Homebrew Homebrew
Roleplay focused Roleplay focused
I'd like to play all week, day & time is decided by a group Discord, voice I'm from EU & can play with US, by my local time, until 2:00 AM, so you need to convert to your time A lot of people that wanted to play, but later they went passive/ignore mode. Please, message only if you are going to play, don't make other players wait Discord nickname: weebseatshit *PREMISE* You are dragged into a dangerous encounter together with other unlucky ones. Now you are bonded whether you want it or not. Since you are a witness, some people want you dead, watch your back(s) & trust no one It's a Forgotten Realms based, custom (homebrew) campaign with an emphasis on story, characters & adventures, without levels & stats  I checked all classes & there are a lot of, in my opinion cheating spells. So i'd like, NOT INSIST, that every player has his own, custom spells. Though there are some nice spells in an original DnD A player should choose a class that is the closest to his preference & then create spells/abilities. If a player can't, i'll help I'd like every player to be equally powerful d20 roll results: Dungeon Master sets a number in an RNG & decides whether the success number should be smaller or bigger Spells don't need mana to be cast, they only cooldown, but if you are gonna spam spells, i'll just Elfen Lied you or put some shit like Leo Bonhart from Witcher that will equalize/balance you I'll describe locations, looks, with little to no details. So, when a player is for example in a forest, search for "DnD forest artstation" or "forest artstation" & ambient Just like with the books, i'd prefer that player imagined his own stuff (& because there may be an info that player may not get or just ignore) Only these races are allowed: Human, Elf (Moon, Wood), Dwarf, Goliath, Tiefling (Purple, Pink, Blue), Tystling (a human with cat ears (& eyes)) These classes aren't allowed: Artificer, Barbarian, Monk, Psion

Carrion Crown late game, then Iron Gods campaign

PF1e tends to be combat focused, lots of teamwork, but there's puzzles, riddles, investigation too. I don't charge money, game time is Fridays at 6pm central. I have been GMing since 1997 or so, cut my gaming teeth on AD&D first ed. I go above and beyond for my players. This campaign is Discord video chat, but we could change time/day if the other players are willing and able. Don't worry about the mechanics, they are a lot easier than most believe, I am a good teacher (or so I have been told repeatedly over decades). I do not use a VTT. Tried. So I draw it out on a wet erase board, and if there's few enemies, I don't bother and keep it in my head (I have the IQ to be able to do so, and then some, whether I like the idea or not). NO FURRIES! Thought I should mention, no other GM I ever heard of even online has thought to link a campaign to time very consistently. Me, I break it down to years and months, and give the campaign a definite ending and thus a conclusion to the storyline (Vampire the Masquerade). I am THAT relentlessly thorough! Same goes for Pathfinder. Lots of stupid puns and jokes. My campaigns tend to be accidentally lethal, and my NPC's tend to react within the bounds of their Intelligence scores. I poke players into beefing up their defenses in the low levels (in between game sessions), I value intelligence and wisdom in a player. I have no problem with potent PC's, so long as they play well with others and make sense. I tend to be very helpful in between game sessions, giving as much relevant info as possible without spoiling the plot, with less info for veteran players. Quite military friendly, as my NPCs tend to react realistically and tactically. I am extremely good at teaching, not just game mechanics but also tactics, even interaction with fellow players. During game sessions, I play all my NPC's to the hilt, so if they are actively trying to kill your PC, that's how it is. I rarely fudge dice results, when I do it's for drama's sake, trying to make the game exciting and interesting. We are gonna finish up the Carrion Crown campaign first (in the middle of the last book in the campaign, 14th level almost 15th), but with Iron Gods you can pick what you want for the most part, as only a few of the classes have been taken(unchained rogue, gunslinger, cleric, all 3 are female PCS but only one of them is run by a female player, just to show YOU the sex attribute modifiers are actually useful and the new player is thinking up a melee warrior of some kind). Could use a Iron Gods Wizard/Technomancer off the top of my head, the whole campaign seems to be built around the prestige class. Gimme a heads up the day before canceling a game, always be ready to play at least 75% of the game sessions. You get high attributes (25 point buy), and max starting gold normally, but you gotta make the characters WITH MY DIRECT ASSISTANCE as I make sure they fit with the group and campaigns, plus I give out extra benefits (like gear).  For example, since Carrion Crown has lots of undead, don't do anything that imposes mental conditions, you need really good saving throws. Iron Gods has much the same problem with robots, undead. I have a giant list of races available, some of which are androgynous, others exclusively male, others exclusively female, all of which are official save for 2 (Sylvan elves and Trollans). I instituted sexual dimorphism attribute modifiers to get players running more female characters, right now for example in Iron Gods we will have 3 female characters and likely one male, but played by players of either biological sex. Subtract 5 points from Strength for female characters, and add 2 points of Constitution, 2 points of Charisma, and 1 point of Wisdom. Please note that Elves, Drow, Gathlain, Ghoran, and Wyrwood are not subject to this ruling, so there is no difference mechanically between male or female characters for them. Interestingly, female characters are mathematically better for Oracles, Clerics (so long as you stay away from melee combat), Sorcerers, Psychics, Mesmerists, Gunslingers, Mediums, basically anyone that doesn’t need a high Strength score, and could use the increased Constitution, Charisma, and a little bit of Wisdom. Yes, there are cheap ways to dramatically increase your carrying limits, I can show you. Skill based classes like the Rogue and Bard tend to be a mixed result, since a low Strength impacts carrying limits, Climb, Swim, and sometimes Intimidate. Male characters make better warrior types, so Fighters (melee and bows but not crossbows), Paladins, Samurai, Barbarians, Monks, Cavaliers, Inquisitors, Rangers tend to be male. Basically it pokes men into running characters that think in a more indirect, feminine way, and women into thinking in a more masculine, direct way by poking them into classes that have the right mindset/tactics. Banned Classes/Races Summoner (and Unchained version), Arcanist, Bloodrager, Brawler, Hunter, Investigator, Shaman, Skald, Slayer, Swashbuckler, Warpriest (this is all of the Advanced Class Guide), Vigilante, Shifter, all mythic paths are banned permanently (broken ruleset). Half-elves, Half-orcs are banned permanently; they are too mechanically similar to humans and don’t make sense genetically. Note that I never allow 3rd party (non Paizo) material (unless I honestly think they are balanced and appropriate but you gotta ask first), and I do not allow material that I don’t have access to personally. I am willing to get new material, however. I am the same way about the Gunslinger (need advanced tech available), Ninja(very culture centric), Samurai(very culture centric), Antipaladin (evil aligned only), Assassin (evil aligned only) classes. For example, we are eventually gonna play Iron Gods, and you get access to alien guns so the Gunslinger is welcome, one player made a brine changeling (all of them are female) example already. I won't run Rise of the Runelords since I just got done with that, ran the whole shebang.  These are the Pathfinder campaigns I have: Rise of the Runelords, Jade Regent, Shattered Star, Return of the Runelords, Reign of Winter, Mummy's Mask, Iron Gods, Curse of the Crimson Throne, Skull & Shackles, Hell's Rebels, Ruins of Azlant, Carrion Crown, Tyrant's Grasp, Strange Aeons. The difficult campaigns I have access to are Council of Thieves (3.5 have to adjust it), Giantslayer (kinda boring starting book 4 for the GM), Goblin adventure series (very short), Hell's Vengeance (evil aligned PCs), Kingmaker (3.5 have to adjust it), Second Darkness (3.5 have to adjust it). Only a few APs exist that I won't run period.  That’s not even counting the dungeon crawl classics adventure modules. Reign of Winter will let you see 18th level since I tacked on a module at the end, Carrion Crown only 15th, all other PF campaigns 17th. We have a Ranger (archer), but the player is down for the count for medical reasons. There's already a Cleric, Bard, Paladin, as well. There's a newbie running the paladin, and we need someone to run the Wizard. The Ranger used to be killing off smaller opponents, but we could use someone else of any class you want in my list. I dunno, a Sorcerer in addition maybe? No gestalt classes, nothing outside the list below. Each new campaign, take a different class and role. These are the Pathfinder classes I use: Warriors: Unchained Barbarian, Unchained Monk (very culture centric, but there are rare outside examples), Paladin, Fighter, Ranger (and possibly Gunslinger, Samurai if running Jade Regent), Cavalier Skill Monkeys: Bard, Ranger, Unchained Rogue, possibly Ninja if running Jade Regent Divine casters: Druid, Cleric, Oracle, Inquisitor Arcane casters: Sorcerer, Wizard, Witch, Alchemist, Magus Psychics: Kineticist, Medium, Mesmerist, Occultist, Psychic, Spiritualist No politics of any kind: right, left, sexuality, real world religions, excessive feminism/whatever etc not allowed, if you have a need to make a fuss about that, you will be kicked out (all sorts tend to be in my groups). It's perfectly fine to have those views, but don't bring them to the game (this is meant to be fun, social, intellectually challenging). If you have major psych problems that get in the way of simple social interaction (explosive outbursts etc) don't contact me. I eventually ask for telephone number just in case of you not showing up to game and you didn't tell me otherwise. It's for emergency stuff, like if someone gets sick or something and I gotta cancel the game. I do care about my players! And yes, I am meticulous about not calling for funsies.

Humanity now exists within walled in cities that are surrounded by lights, the only deterrent against the creatures that attack the walls at night. Despite the horrors at their doorstep, everyone tries to continue their lives as if nothing ever happened. Mundanity is pervasive, if held sacred by most of society. One day, in the middle of a calamity, a group of young adults discover that they have been gifted with otherworldly powers. The world now waits and watches to see what they will do with their gifts. ABOUT: In the town of Rowbury, Pennsylvania, two people were found horrifically murdered ten days apart from each other. Your superiors at CAIN believe this is sign that a sin has infiltrated the town, and have tasked you and your team to find it and neutralize it in whatever method necessary. They are holding off police as much as they can, but you only have hours before they push back. Or, until the situation escalates beyond your control. You are weapons, weapons that must do your task of wiping the stain clean. This game and system are heavily inspired by Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man, so if you are fans of either or both of these things, you may enjoy this game! I'm new to VtM V5, and I want to play my first game. It'll be my first time as a storyteller, so I may not know everything, but I'll study enough to keep the sessions going. Ideally, the sessions will be weekly every Monday or Wednesday at 5pm EST. I'm open to playing a modern setting with a split between combat and role play sessions. Prince Vermeulen has wiped the court floor clean to make room for a fresh generation of neonates. You arrive in the City with a target on your back, drafted into a game you don’t yet understand. Here, your word carries weight, and your loyalty to the Camarilla is your only shield — for now. Beyond the polished marble of the European Quarter, older factions and darker mysteries are waiting. Every alliance has a price. Every secret is a weapon. Your actions will test your Humanity and shape the City. Your failures will shape your execution. How long will you navigate the corridors of power? Will you rise in the City of Wastrels or vanish from records and memories? Brussels is watching, and Brussels remembers. - Membership starts at 2.5 EUR/month via ko-fi: https://ko-fi.com/hiddenson/tiers - Character creation and Session 0 are free. - LGBTQ+ and kink friendly. @TCB Games & Collectibles. 656 Eastern Blvd Clarksville, IN Party of 4-6 1st level characters; point buy for stats June 13th 1pm. DnD 5e 18+ DM: @wonkav8 (Brian) $5 entry fee The group is venturing home to Vallaki after escorting musicians back to Skald in Kartakass after their performance at the season festival. A local there advised the party take a shortcut through the ancient Red Tear forest to avoid going around the Lake of Red Tears, some nonsense about spooks and nasties and people going missing in the ruins east of the lake. Upon heeding this well intentioned warning, they now find themselves lost in unfamiliar woods and darkness is setting in. Since choosing the less sinister of two trails, the party has felt uneasy as if something has been following them. The farther along the chosen trail they go, the narrower and less travelled the trail looks. Finally, a clearing opens where a dimly lit moss covered cabin sits at the far side of the clearing. A frail looking elderly woman sits on a rocking chair next to a hulking male sitting on a huge stump. The woman stops rocking and waves. In the distance, a howl unlike anything you have ever heard echoes through the forest. The last glimpse of daylight is barely providing any light through the forest canopy. The wave becomes a frantic gesture towards the cabin. Sign up in store at TCB or on our Dscord https://discord.gg/BkZG8g9aC6

Looking for a Curse of Strahd game with a DM who leans heavily into atmosphere, roleplay, and immersion? I’m currently recruiting for multiple weekly Curse of Strahd campaigns and would love to bring some new adventurers into Barovia. I’ve been running D&D 5e online since 2017 and have several years of experience running games through Roll20 specifically. I have Roll20 Pro and make full use of the tools available to create a smoother and more immersive experience for players, including dynamic lighting, API mods, animated maps/effects where appropriate, and organized handouts/journals. I also put a lot of emphasis on presentation and mood. Expect ambient music, combat tracks, creepy soundscapes, and distinct NPC voices to help Barovia feel alive. Curse of Strahd works best when the atmosphere really lands, and I do my best to make every session feel tense, memorable, and cinematic. I'll share my compendium with players, so you’ll have access to official Player’s Handbook classes, subclasses, spells, and features directly through Roll20 for easier character creation and leveling. Whether you’re a veteran player looking for a strong gothic horror campaign or someone newer wanting to experience one of 5e’s most iconic adventures, you’re welcome at the table. Platform: Roll20 Voice: Discord System: D&D 5e Price: $15/session (Session Zero is free) Weekly Game Schedule (EST): Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday — 4:00 PM EST

"Under the thunder-split sky, Castle Ravenloft rises in silhouette, its spires like dark teeth against the storm. Lightning skims the ramparts and the wind carries an uneasy laugh. Somewhere in the fogged valley, a figure watches with a smile that knows too much. This is Barovia. This is Curse of Strahd. And you are invited to dinner." 🎲 Level Range: 1–12 🖥️ Platforms: Foundry VTT, Discord (Voice), and Start Playing Games (Scheduling & Payments) ⏰ Session Length: 3.5–4.5 hours, every Wednesday at 10:00 AM PST (6:00 PM GMT) 💰 Price: $20 per session 🆓 Session Zero: Completely free! The campaign is fully supported through Foundry VTT, featuring automation, dynamic maps, immersive audio, visual effects, and streamlined character management to keep the focus on roleplay, exploration, and adventure. Welcome to a campaign that leans into gothic dread while keeping the table lively and welcoming. If you are new to this adventure, think of Barovia as a haunted sandbox. The land is wrapped in mists, full of secrets, and fragile in its safety. The antagonist studies your every move. The story favours character choices, tense investigation, and emotional stakes over mindless combat. Expect meaningful fights, clever puzzles, and moments of triumph that strike like thunder. 🧛 Vampires and shadows: a looming villain whose influence touches everything. 🌫️ The Mists: travel can be dangerous, and places may shift. The fog rarely lets plans remain unchanged. 🎭 Deep roleplay: your character can be a hero or someone haunted by the past. Both paths shape the story. 🧭 Investigation and mystery: clues matter. NPCs hold secrets. Moral choices influence the world around you. ⚔️ Tactical moments: fights have weight and consequence. Combat appears when it matters. 😂 Laughter amid the gloom: even dark tales have light. We will laugh, sigh, and gasp together. 🗺️ Cinematic touches: animated maps, short cutscenes, with the campaign automated through Foundry for a smoother and more immersive experience. 🫂 Cooperative table: the story grows through collaboration. Teamwork and player agency guide the adventure. I prioritise roleplay and player agency. Rules can flex when a powerful scene calls for it. New players are very welcome. I will guide you through mechanics, tone, and safety tools so everyone can enjoy the story. 📜 Campaign Listing: If you'd like to read the full campaign details, character creation guidelines, house rules, and reserve your seat, you can find everything here: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmp3ntga00011jy04xo18m010?ref=cmjkeghcz002oif042ddtkai4 Any questions or interested in joining? "Under the thunder-split sky, Castle Ravenloft rises in silhouette, its spires like dark teeth against the storm. Lightning skims the ramparts and the wind carries an uneasy laugh. Somewhere in the fogged valley, a figure watches with a smile that knows too much. This is Barovia. This is Curse of Strahd. And you are invited to dinner." 🎲 Level Range: 1–12 🖥️ Platforms: Foundry VTT, Discord (Voice), and Start Playing Games (Scheduling & Payments) ⏰ Session Length: 3.5–4.5 hours, every Thursday at 10:00 AM PST (6:00 PM GMT) 💰 Price: $20 per session 🆓 Session Zero: Completely free! 📜 Campaign Listing: If you'd like to read the full campaign details, character creation guidelines, house rules, and reserve your seat, you can find everything here: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmp3nufp0009pkw04znb9shtd?ref=cmjkeghcz002oif042ddtkai4 Any questions or interested in joining? Talk to me on Discord ojaum, and we will see what dinner at Ravenloft has in store.

Looking for DM – Curse of Strahd Campaign (2 Players) Hi there! My friend Jens and I are looking for a Dungeon Master to run a Curse of Strahd campaign for us. We’re hoping to find a DM who enjoys running a serious, immersive, roleplay-heavy game with strong gothic horror atmosphere and meaningful consequences. We’re both very excited about the setting and are looking for a long-term campaign where story, character development, and party dynamics are central. 👤 About Us Ben (me) 25 years old, based in Europe ~7 years experience with D&D 5e Current DM for a monthly in-person campaign (1+ year ongoing) Previously prepared a Curse of Strahd campaign and fell in love with the setting Experienced with roleplay-heavy, long-form storytelling games Comfortable with serious tone and collaborative storytelling Jens 25 years old A few months of D&D experience Very enthusiastic and eager to learn Especially drawn to dark, gothic fantasy settings Looking to grow his roleplay and system understanding through play 🎭 What We’re Looking For We are looking for a Curse of Strahd campaign that is challenging, We enjoy tension, risk, and meaningful consequences. We would love a DM who enjoys: Roleplay-heavy storytelling A dark, gothic, consequence-driven world Long-term campaign commitment Party-driven narrative development Creative freedom and player-driven choices ⚔️ Desired Gameplay Style / Systems Lethality system: Death is permanent when a character dies, if all characters die the campaign ends. we had the idee to use tashas couldron companion rules a a sort of “extra life” system: Each player begins with 2 companions that can be developed into full player characters when the players main character dies. These act as backup lives. However, they can also die independently, removing those extra survivability layers before the main character dies. Expanded Lingering Injuries system: for this we would like to use the Farlandworld Lingering Injuries by Damage Type. Expanded Indefinite Madness system: for this I have a D100 list. As you can tell we are fully on board for a brutal, gritty, and consequence-heavy experience, and we are actively looking for a DM who enjoys running that kind of game. We’re not looking to “win” Curse of Strahd we’re looking to survive it, suffer through it, and tell a memorable story doing so. No character should be the same after Barovia is done with them... 🧰 Practical Info Availability is during night hours 19:00/20:00 until 23:00/00:00. Discord for voice I know Roll20 but other platforms are fine Stable internet and working microphones System is DND 5e (2014) 🌫️ Final Note if you are a DM who enjoys a challenge wants to dish out curses and run a truly horific Curse of Strahd experience. Then this is the game for you! we’d love to hear from you, please send us your discord and something about yourself so we can conntact you and plan a call. Ben & Jens

Meowdy. I am looking for 1-2 additional players to join an established group as we start a new game. About our group The group currently consists of myself and two other people. I've been playing with them for about a year, but they're part of a small ttrpg discord server that's been together a few years longer. We play different games run by different members of the group from time to time. We play over discord voice chat, and will probably be using roll20 as a vtt. Sessions are weekly on fridays at 7pm EST. Two of us are transfeminine and none of us are straight. We would prefer to play with other gay and trans people. We are also 30+ and would prefer to play with other adults. About the game We are going to be starting a campaign of CAIN, an action-horror game about superpowered paranormal investigators hunting down monsters born from human trauma running off a Forged in the Dark-adjacent dice pool system. If you're not familiar, please take a look at the link to see if it interests you and I can provide a copy of the full book. CAIN is a game that inherently deals with dark and difficult subjects. Safety tools will be in place and there will be room for sillyness, but this game won't be a lighthearted experience. About me as a GM I've been running tabletop games for a very long time and I'm pretty opinionated about them. I tend to run games pretty much by the book, particularly when trying out new systems. I don't really ignore rules on purpose to facilitate cool moments or things like that. I expect everyone at the table to learn the rules of the system and to engage with them to the best of their ability. I like to do voices and will engage in improv acting scenes sometimes, but I don't consider it a necessary part of playing games. I like to maintain a clear separation between player and character. I'll often describe things in third person and summarize what generally happens in an interaction rather than speaking out every individual bit of dialogue. I'm kind of sadistic and like to do mean things to characters for fun. About you If you're interested, please fill out this google form to tell me a bit about yourself and I will be in touch.

"Beneath the sands of a dead empire, something ancient is waking up." The Caluthean Empire ruled this region for thousands of years before it collapsed. What remains are ruins half-swallowed by sand including a massive collapsed monument called the Fallen Statue of the Great Unifier. This is a sandbox campaign centered around a megadungeon! There is a lot to explore amidst the ancient ruins: magical treasures to find, rewards for completing quests, and horrors that lurk in the shadows that must be defeated. The system is Old School Essentials Advanced Fantasy with some elements of AD&D 1st edition. What to Expect: No experience necessary. This is dark fantasy adventure gaming, somewhere between Dying Earth (Jack Vance), The Black Company (Glen Cook) and other Sword and Sorcery, to high fantasy realms like old gray box Forgotten Realms. This game will feature high adventure, exploration, and risks. The game is fast and deadly. The goal is to turn this into a West Marches style game. There is a lot of the world to explore, promising rewards, but the greatest of these lie beneath the ruins of the Fallen Statue... Details: System: OSE Advanced Fantasy Setting: Sajetan, an original world, currently desert-heavy, ancient-empire aesthetic (currently). Schedule: My availability for SESSION 0 is on a Sunday at 11AM CT / 12PM ET / 9AM PT / 5PM GMT / 6PM CET. Once we receive enough players, I will send out the date for that and we can then discuss which days to play weekly. Format: Online via VTT (Discord and Owlbear Rodeo) Experience: No experience required. Familiarity with OSE can help but is not required. Getting Started: Send me a message or contact me on Discord: Maervahr

Sci-Fi/Horror Paranormal Investigation In '90s Seattle Hi there! I am putting together a game about investigating paranormal threats to humanity on behalf of a mysterious organization, in the vein of The X-Files, BPRD, the SCP Foundation, and the Southern Reach trilogy. I have three decades of ttrpg experience mostly running Call of Cthulhu, WoD, D&D (2e & 5e), and Feng Shui.  I will be running this in Delta Green, the modern day spin-off of Call of Cthulhu, but will not be using the Cthulhu mythos lore that is the usual backdrop of Delta Green. The tone will still be dark, but a little lighter than Delta Green's default "apocalyptically dark."  You do not need to have experience with Delta Green or Call of Cthulhu, but please be mature enough to deal with descriptions of violence, crime, mental illness, and other staples of supernatural horror.  Live sessions will be held on occasional weekends via Owlbear Rodeo. Much of the game will be ran directly on Discord. This will be writing-intensive, if you can't enjoy typing a paragraph and just want to roll dice & move mice this might not be the game for you. The game setting will be Seattle in the 1990s; investigating spooky goings-on amongst the misty forests, thriving music scene, and internet start-ups.  If this interests you, let's talk! This is my first time using this platform so be patient with me.

The nights seem to never end as occupants of these accursed landscapes suffer in darkness. The people of Tepest pray to the Mother for a merciful Tithe. The survivors of Falknovia brave an unending hoard of undead and eachother. The scientists of Lamordia create their own monsters as they twist and pervert the natural world. The dread domains offer no respite to the those of feeble will. Can you survive? Seeking 5 players for a horror centric campaign spanning the Dread Domains. Players will traverse through several hostile lands, each posing a different and horrific threat. I hope to find players who seek to build characters with emotional depth and add to a collaborative narrative in a meaningful way. Players who will fully immerse themselves in the horror setting, allowing their characters to feel desperate, terrified, and lost but still, for one reason or another, hardy enough to fight on. As a nonbinary Latina, I prioritise making my games a safe space for the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC community . Full transparency, I see a safe space for these communities as a space filled with staunch advocates and allies. This goes double as this game will ask players for a level of vulnerability that others must respect. If advocating for these groups isn’t a meaningful part of your identity then you need not apply. Additional note, no part of my game will include generative AI. I think to use AI in any capacity for TTRPGs is disrespectful to the writers, designers, and artists who put lifetimes worth of effort, skill, and craftsmanship into creating this community. Not to mention to socio-ecological harm of AI either. I will also not allow AI to be used for character tokens or any other reasons. Everything in my game will be made with human craftsmanship for better or worse This game will start players at level 3 and we’ll play until level 5. We’ll play weekly, three days on and one day off. I try to level up players at least every 10 sessions. As of now I see this game running for a max of  8 months, in which time we’ll either continue with the same characters or try something else. Please submit your application here. Thanks in advance for any who take the time to apply!

Seeking adventure?! Looking for a soulslike eldritch horror campaign?! Then Drakkenheim is the place for you! Hi there I’m Dorga! I have been a DM/GM for 7 years now, and been a paid one for almost 3 years now. I am a disabled veteran who is a big nerd and loves to run 5E games! Campaign- Dungeons of Drakkenheim- (Level 1-13th, possibly up to 18th) Fifteen years ago, Drakkenheim was destroyed by an eldritch storm of falling stars. Now, the city is a dismal urban wasteland contaminated by otherworldly magic and haunted by hideous monsters. Fantastic wealth, lost knowledge, and powerful artefacts lie ready for the taking by adventurers brave or foolish enough to venture into the ruins! If players would like I can either run the campaign as is as it’s 1-13th prewritten adventure, or I can do a bit of homebrew with my own ideas to extend it up to 18th level which is easily doable with the new Monsters of Drakkenheim. Game System- D&D 5E (2014 & 2024) Payment- $15.00 per session! Sorry ya’ll gotta eat! Bring a friend and pay half price for the first month! For both of you! Schedule- Tuesday nights at 6 PM US EST! 4 Hour games with a break in the middle, and games are once per week! How we play- FoundyVTT for maps and tokens, Discord for voice calls! Play style- A healthy mix of roleplay, combat, and exploration! Homebrew/3rd party content can be discussed and possibly allowed! Also I tend to follow the rules, but there is ABSOLUTELY room for RULE OF COOL! DM if interested, and let’s have an AWESOME time together!

The Night Is Not One City (*The Coast After Dark* and *The Dark of Port Azalea*) **Chronicle Description:** Along the northern Gulf Coast, the night moves through ports, casinos, churches, parade routes, funeral homes, refineries, and black water. From Mobile, Alabama to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, survival is not merely a matter of feeding, it is a matter of access, reputation, and who controls the artery before hunger reaches you. The Dark of Port Azalea explores Mobile, Alabama: a city of masks, haunted history, imported blood, and fragile performance. The Camarilla maintains authority through lineage, salons, and ritualized order while the Anarchs answer with spectacle, nightlife, and defiance. Beneath both lies the same dependency: Mobile cannot sustain its dead alone. The Coast After Dark expands outward into the Mississippi Gulf Coast, a corridor of rival domains including Biloxi, Gulfport, Ocean Springs, Pascagoula, Gautier, Pass Christian, and D’Iberville. These cities are bound together beneath the fragile authority of the Council of Twilight, where power is curated through prestation, surveillance, fear, and carefully maintained appearances. Together, both chronicles form a connected Gulf Coast World of Darkness where: •    Blood is economy •    Status is performance •    Hunger is politics •    Reputation travels •    Borders matter •    Every ally is leverage •    Every enemy keeps receipts Whether you are a neonate navigating feeding rights, or a Kindred simply trying to survive the pressure of the system itself, this is a story-driven exploration of ambition, horror, politics, and consequence within the World of Darkness. **Rules:** We use Vampire: the Masquerade (V5) with thematic house rules tailored toward immersive storytelling, political tension, and consequence-driven play. The game balances literate, text-based roleplay with dice mechanics where needed. **Logistics** **Medium:** Play-by-post via Discord. **Time:** Open and asynchronous players engage in scenes at their convenience while contributing to a living, evolving chronicle world. **Players:** Open to all! Whether you are new to V5 and looking for guidance or an experienced player seeking layered political and character-driven horror, there is a place for you along the Gulf. **Applications:** [Step into Mobile.](<https://discord.gg/a8xKbeDS>) [Step onto the Coast.](<https://discord.gg/w29ZXyb8PP>) Staff positions available The night is not one city. It is a coastline. Come prepared to hunt carefully, speak intentionally, balance your debts, and survive the pressure of a world already in motion.

Interest check for an Iron Lung oneshot!

Homebrew Homebrew
Roleplay focused Roleplay focused
As the title suggests, I'm interested to see if there's any, well, interest in an Irong Lung inspired game. I saw the movie a few months back and fell headfirst into hyperfixation and started mapping out a oneshot for 2-3 players that would create their own convicts that would be welded within a doomed ship. Unfortunately, life got busy and I stopped working on the idea. HOWEVER! After watching Project Hail Mary and getting a dose of that good ol' patron saint of one way trips, I kind of had the urge to work on it again, but acknowledge that I still have a LOT to build/write out. So before I invest all that time and energy, I wanted to see if any folks would actually be interested.  For those not familiar with the game/movie, below is a little exposition/lore dump for you: *In this universe, humans have already explored a lot of space, colonizing many planets, with the first being Mars, holding a base called Eden. However, in 2349 A.D., an unexplainable cosmic event occurred. Known as The Quiet Rapture, where all planets and celestial bodies just quietly disappeared, with all life forms on it. The only things to survive were the people who inhabited man-made space stations, with a collective of less than 1,000 humans and two opposing groups remaining.* *One group of space stations is known as the Consolation of Iron, the C.O.I, while the other is a space ship inhabited by Eden's population. An important note here; Eden is in possession of the very last tree in the universe.* *However, due to a lack of resources from the planets disappearing, Eden and C.O.I fell into conflict as each group struggles to prosper in a rapidly dwindling world. This conflict culminates with Eden targeting one of C.O.I's larger bases called Filament Station, which resulted in a nine day all-out war, only ending when Eden sabotaged Filament's reactor, creating a critical breach, leaving Filament uninhabitable.* *You were a member of Eden, caught as a prisoner of war, and you are now in the hands of the C.O.I.* *You, as convicts, have been welded shut into a poor excuse of a submarine, forced to explore the ocean of a moon referred to as AT-5, taking pictures of Points of Interest (P.O.I's) for scientific research. However, this moon's oceans are made of blood.* *After the Quiet Rapture, four moons with blood oceans suddenly appeared, and you are plunged into the depths of AT-5.* *And if you take the pictures in spots C.O.I wants, they will grant you your freedom. That is the deal. If you get the job done, you'll be free.*

DEEP IN THE SOUTHERN HEART OF ETHARIS, THE COMPANY OF FREE SWORDS FOLLOWS ONE SIMPLE CREED: "IF WE MUST DEPRIVE THIS WORLD OF FATHER, BROTHERS, AND SONS, AND BE KILLED AS WE DO SO, LET IT BE FOR THE HIGHEST COIN, THAT WE MAY DIE CONTENT." === At the edges of Charnault lies the city of Voros. High-walls and garrisons enclose enclaves of knights and the Headquarters of the Company of Free Swords; a mercenary organization with its own bite and influence amongst the dangers and turmoil of Etharis. Contractors for coin, the Company sets out into the wilds battling foes of any kind, be them man or beast alike. You have found yourself just outside of Voros, at a Company encampment answering a missive for 'warm bodies to seek criminals fleeing the Castinellan Province of Corova.' Simple enough. Whatever your reasons, you have found yourself here, and have signed on to contract with Deleth Brunn; a Company man, promising 30 gold for every man who lives long enough to seek the Castinellan fugitives, and return alive. Nearly a month's wage in one swift job. Only a fool would say no. === Hey, everyone! I'm Em, seeking 4-5 players for a Lairs of Etharis setting campaign. You - Criminals. The City? On Fire. Your Escape: A train. Can you make it till the end in this horror homebrewed Mork Borg adventure? In this world of devastation, tucked away in the taint of Bergen Chrypt, resides the hilltop enclave of Kragzuul. Beneath its stony peaks and spires, are the lowland slums. There, joining an organized crime family offers the denizens, what is often, their best shot at surviving another day.  Join a criminal family and try to escape the demonic entities ferrying characters to the realm of the Creature King... I have been invited to run "Train of The Damned" at Anime Central this weekend in Rosemont (Chicagoland), Illinois. If you will be attending the convention, consider reserving your spot at the table! This session will be held in the gaming area and you'll need a convention badge! The adventure is part of a larger Zine that I am producing as a supplement for MB titled, "Verdammt." It will run similarly to a more classically stylized OSR with deadly twists and combat lurking around each corner. Players can create their own characters or utilize an assortment of premade characters as they attempt to survive the "Great Cleanse" in the slums beneath the isolated kingdom of Kragzuul. I've been GMing for three years now, with a recent focus on running Shadowdark and Mörk Borg adventures. And now, I am very much looking forward to sharing this adventure in a convention setting. NOTE: Mörk Borg lends itself to dark, atmospheric, and gothic scenes that are not for everyone, and this one-shot in particular, features significant narrative death that usually leads to graphic language while roleplaying. The table will agree to "Lines & Veils" but please keep this in mind.

Looking for players for a WOD + D&D campaign Chronicle name: Forgotten Realms By Night - Dungeon of the Mad Mage Base system: WOD 20th Anniversary Edition Any homebrew?: Yes, plenty Language: English Time: Sunday 4 PM GMT-3 (Brazil) Where: Discord VC private server Requirements: +18, respectful, inclusive How to get in: DM me on Discord (DamianBRGM) Concept: I've been writing a homebrew for months to bridge World of Darkness with DND. It's 90% finished and I wish to put it into practice before my Exandria homebrew campaign. That is to say this is a "test campaign" which is why I'm using the Dungeon of the Mad Mage module, but I'll be taking this as seriously as any campaign. The setting is Forgotten Realms but there will be some alterations, specially as it relates to the "Otherworlds" of the setting and some of the implications that entails. Please do not apply if you've either already played the Dungeon of the Mad Mage module, or if you don't have any experience with World of Darkness and Dungeons and Dragons, since this is a "crunchy" and simulationist campaign. Please parse through this homebrew doc before DMing me, so you're sure you want in https://docs.google.com/document/d/1j6Wr69GcWMMm94-sq02LHn1M1nkTWqZ83Lk8Fzsh1AI/edit?tab=t.0

This is a NSFW Call of Cthulhu campaign that I'm aiming for 3-4 players playing. This will be done in Discord at 8-9:30 EST. I will be running this weekly when I'm able. This is NSFW so there will be dark themes, graphic descriptions, and overall kinky shit. Baseline CoC knowledge is preferred but not needed. I am not lgbt but this is lgbt friendly. When you send in your application, also send a list with your kinks and limits. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A COC CHARACTER SHEET YOU WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Use point buy system. Setting: The town of Raptio Peak, Oregon. The town resides in the dead center of a badlands, on hoodoo that is so wide it's become a plateau. The ground surrounding the hoodoo is incredible fertile, with a small underground river running underneath it with caves providing the towns main source of food, mushrooms. The people who live there have become coarse and hardy from subsisting off of mushrooms and the grains from the river. Campaign: Strange happenings have been going on in Raptio Peak. One day ago, the railroad shut down. One hour ago, a strange, bare chested woman was seen blowing a horn before riding off into the night. One second ago, the town church burst into flames in the middle of service. No one knows if this is a regular old demonic possession or if there's something more sinister at hand, but one thing is for sure... No one is safe tonight. Character Options Prudence: A pious 18yo single girl. She has straight strands of straw colored hair, a pale complexion, and eyes the color of the sun at dawn. Having been raised in Raptio all her life, she's dying to get out and see the world she's read about in her books and scriptures. Joseph: A hardworking 24yo single man. He has brown auburn tufts of hair, a strong, tanned body, and eyes like the midday sky. He was born and raised in Raptio Peak and dreams to someday see his grandchildren running along the plains of green grass he planted and tended. Nike: A determined 53yo divorced woman. She has loose strands of salt and pepper hair, a toned, fit figure for her age, and eyes cold and black as the ocean. She has explored the better half of the Midwest and has decided to settle down here. She says it's because she can see the sunrise from where she lives. Winchester: An easygoing 40yo businessman. With a gleaming bald scalp, a rotund body, and a tiny, beady eyes, he's looks like a very stereotypical wealthy man. He's on a business trip and decided to stop in this town for the night, the night before the train broke down. There may or may not be secret info about the characters and their motivations depending on who you choose Specific kinks that might appear in universe: Futanari, Gender Swap both ways, Musk, Pheromones, Non-con, Eldritch horrors, tentacles, mind control, pegging, chastity, whatever looking down on a woman because she's old is called, orgasm control and denial.  Specific kinks that will not be there: Snuff, Scat, Watersports, Bestiality, Gore, fucking dead bodies and everything under those umbrellas.  If something's hot, I'm probably gonna do it, but those are the guidelines on kinky stuff. If something is making you uncomfortable, react with an X emoji. Other then that, hope to see you soon.

Fifteen years ago, Drakkenheim was destroyed by an eldritch storm of falling stars. Now, the city is a dismal urban wasteland contaminated by otherworldly magic and haunted by hideous monsters.  Fantastic wealth, lost knowledge, and powerful artefacts lie ready for the taking by adventurers brave or foolish enough to venture into the ruins! My GM style is RAW, with a focus on tactical combat, intense exploration, and realistic social encounters. Don't expect to survive if you venture into Drakkenheim unprepared.

Curse of Stradh  Group of 5 Players Seeking DM – Horror Campaign. Hello! We are an established group of five players looking for a DM to run a horror-themed campaign. Our previous game, Curse of Strahd Reloaded, ended early after our DM stepped away due to personal circumstances, and we decided to continue together. We found another DM to pick up, but he realised life was too busy at the moment for him to start another game. Our experience ranges from intermediate to advanced, some being DMs,  with several years playing D&D 5e 2014 and 2024 rules. Everyone in the group is comfortable with mechanics, participates actively in roleplay, communicates clearly, and maintains a cooperative table environment. Group Details • 5 players • Availability: Sundays at 7 PM EST (weekly) • Platform: Discord voice + Roll20 / Foundry or similar VTT • Playstyle: Roleplay-forward with strong atmosphere • Campaign preference: Horror / gothic tone • Curse of Strahd Reloaded We are looking for a GM interested in running a narrative-focused horror experience for the group. Cheers

Horror Horror
PLEASE NOTE: This is a playtest game, I will be testing out a few different and new systems to myself in hopes of adapting them into my games in the future. This is also a playtest for the Daggerheart Drakkenheim ruleset as well so player feedback is welcomed and encouraged throughout. Wednesday 9pm GMT The 11th day of the 11th month, 1111. To some, it was a day of prophecy; to most, it was just another Tuesday in the jewel of Westemär. Then the sky split open. A star of pulsing violet fire screamed through the heavens and struck the heart of Drakkenheim, vaporizing the Royal Ward in a heartbeat. You aren't heroes, not yet. You are survivors, caught in the shadow of a dying city. As a strange, prismatic fog begins to roll through the streets and the very stones start to weep purple ichor, your only objective is simple: Get out before the Haze claims you. The air is thick with the scent of ozone and rotting flowers. Around you, the impossible is happening. People you knew are warping before your eyes, limbs lengthening, voices dissolving into wet gurgles, and sanity fraying under the glow of the "Octarine" light. This is a world of Eldritch Horror and High Stakes Survival, where every street corner offers a choice between a desperate rescue and a necessary betrayal. In this high-octane Daggerheart adventure set as a Prequel to Dungeons of Drakkenheim, you will navigate a cityscape undergoing a violent, magical metamorphosis, the day the eldritch meteor struck the city. You must balance your dwindling Hope against the encroaching Fear as you witness the birth of a nightmare that will haunt the continent for decades to come. Will you lead survivors to safety, abandoned those that are already lost, or will you become just another shadow etched into the ruins of the lost capital? The sky has fallen, the King is gone, and the Haze is hungry. Run.

The Idle Rift - Can You Stop 500 Years of Corrupti

Homebrew Homebrew
Roleplay focused Roleplay focused
Hello everyone! My name is Beau, I'm 27, FtM, and use he/they pronouns. I'm looking to run a homebrew DND5E campaign in person for 5-6 players. I am more than okay with new players and happy to teach what I know, since I’ve been playing for almost ten years now! I've been a DM before and used the same campaign setting; I loved it but never got to finish due to scheduling issues.  What I’m looking for: 5-6 players, LGBTQ friendly is a MUST (you don’t need to be in the community, just an ally), 21 years or older, any skill level, any gender. Homebrew races and classes are allowed so long as they’re run by me first. We will be starting at level 5, multiclassing is allowed! Location/Time: Phoenix, AZ. Will be held at Gamer’s Guild in the Phoenix location every other Saturday, time TBD but in the afternoon/evening. No-Gos: Under 18 years old are absolutely not permitted. Between 18 and 21 may be considered based on needs and comfort of the group, but it makes me personally uncomfortable because of the age gap.  -Any harassment of or fighting out of character with other players will be grounds for removal.  -Consent is key - Flirting in character is fine, so long as everyone is comfortable with it. No means no. Adult, questionable, and/or steamy scenes will fade to black at the table, but outside roleplay is welcome between players. -Due to a deeply ingrained piece of lore and several plot lines, players are restricted from playing any Underdark races. The Setting: high fantasy, high magic world with multiple developed countries/nations including their own lore, laws, and demographics. Much of this campaign will take place in a region that’s been heavily magically altered and even corrupted. Though most regions are a melting pot of all races, many originate from one location or another, so the race you play may determine where your character was born or where they have family. Legends say that there used to be dragons just roaming about, living peacefully amongst mortal races, seen flying overhead on the daily. But for around 500 years, true dragon sightings have been a rarity, and only the golden dragon has been spotted in that time. The Plot: For as long as even the eldest elves can remember, Ipica has been split into three regions, each stuck in a separate time and space. And for just as long, scholars have tracked the slow creep of corruption twisting the eastern shores of the land. There’s historical writings of something called the World Tree hidden deep within Eastern Ipica - could it be involved somehow? Now that the crawling, strangling vines and chilling shadows have reached the edges of major and minor cities alike, local and national governments have decided that something needs to be done about it. But legislators aren’t equipped to run into what used to be wild fae land and is now something much more confusing and unknown - that’s where our adventurers come in. Trekking through bone-chilling lands populated by things seen just out of the corner of your eye, fighting previously unimagined horrors and keeping each other alive in the dark winter of Eastern Ipica… It all takes incredible skill and trust in your fellow man. But how can you trust anyone when you’ve seen what these wilds are capable of producing? What’s next: If you’re interested, send me a message with an introduction of yourself and a brief description of a character you might want to bring to the table! I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone and starting up a new group! TLDR: 21+ game, LGBTQ friendly, high magic and high fantasy, traipsing through corrupted fae lands to see if, somehow, a bunch of strangers can fix it when others have failed miserably before.

Roleplay focused Roleplay focused
— Overview — System: Original Hybrid System (PbtA + WoD + D&D5e) Platform: Owlbear Rodeo + Discord VC Schedule: Saturday 7pm - 9pm pst ( weekly ) Setting: Vancouver, BC, Canada Deadline: Looking to run the Session 0 by April 11th 2026 — Hook — You've forged your own lives in the supernatural underworld; your own jobs, routines, the other bullshit you have to deal with in this decaying pit we call Society™. However, something disrupts it when word gets out that INTERPOL is in town investigating criminal activity; vigilante violence, arms dealing, activity that you have a hand in one way or another. If you don't want to catch yourself in a jailcell or point blank range, you must find out who is behind this investigation and shut their operation down quietly. Can you take on these intruders without blowing your cover? — About the Game Master — Hello Netizens! I’m looking to test out a new TTRPG I've designed. My name is Dryant (25M). I have several years of GM & Player experience with TTRPGs like DnD 5e, VtM V5, and Monster of the Week. I enjoy roleplay and character development just as much as combat. — Concept — This system derives inspiration from Monster of the Week, World of Darkness, and D&D 5e in terms of mechanics. In terms of lore, I got some inspiration from World of Darkness, and is based on the shared universe in my YouTube channel (Feel free to ask to check it out!) The dice used depends on the scene; 2d6 for narrative social scenes, and d20 for combat. From Monster of the Week (and other PbtA games), I established fixed success and failure tiers and borrowed World of Darkness' flexible skill and stat combinations. Skills combine with stats to reflect how your character approaches a task rather than just what they're doing — the same Firearms skill reads differently depending on whether you pair it with Dexterity to shoot, Intelligence to analyze, or Charisma to do a trick. The setting of this game operates in a certain Nobledark register — the world is genuinely dark, institutions are corrupt by design, and change is essentially beyond reach. What isn't beyond reach is personal change, small resistances, and the decision to act with integrity in a world that punishes it.

Horror Horror
using dnd 5e 2014 A homebrew setting with some homebrew-related features. game will be run sundays around 5pm EST ----------------- Set in a high fantasy world where, contrary to the forgotten realm's lore, Giants and Dragons never waged war against one another, and thus were never reduced to a shadow of their former selves; and where humanoid races were guided by powerful magical creatures, being granted a continent of their own to rule by the name of Lynn. Planar powers have a strong presence in the world as they fight for dominancy of the spiritual world of the ethereal plane, or as they try to form cults or spiritual followings to gain power over others. High-level magic is rare in humanoid hands in the prime material but can be found in many forms or in magical items. Ages ago, the world was created by a giant and dragon god whose children inherited it from them. Rules were set, and empires were formed. No major conflicts would lead to disaster, as they each had lands to call their own. Once, the humanoid races appeared across the planet, suddenly with no written history by any race as to how they even came to be, no gods or other powerful being claimed their creation, leading to the greater magical beings to guide the races they found themselves with in their primitive states. Many centuries of guidance with many new humanoid races forming due to planar interactions, the gods granted the humanoids a land of their own, Lynn. The lands of Lynn once were home to the world's humanoid races, who were gifted it by the giant and dragon gods so they may have the ability to rule themselves apart from the giant and dragon races. 60 years prior to the party coming to the lands, a calamity befell the land with 40-foot gates to the elemental planes opening all over the land, each releasing a massive burst of energy relating to the plane they opened to, leading to mass destruction. The elemental plane of fire's gate opened in the center of the capital of the human empire in the center of the continent, leading to its collapse as a wave of fire and explosive force leveled miles around the gate. The nobles who survived escaped to the south coast due to the lack of any deadly gate openings, leading to the creation of the city of Hope. One prime gate exists per plane, which can not be closed by any means, even with the gods' assistance, with many other smaller gates appearing anywhere in the land but never a certain distance from the prime gate. --------- **warning this will be a smaller focused campaign to get my DM mojo back after my break from dming. aiming for at least level 3-8 maybe more if the players want. also using my homebrew for this game.** This campaign shall be centered around survivors finding themselves in the shadowfell version of Lynn having few memories with all sharing a memory of the distant sunny sky and a gentle breeze being the main drive of returning to the normal world. Every player will be allowed to choose from an undead race in my homebrew from zombies or wights to name a few. You awaken to find yourselves in a mineshaft in makeshift holding cells of iron with their doors unlocked. Silence fills the mineshafts but in the distance you hear the moans of the dead. --------- While the setting might be bleak and dark by no means does the players characters. Expect dark tones but not all doom and gloom. Homemade maps created with inkarnate(i do my best) and a updated homebrew doc that i prio players feedback. I am not allowing homebrew classes unless approved but i have a distain for non subclass homebrews. races are up to review. While the game will be centered around the undead filled realm of the shadowfell you may play as a non undead however depending on your choice you might have it rougher. I have a handout with some homebrew races and features you may also select from, including some changes to spells and mechanics, such as a necromancy rework. We will be using a custom point buy system, and during the course of the game, you may find ways to increase stat caps through things such as rituals. **Warning. Subjects including slavery and gore/undead will be explored.** I'm aiming for a group that is roleplay-centered, and I encourage my players to interact with the world and the people around them. For this reason, I will work with you to create a character that fulfills your roleplay themes, be it planar law bringers to even, but not limited to, Demongolists, Fey creatures/servants of Fey, Trogyldtes, or elementalist. New players are welcome. you must be 18 or older to apply.(i dont ask for ID just an honor system. The party will be starting at 3rd level, and the following levels will be gained via milestones. You also get a free starting feat, and **multiclassing will not be allowed.** Elves do not exist in this world We will be using Discord for voice, no use of D&D Beyond, and all sheets, as well as battle maps, will be hosted on Roll20. AI isn't allowed for any character creation process(art is allowed) Aiming to create a hangout space for people to play games and chat outside of game time.

Most adventures are built for you. Barovia was built to break you. Step into a living, breathing nightmare where your choices actually matter and your mistakes have consequences. This is a high-immersion, open-world campaign where the mists don't wait for you to be "ready." Beneath the looming spires of Castle Ravenloft, Count Strahd von Zarovich rules with a cruelty that has no end. In this sandbox, you are free to explore any corner of the realm, but beware: the world is NOT level-balanced. Survival requires wit, scouting, and the wisdom to know when to run. The Horror Experience: - True Sandbox Freedom: Go where you want, when you want. The world reacts to your presence (and your absence) in real-time. - Lethal Consequences: I utilize Lingering Injuries for critical hits. In this campaign, a lucky strike doesn't just lower your HP, it might leave a scar, a limp, or a broken rib that changes your story forever. - Atmospheric Immersion: Using stunning, high-res maps from DM Andy and Czepeku, fully optimized with Roll20 Dynamic Lighting to ensure every dark corner feels dangerous. Game Details: - System: D&D 5e - Schedule: Mondays at 19:00 CET / 20:00 EET - Session Length: 3 Hours (with a 30-minute extension buffer if needed). - Platforms: Roll20, Discord, and DnDBeyond (Full Content Sharing + Beyond20 integration for seamless, fast-paced play). Pricing & The "Pro" Trial: I believe in "Try Before You Buy." I want you to experience the quality of my table risk-free: - Session 0 & Session 1 are FREE. - Rate: $20 USD per session via Startplaying.games. - Bring a friend! If you join together, you BOTH get 50% OFF your first two paid sessions. What You Are Paying For: - Expert Preparation: I invest in premium resources and adapt the story to weave your character’s fears and flaws into the mists of Barovia. - Reliability & Maturity: A paid table avoids "no-shows" and ensures a committed group of adults dedicated to completing the campaign. - Full Access: Use my complete DnDBeyond library for character creation and enjoy top-tier assets from creators like Mad Cartographer and more. Play date is Wednesday at 6pm est If you just want to stand still and smash monsters like a video game, skip this listing. I run enemies smart. If you run through fights too fast, they will sneak up behind you, flank your squishies, and wait in the fog. You actually have to use your brain to stay alive here. My DM Style I’m a newer DM and the Rule of Cool always wins. If you have a wild idea dat makes sense, I’ll let you roll for it. We joke around, break the fourth wall, and hang out like a bunch of buddies. It’s a super relaxed table, but when a fight starts, you need a tactical plan. Standard D&D 5e rules, but run way more fun. The Shifting World This isn't a one-and-done game. Everything connects. Keep Your Gear: When the campaign ends, you don't delete your character. You keep your level, your history, and your legendary weapons for the next adventure. Bad Guys Are Watching: If you become famous in the north, word travels. Big bosses from other books will notice you and might come hunt you down to test your strength.  The Next Step Contact me through the group finder here. We will sit down to play a one-shot to see how the table vibes. If everything goes well, then we start the campaign. Looking for 4 to 5 players to start at Level 1. Show up, think fast, and let’s roll.

Looking for one player for the Between TTRPG

Roleplay focused Roleplay focused
LGBTQ+ friendly LGBTQ+ friendly
Hi all! My name’s Arian(she/her) and I’m looking for 2 players to play the Between ttrpg. There are 2 more players in the group and we’ve had like 3 sessions. I’m looking for more players because of scheduling issues. I’d like to run weekly sessions, even if some of the players are missing. I’m aiming for a short season of 12 or so sessions. What is the Between? It’s a game where you play as monster hunters in Victorian-era London. You will learn about various threats in the city and try to neutralize them, in one way or the other. But it seems that there’s a mastermind behind the curtains who’s seeking to bring the Crown to its knees. The Between is directly inspired by Penny Dreadful tv show, as well as other British horror media. The Between is a powered by the apocalypse game, but the mystery element is inspired by Brindlewood Bay game which means there’s no set solution to any mystery and we will be making up theories and rolling to see if they’re correct or not. Please make sure you’re ok with that. The Between is a game that is quite dark. We will absolutely be using Lines and Veils, but dark themes such as body horror, dark sexual themes, murder of children and animals, blasphemy, witchcraft, foul language are part of the game and can’t be avoided. Day and time: 7 pm GMT + 5 Saturday. Please be sure to check that you’re ok with the time. Where: discord for voice, roll20 for everything else. It will be theatre of the mind, mostly. Session lengths: 3 hours, give or take. Weekly. Tone of the campaign: serious, with minimal jokes and humour. The Between’s PCs are moody, intriguing and torn by their mysterious past. Absolutely no bigotry or hate will be tolerated from any players. This game is lgbt+ inclusive and I’m queer myself.  Who am I? I’m 34, I’m passionate about fantasy and sci-fi books and games of all kinds! Also I paint a lot. English isn’t my first language, so that’s something you need to be aware of. I love ttrpgs since I love making up stories with cool people and I’ve been playing since 2020.  Who am I looking for? Please be 20+. You don’t have to be familiar with the system, we’ll learn together, but please be interested in learning. Please be ready to commit to these 12 or so sessions. Life happens and it’s ok, but if you know you won’t be able to make it to games consistently, it won’t be a game for you. I’d like to play with people who actively want to create stories with others and don’t just wait to be entertained. In the Between, you’ll need to actively narrate the Unseen scenes, set up your own scenes and narrate your scenes from the past, so you’ll have to be ok with that.

Hey everyone, due to some unexpected circumstances, I'm looking for 2 more players to join a custom, rules-lite, and extremely roleplay heavy system I’ve been working on for a while now. This is not a “test-it-out” campaign as it is closer to a full-length (~15-20 sessions campaign) game. We usually play on Sundays every week starting around 10.00 PST. We play entirely on Discord. The system is extremely light in terms of combat. The rules on combat, and perhaps in general, are only there to give certain decisions or actions some weight or a clear result. The game is set in an alternate history Y2K with heavy biopunk and cyberpunk themes clashed with the paranormal. To be more specific, the game is set in an almost completely industrialized Nunavut. “Where the skyline scrapes the stars while soviet era block buildings are left to crumble into the ground.” This is a relatively darker and broodier campaign sprinkled sparsely with dry humor. Some hard topics such as bigotry, terminal diseases, body horror, and harm to children will be discussed throughout the campaign, though I will handle it with utmost care. This is also a 18+ game, some sexual topics might be mentioned but there will be a hard line against directing outright action from GM to players, players to other players, or players to NPC. There may be some raunchy joke here and there, but generally we will not be focusing on the topics of sex or anything remotely sexual. In more details about the setting, Nunavut has turned into clusters of sprawling oil cities. People have discovered magic and technology of the internet, weaving them both into an extremely robust tech-boom period. At the same time, the nuclear-scare got out of hand due to several nukes being dropped throughout major cities in the world during the early cold-war (called the 3rd World War in this setting) so fossil fuel usage runs rampant. The city you are in, Liebknecht, named after an old German revolutionary, is home to several corporation indoor "nest" which is about 300-400 stories tall and 10-20 kilometers diameter structure. Outside of the nests lies the old ruins and coal mines from soviet era which are home to people who can't afford to live within, or at any better places. There's also the city itself which is a relatively "normal" city built entirely on a cement-and-steel platform over the ice. The city borders the Hudson Bay to the east, which in this setting is rich with oil and natural gas. The premise of the game can be summarized as “You lost memories of the past 1-3 months and now you need to face the past, when you weren’t in control of your character. Your goal is to get back to where you need to be and reconcile with whatever happened the last few months.” The game has already started and we just finished session 1, nothing much has happened outside of generally introducing the character to the premise. If you were to join, your character will be introduced relatively smoothly though with some prior mini-story leading up to how they were found by the rest of the crew. Other things I might not have mentioned: 1. I have a hard rule against usage of generative AI in any steps of the game, including character creation. Character art is not required in the slightest, and having none is far more preferable than using Gen AI to make one. 2. Expect this to be a moderate investment of your time. Please mull it over a bit before asking to join since leaving mid-game will be quite hectic. 3. We are only using voice chat, no need for camera, but a microphone is a must. 4. You will need to be free for a bit this week leading up to the next scheduled session time (May 31st) for character creation purposes.

Campaign Name: Danger at Gravehill System: D&D 5e VTT/Platform: Owlbear Rodeo & Discord (Mic is required, webcam is optional) GM: Jareen2 (me) Allowed Content: Basic D&D content, Criticall Role content, If you want homebrew or further third party content, message me to see if I allow it Not allowed content: Homebrew/third party content (unless discussed with me), Custom Lineage, Subclasses that focus on Necromancy About me: I am an experienced Dungeon Master looking for people to join me in my self-written adventure of “Danger at Gravehill”. I have been playing D&D since August 2020 and running D&D since November the same year. This campaign is relative beginner friendly as we do have already two experienced players (me and the other player). And we are more then happy to explain where needed. It has some horror themes to it so be aware of it. Player count: 4/5 Story: Gravehill is a quite peaceful town that has been run by Lord Bucksly and his wife. There is nothing really unique about the town. Although it does have a great yearly market with lots of stuff to sell. Maybe you just want to grab a pint in The Laughing Donkey, maybe you want to buy some cheese or just if your invited attend one of Lord Bucksly many parties. But this time you guys are not here for that. Strange stuff happened on graveyard on the hill that gave this town its name. People claim to see strange stuff and people who did go there never returned. So Lord Bucksly is getting kind of paranoid as people start to flee the town and it will ruin his image. So he send 4-5 brave adventurers 4-5 letters to meet him in his manor as soon as possible! Starting Time: Sunday at 8pm CET/CEST (GMT+1/GMT+2) Session Length: 2-3 hours on average. Starting Level: 3 Stats: Rolled (with proof to DM) Starting Items: Standard Starting Equipment Don't play if your sensitive to: Necromancy, Undead, Death, Murder, also note. I did use AI for character token art for NPC because I lacked budget to get custom art made to match my vision. Further questions can be asked via my discord

I would like players that can help me out when i am stuck, and doesnt mind an inexperienced dm. Preferably very dedicated players that can play atleast bi-weekly. After crash-landing onto the Material Plane, a strange, otherworldly ship brings with it an unexpected wave of piracy, hideous creatures from the bottom of the Trackless Sea, and a notorious foe who has been awakened from the deep, intent on destroying the world as you know it. You must set sail along the Sword Coast, fending off the pirate attacks while putting together the fractured puzzle that will reveal the true villain. A Few days ago, King Olgeave Redaxe of Gundarlun reported a disturbance on the other side of the island but has no warriors to investigate it. His Highness looked for Volounteers, and you were on of few to sign up. In a few Days, you will leave Neverwinter and sail aboard The Voyage, a grand caravel owned by Lord Neverember, on course to Gundarlun. You might have volunteered because of one of the following reasons: ● The characters signed up for the expedition after Lord Neverember’s representatives dispersed fliers asking for volunteers. ● The characters are minor members of the Lord’s Alliance and, due to family connections, were drafted onto The Voyage to prove their worth and earn honour for their family. ● The characters are existing members of the crew of The Voyage. They are mostly mercenary sailors from Mintarn, but with a scattering of other races and ethnicities. ● The characters are members of the Order of the Gauntlet. They have been tasked with keeping the crew safe from pirates. ● The characters are messengers from Gundarlun who came to Neverwinter with news of the disturbance and are travelling back with The Voyage and her crew. ● The crew are members of the Zhentarim, and have been commanded by their superiors to check out this crash, and see if any treasure has been left behind. ● The characters committed a crime in Neverwinter, and are looking to flee the city. Or any other reason you may choose after discussion with the DM

Brief Description of setting: General vibe has fun daftness of a mostly at sea adventure set in a high fantasy homebrew world with some modest Lovecraftian cosmic horror aspects on serious story details while also taking some mild inspiration from Ebberon, and various comic/anime nods. Setting is based in a world with odd occurrences of rifts to various planes, usually dangerous but somewhat controlled in parts. It is a more exotic race/species friendly world, so not human or preferably not human-esk or commonly used fitting in types. In its origin and in the present some of the average in power common races would be Dragonborn, Drow, Varied Genasi, Tiefling of many coloration and minor mix, Goblinoids, Kobold, and various more animal related folk. I do play in some personalised design flavour with such eg: an aarakocra may be designed to be like a bluejay, robin or cardinal. Other bigger world history topics enlightening more to the lack of human populace, cosmic phenomenon and certain hostilities/indifferences between other types of species can be discussed. I try to make good use of character backgrounds and their species connections to world to fuel story, adding and altering as things evolve. On going Party: Water Genasi Warlock- making up for Deep sea cultist history. Kalashtar (Differently designed in origin via other species mix) Blood hunter - dealing with corrupted memory and past related to kidnapping. Fairy Bard - consciousness escaped from a variant of the deck of many Void card and found her body remains minimal in a clockwork toy. Story in motion: The group of female adventurers began on the docks of a central city of my own homebrew world with former players who each had life causes need for taking leave though still their characters are regarded as npc in story. The group has since made their way on seas with strange encounters and new understandings of phenomena linking them. When venturing on the ocean floor after backstory relevant face offs and timeline altering's the group gradually bonded further before having to take on a mission off world in aid of a friend's plight. When the game is:  Fortnightly Sunday eves 5 till 10, start and end is likely a bit in ways of player chatter and ease on to timing of game if we get straight in may end early at time, but either way we usually have mini break. Time/Country: Due to prior difficulty I'd prefer players to be located for 5pm-10pm GMT. Rule/Play Style: High magic with mild steampunk pirate stuff but mainly Fantasy Horror vibes, RP and combat 60/40. Chunks of story can be capable of leaning the odd bit to one more than other. Hombrewy/RuleOfCool-we have homebrew rules with things like exhaustion and crits damage and attunement slots, nothing unlikely to be all too unheard of but primarily we aim for character story lead rulings for well formed character design and in play character related ideas. Resources/VTT needed: voice and vid -Discord, dnd beyond, roll20. New PC starting Level: 7 (up via milestones)with a feat from start and with 4th lvl as well as ability mod- https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/432602/echoes-beyond-realms *--See roll20 link above for other about me/group details and applications. -- *2014/2024 rule use is covered mildly on link but ultimately as the majority of rules are 2014 into Tashas and vast personalised house rulings we have, I can at best say there is mild openness to newer rules being i see it as modest differences from what we already have in place.

No politics of any kind: right, left, sexuality, real world religions, excessive feminism/whatever etc not allowed, if you have a need to make a fuss about that, you will be kicked out. It's perfectly fine to have those views, but don't bring them to the game (this is meant to be fun, social, intellectually challenging). If you have major psych problems that get in the way of simple social interaction (explosive outbursts etc) don't contact me. I do ask for telephone number just in case of you not showing up to game and you didn't tell me otherwise. Emergency stuff, like if you get sick or something. I do care about my players! I have been GMing since 1997 or so, cut my gaming teeth on AD&D first ed. I go above and beyond for my players. I am very adept at teaching, btw. This campaign is on Mondays at 6pm Central time Discord video chat, but we could change time/day if the other players are willing and able. Gimme a heads up the day before canceling a game, always be ready to play at least 75% of the game sessions. You gotta make the characters WITH MY DIRECT ASSISTANCE as I make sure they fit with the group and campaigns, plus I give out extra benefits. No twinks (must have absolute power immediately types), but I will assist you with the math to make a potent PC as possible. Lots of stupid puns and jokes. My campaigns tend to be accidentally lethal, and my NPC's tend to react within the bounds of their Intelligence scores, and ruthlessly so. I poke players into beefing up their defenses in the low levels (in between game sessions), and I am adept at teaching, I value intelligence and wisdom in a player. Vampire has difficult to make characters, as it demands more thought. However the game play dice mechanics/rules are easy as heck. The hard part is that it demands more forethought to play, because there's a lot of deceptive NPCs, including your own. It is oddly more ethical/moral than medieval fantasy games by far, even though you don't play a hero normally, and even though you're a vampire feeding on humans and aren't human yourself. It's darker I suppose, lots of intrigue and figuring out what is really going on. Kinda like watching Babylon 5 or Dune, you have to take notes to recall everything that could be vital later. A LOT less combat than medieval fantasy games! It's rare, but nasty when it does occur. Maturity is advised. The modern day core rulebook is the one you want to spend time reading for the lore, but dark ages will have the discipline dice mechanics. Also, the Book of Nod will feature in the campaign. VERY DETAILED homebrew campaign that can be changed if you do exactly the right things at the right time, you will want to take notes to refer to later on, no exaggeration. RIght now they are in late 1989, you will get their average xp to start with. You even get free generation if I can find a sire, an extra dot of disciplines, and 5 extra freebie plus 2 merits (Potent Aura, Common Sense/1 dot of Status). I give free Generation if you take from the official list. This can vary wildly based on what the two of us come up with (you dictate the parameters, I figure out how to make the mechanics do what you want and tell you about potential problems, and I pick out flaws so as to give you your own story arc). If you take from the Obscure list, you can buy your generation to 7th if you blow 6 background points on it.  Still gotta pick up Mentor for your sire, though.    I had to make tiny changes to V20 to make it simpler, faster. Like Celerity, Fortitude, Potence. Also I don't use crap like Awareness, Larceny, and I kept the damn Linguistics skill as it is needed. That kind of thing. I even have combat rounds with meaningful character speed when I gotta be aware of the local terrain/number of villains etc. The Giovanni I replaced with Cappadocians and Lamia, as the Giovanni were megalomaniacs and incompetent besides, plus they don't seem to be at all relevant to any setting. The Ravnos I replaced as being totally divorced from the rest of the game, they don't have any influence, and seem to exist solely for troublemaking players. So, they got booted in favor of the Salubri, who actually ARE useful. Finally, I outright replaced all Setites with Baali, the latter are a much better written, and much more competent version of the Setites' Lovecraftian "I wanna bring demons into the world" schtick.  I noticed that if you played the Sabbat as written, they'd be wiped out entirely by werewolves, human hunters, and the Camarilla long ago. Worse, if they somehow managed to survive, they'd be discovered as vampires by humanity BECAUSE of their silly anti masquerade antics. On top of that, eating one's elders is a bad idea. All the Sabbat had was neonates and super buff elders, nothing in between. That means their stated purpose was a shambles. I changed their purpose to (eliminating the focus on fighting clan founders) dominating humanity, making humans into slaves. The Black Hand has been subsumed into the Sabbat as a whole. Official list of clans/bloodlines you can take in Chicago compatible with the group as it is: Nosferatu (must take Dark Fate flaw), Toreador, Ventrue, Brujah, Gangrel (Sabbat), Malkavian, City Gangrel (Camarilla), Tzimisce, Gargoyle, Caitiff (Anarch typically), Assamite (Milwaukee Sabbat) Obscure list (you can take them if you want, but you won't have support from fellow clan members in Chicago): Salubri (Warrior and very Camarilla), True Brujah. if you pick from the official list, I can give you free generation, but you gotta also pay for mentor ratings. If you pick from the obscure list, you can BUY up to 7th generation, but you blow 6 dots to pull it off. You will likely still need a mentor though. Caitiff are interesting, I made them able to teach ANY discipline they learn; normally the 13 clans can only teach their clan disciplines. A Tzimisce who goes Camarilla eventually has huge story potential, and could aid the group extensively via Vicissitude 2, Koldunism (need a level 3 ritual late in the campaign), and Animalism to hose over werewolves and aid the party vs frenzy. Brujah, Toreador, Ventrue, and the healer version of Salubri, True Brujah all have clan access to Presence, and level 3 of that power requires Appearance being high..... A Tremere is possible, but you'd need to be a diehard Anarch (meaning the local Tremere want your keister dead). Got a Cappadocian (a hospital morgue doctor), Salubri (one healer(an FBI agent), one watcher (a homicide police detective), and Lasombra (an amateur boxer and criminal lawyer, he wants to go Camarilla), and the new player took a Lamia, she's a former archaeology student. Just got a Tzimisce registered nurse, he's into Vicissisitude for fun and kinky profit, he also grabbed Celerity clan access, and grabbed Koldunic sorcery Way of Earth too. Said Tzimisce wants to go Camarilla as well, but first he has to sweet talk Chicago into also taking in his sire not just himself. WE ARE FULL UP IF THE NEW PLAYERS WORK OUT, SORRY. If this changes I will update this post. If you don't know the clans, I can give you information but you will need the core rulebook, the dark ages core rulebook, tome of secrets, and Erciyes Fragments books. Also a total of 20 d10's, basically two matched sets of 10 d10's, but the 2 sets cannot match each other. Preferably translucent dice, not solid. You will want a spiral notebook and a mech pencil with a white eraser preferred (its gonna be a super complicated campaign lasting at least 2 years of weekly sessions). A plastic page protector for the character sheet, and a wet erase marker. I also run Pathfinder 1e campaigns.

One thousand years in the future, all civilizations crumble after a new monster takes over the world. They don't hunt like normal animals or monsters. They hunt tactically. They set traps, lure in their prey by using familiar sounds and always stick together. The only time they ever separate is when they know the prey is an easy kill or if they believe it. (These monsters have no name rn cause so far it's js an idea with one play and dm). The players are the last remaining hunters of these monsters. Everyone else either died trying to help end them or they quit not willing to lose their lives.  If interested you can contact me here but preferably on discord, user:masterofmimics1, as I check it more often than here.

Hello there! My name is Slum (He/They), and recently I've got the DMing inch, and I've made some homebrew rules that I wanna playtest, so what better way to solve these two problems then to host a oneshot set in the Persona universe? The general premise is simple, you are a group of Persona Users that are working for the Shadow Operatives, investing a strange Shadow related incident in the Northeastern US! I've made a bunch of new rules and rules changes to fit the new style, including the Persona Class everyone will be playing! As for scheduling, it might be a bit sudden, but I'm ideally looking for Saturday, May 9, 2026 7:00 PM. I'd also prefer this to be done in a voice chat, in a custom made discord server I've set up recently. Also keep in mind that while I have some experience with both DMing and SMT TC, I don't have much experience DMing TC, so if I make any mistakes, it's my bad, haha. If you're interested, we can discuss it more in DMs! Looking forward to it!

Something happened to you—something you still can’t fully explain. A moment of fear, loss, or shock tore a hole in the world just wide enough for you to glimpse what most people never see. Since then, the shadows feel heavier. The silence in the woods lasts a little too long. And the stories you once dismissed as superstition no longer feel like stories at all. You are entering the Mythic North, a nineteenth-century Scandinavia where the old ways linger in the spaces modern life has yet to reach. People whisper about strange lights across the fields, figures watching from treelines, and traditions that must never be broken. You know now that these warnings were not meant for children—they were meant for you. You carry the Sight, the ability to see vaesen of myth and lore. With it comes responsibility to investigate mysteries that involve unexplained situations. When something disturbs the balance, you will be the one asked to face it. The unseen is waiting. What to expect: 🔹 A mix of premade mysteries and custom mysteries based on character backstories 🔹 A customizable home base that you can level up and gain benefits from 🔹 19th century inspired feel of alternative world Scandinavia 🔹 Story driven plot with character development implemented Never played Vaesen? Established group are about to embark on their second campaign, having already played through and completed Baldur's Gate Descent Into Avernus, and we have space at the table for one more player! Starting at level 3, this game is ideal for players brand new to DnD or those looking to gain more experience playing with an existing, active group. Experienced players are also most welcome! Game time is 7pm BST (GMT+1) online via Discord/Roll20. The game will also be recorded for publishing on YouTube, so you must be comfortable with this. DRAKKENHEIM IS NO MORE. An eldritch storm of falling stars devastated the city on that woeful eve, leaving behind a meteorite that would have lasting effects. Fifteen years later, Drakkenheim is a dismal urban wasteland contaminated by otherworldly magic and haunted by hideous monsters. Fantastic wealth, lost knowledge, and powerful artifacts lie ready for the taking by adventurers brave or foolish enough to venture into the ruins. However, even those who survive the dangers of Drakkenheim may not return unmarked by its terrors!

Hello Everyone, I am looking for 2 players to join a new long-form campaign: Venice, 1983 — occult, terror, and coming-of-age. A bit about the campaign Your characters are 16 years old living in Venice. It is the 1980s: Walkmans, cigarettes smoked behind the school, parents who don't listen, a city that is beautiful and damp and too old to be entirely safe. Something is wrong in Venice, and the adults around you can't see it. Expect a slow-burn, atmospheric horror campaign: heavy on investigation, relationships, and mood. Low on combat (!) when violence happens, it matters and it hurts. Think Stranger Things mixed with Breakfast Club and Call of Cthulhu. Why 16 years old Sixteen is a threshold. Not a child, not an adult. Old enough to act, too young to be listened to. Everything is louder at sixteen: the first loves, the first betrayals, the first time you realise the people raising you are making it up as they go. Something is being lost, and you can feel it going. That's the whole point. At sixteen your characters will be allowed to be wrong, to make bad calls, to trust the wrong person, to miss what's obvious. That's the material we build from. Their friends will be the centre of the universe; the party isn't a team, but a found family under pressure. And there will be moments when they genuinely feel they can change the world, because at sixteen you do, and sometimes you're even right. Think Stand By Me, It, The Virgin Suicides: kids who walk into something too big for them, who love each other fiercely, and who come out the other side carrying something they can't put down. To play this well you need to be okay being vulnerable, dropping the adult armour, letting your character be clumsy, scared, sincere, melodramatic. If that sounds uncomfortable, this isn't the table for you. If it sounds like the kind of story you've been wanting to tell, we should probably talk. A bit about the format - When: Tuesday evenings, 20:00 OR 21:00 CEST, ~3 hours per session - Where: Discord, with video (fully online) - Duration: long-form, expect 50 sessions - Party: me + 3 players - Ages: 18+ (characters are teens, themes are adult) A bit about the rules Custom homebrew ruleset. Minimal, easy to learn, built around roleplay rather than character sheets. You don't need to know it! I handle mechanics, you handle your character. Deal. This is NOT 5e, I see rules to help with some conflict resolution, I am here for the roleplay and for character growth! A bit about me My name is Carlo. I've been running tabletop games for more than 30 years (sic). I'm a plotter. I like campaigns that are real stories, where each session has a place in a bigger arc but I don't railroad. The players decide what the characters do; I make sure the world reacts. I'm also high-functioning autistic. In practice that means I care intensely about the world and its people, I'm direct when something at the table isn't working, and I'd rather you be direct with me too. Say what you mean, I'll do the same. It's part of why I run the kind of games I run. A bit about you I'm looking for players who: - love story and character-driven roleplay - are comfortable sitting with horror, ambiguity, and slow burns - are okay playing teenagers: awkwardness, bad decisions, first loves, fear of adults - are not here for power-gaming or rule-lawyering The table is LGBT+ safe and welcoming regardless of gender, orientation, background, or experience level. New players are fine. What matters is that you want to tell a story with us. How to join Before anyone commits, I'll run a one-shot session in the setting so we can all see if we click. No pressure either way. If you rached this part, then I will ask you to hop on the form linked below and see if we are compatible! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfhvh6F5MRVYpG6G5-vto0QsLny2of_kVtFDiAMCTDcgY2awA/viewform

Barovia is a valley trapped in magical mist—cut off from the world and ruled by a mysterious immortal known only as Strahd, a name whispered in fearful tones by those who remember the old legends. When you cross the mist’s threshold, the land responds to you, amplifying your hopes and fears in ways you can feel. You’ll walk through villages clinging to strange traditions, encounter ancient spirits offering cryptic warnings, and sense the mist itself watching. This is a Daggerheart adventure where you unravel Strahd’s curse, discover who he truly is, and decide what kind of heroes you will become in a land that refuses to let anyone leave. What to expect: 🩸 Non-linear gameplay: Choose your own path and tackle quests in any order. 🩸 Active villain: Strahd is always watching, manipulating, and shaping the story. 🩸 Moral ambiguity: Barovia’s people are flawed, with no clear heroes or villains. 🩸 Survival in a cursed land: Barovia is bleak, with little hope and even less magic. 🩸 Wonderfully rendered animated interactive maps Tuesdays at 7:30pm EDT You can read the primer here to get a good direction on how to design your character. This is a paid game of $25 + SPG Service Fees per a player per a session. It can be found here on SPG. Session 0 has already begun but can fit one more person before we close the game off to new recruits.  Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.

I’m looking for 1-2 extremely cool people to play in my upcoming Mythcraft Campaign. To join me and my friends in a very Castlevania inspired gothic horror campaign, where the ultimate goal is to defeat Dracula himself before he can establish a reign of eternal darkness. Investigate twisting plots, navigate dark dungeons, and battle fearsome monsters as you grow stronger alongside a legendary artifact of your choice, while trying to maintain your sanity in the face of growing horror. Mythcraft is a d20 based system which should be familiar to fans of D&D and pathfinder but with a modular “skill tree” based class/talent system, perfect for allowing you to build your ideal gothic fantasy hero/heroine/horror etc Strong familiarity with and affinity for the Castlevania games and gothic horror in general is a huge plus. If interested please message me on discord at toma_n7 and we can hash out more details Currently looking at Saturday nights, 6:30PM EST-10:30PM

Hey, everyone. Me and a group of 2 other players are looking for other players to join our table. The campaign has only started recently and takes place in a homebrew region I've been working on. We'll hex crawl heavily in this campaign and explore the region. We've only had 5 sessions so far, and the players find themselves based in the local town of Moonstone. In addition, the players are exploring the Lost Citadel of the Scarlet Minotaur; a dungeon that's a stone's throw from Moonstone.  Availability: Fridays 8 PM EST, bi-weekly.  Who Am I? I'm someone who's been obsessing over TTRPGs for the last 2 years, and have recently gathered a group of players online to play Shadowdark. I think there's something beautiful in crafting a story with friends, and seeing how a session/story unfolds as time goes on. I enjoy to read, am a big fan of horror, and have been recently dipping into fantasy recently. I've DMed a few times for both DnD and Shadowdark, but want to get more experience in Shadowdark specifically. My pronouns are he/him, and I am a 32 year old male, and am very much looking forward to meeting other players in this community. What system will we be playing? We'll be playing Shadowdark, and for now be only using the core rule book and Cursed Scrolls 1-3. What tools will we be using? Owlbear Rodeo for VTT use, and Discord for voice communication. How to learn more about this campaign? Check out this campaign primer I've linked here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1GryANnxw3MkHb_hXxckRn4FLyl8rue3qtegNct0hDUk/edit?usp=sharing How to join or get started? Please fill out the form below so I can learn a little bit about yourself. Thank you and hope to hear from you! https://forms.gle/AhQGwjygV7x27xin6

Chronicle Name: A Wail From The Towers Homebrew: No Language: English Time/Date/Frequency: 7 PM - 10 PM EST, Monday, Weekly Session 0 Date: 4/20/2026 Where & How: Discord for Voice, Roll20 for Rolls, PDF Charcter Sheets. Setting: 2002 Baltimore, Maryland Hook: Heard the word on the word on the street? The corners are hot, missing persons posters are stacking up, and nobodys willing to rat anyone out-it's not just drugs and gangs. Something is weird about the block lately. Shadows lurking in boarded up rowhouses, voices with no bodies calling people to broken street lights. The cops blame it on gang violence, the dealers think it's a bad streak. But you're seeing a rabbit hole, how deep are you willing to go? How To Apply: https://forms.gle/RiVELrY8jEVZ9JJHA All applicants will be one on one interviewed to make sure they're a good fit for the Chronicle., New Players are welcome to apply! This is also my first time being Storyteller for Hunter! Though I do have an extensive DM'ing history with D&D. I can't wait to meet all of you and find the right Hunters to fight in my Chronicle!  If you have any additional questions about the Chronicle please feel free to DM me! Dark Fantasy Game set in the homebrew world we've been playing for 4 years now. Currently looking for ONE player in the GMT Timezone; 50% of the players are from the UK and 50% from Manila, Philippines. We have an opening since one player dropped out. PLEASE READ BEFORE SENDING A MESSAGE! About me: I am the DM/GM for the group for a few years now, I am located in the PST Timezone but I manage an international group on both the Weekdays and Weekends. About the game:  This will be a WEEKEND (SATURDAY) Timeslot; typically 3:30PM GMT/UK. Action-Horror adventure with heavy dark fantasy, Lovecraftrian elements and political intrigue; though the point you are joining in will be mostly action packed/combat and RP oriented. The crew is a mix of adult men and women from The Philippines and The UK. About you: GMT/UK Player preferred due to the timezone, with or without experience. Must be 21+ years old and consistently able to join the sessions for 3 hours. I'm also very sad to even address this but please don't be a knob. I will tell you more details about the story, and hopefully a way to tie you into the game.

Looking for Players – Grimdark Fantasy Campaign (D&D / Homebrew Setting) (This is 18+) A war-torn world stands on the edge of collapse. The kingdom of Elaria is unraveling under the weight of its own cruelty—slavery spreads through its cities, rebellions rise in the shadows, and entire nations fracture under shifting power. The Emerald Expanse pushes back against oppression, carving out territory through blood and defiance. The dwarven Draken Kingdom struggles to rebuild after a primordial disaster. And somewhere beyond reality itself, the Tower of Trials calls to those strong—or desperate—enough to enter. You are not heroes. Not yet. You are survivors, mercenaries, rebels, or something far worse—thrown into a world where morality is blurred, power is earned, and every choice carries weight. Campaign Themes Grimdark fantasy and sunshine/rainbow (moral ambiguity, heavy consequences) War, rebellion, and political intrigue Exploration of brutal systems (slavery, control, survival) Reality-bending dungeons and high-concept trials Character-driven storytelling with long-term impact What to Expect A living world that reacts to your decisions Multiple factions with conflicting goals High-risk encounters (combat is deadly and meaningful) Opportunities for diplomacy, betrayal, and power-building Unique locations ranging from underground slave markets to reality-warping towers Starting Point Players will begin in or around the conflict zones between major powers, with early hooks including: Rebel operations within hostile territory Infiltration and extraction missions Encounters with unstable magical phenomena Rumors of the Tower of Trials resurfacing Tone & Player Fit This campaign is and isn't lighthearted. It deals with: Dark themes Harsh environments Ethical dilemmas Whimsical fantasy corny jokes and etc Looking for players who: Enjoy immersive roleplay Are comfortable with heavy narrative themes Can engage with serious worldbuilding Want their choices to matter Details System: D&D 5e (heavily homebrewed elements) Party Size: 4–6 players Style: RP-focused with meaningful combat Setting: Custom world (Elaria and surrounding nations) If you have any uncomfortabilities please speak to me the DM to better handle the situation  (this post is now closed until further notice! thank you all who applied)

Horror Horror
Hi everyone! I'm a DM with only around six months of experience DMing in person games for my friends and about two years experience of playing. I've basically fallen in love with the game and to this end want to keep practising and improving my DM skills. I'm currently running Curse of Strahd in person, so I'm not COMPLETELY new to it and am confident with the right group of people it'll be awesome. It will be heavy gothic horror with emphasis on roleplay, intense decisions and deep character progression. That's not to say there won't be gritty and unforgiving combat, of course (bring backup characters). Definitely leaning towards gritty, almost survival-like (without being tedious), slow-burn game. We'd use discord and foundry vtt, I have loads of awesome maps and artwork for this module so I think it'll be fun to put it to good use for some lovely players. Timezone is GMT+8 (Perth, Australia) and would likely play Mondays or Tuesdays at around 12pm.

You don't belong here. You were meant to rot, another criminal lost in the endless machine of Oblisvaro, where entire worlds are consumed simply to fuel the beast’s insatiable appetite for growth. But you... you were chosen. You see, Vanguard Omicron, the omniscient A.I. that controls the ship-world of Oblisvaro, has an offer for you. An offer you cannot refuse. An offer you cannot accept either, not without consequences. You're now part of C.R.U.C.I.B.L.E. Officially, you're low-level detectives. Unofficially, you're nothing but expendable operatives, tasked with delving into the darkest, most forbidden regions of Oblisvaro itself. You'll solve crimes no one else dares to take on. You'll uncover secrets no one is ever supposed to know. And with every step you take... you're being watched. Freedom is within reach. But only if you live long enough to achieve it. You must ask yourself... How far are you willing to go to stop being a prisoner?
