Hi my name is Dan. I'm interested in Hosting (or joining) a group in Lakewood Colorado. I can play or DM. I am ideally looking for an every-other week session, Friday night would be ideal, but I have some flexibility. I'd like to create/join a group of about 5-6 players who are all "mature" adults. Gender, LGBTQ, race, political ideology, religious beliefs, and skill level don't mater to me (although if it matters to you, I'm a straight, white, male, Democrat, Atheist, who is a cat lover) . What does matter to me is finding a group that is dependable, and enjoys an immersive story driven campaign that is balanced, with adventure, character growth, problem solving, and focused role-playing, not merely hack and slash! If I am DM-ing, we will be playing 5th ed D&D. I will run a home brewed campaign set in the Forgotten Realms along the Sword Coast, set around the date 1500 DR. Characters will start at 3rd level and continue to a minimum of 13th level. I have a dedicated gaming space at my house in the Green Mountain region of Lakewood. If I am joining a pre-existing group, I will play whatever alignment, class and race the DM feels will complement the group. I'm willing to travel 10-15ish miles to join a pre-existing group.
