to around level 6–7 before real life interrupted the groups. That experience just made me want to play more, not less. GTA RP was my foot in the door for roleplaying. Watching people fully commit to characters and long-form storytelling hooked me, and that naturally led me into tabletop RPGs. Since then, I’ve been obsessed with the creativity, collaboration, and shared storytelling side of games like D&D and Call of Cthulhu, even if I haven’t had as many chances to play as I’d like yet.
