Hello! My name is Bennett (19), and I have been whisked away into the world of the Forgotten Realms by way of playing Baldur's Gate (1 and 3!), and now I wish to dip into the actual gameplay of it all. I've never played a TTRPG in person or online, so I'm looking for DMs and other players who are happy to teach and answer some of my questions as they come up. I'm not looking for anything too chaotic to start, maybe light homebrew material if it's nothing too out of the way or complex. I do want a good mix of roleplay/adventure/combat so I can actually break into the genre and get accompanied with the rules/gameplay as an actual player, instead of a spectator! I also need good flexibility as I have a (mostly) random work schedule, so I may not be available on the same day/time every week.
