You're a newly formed band of heroes who came to Broadhurst, a tiny village in the barony of Dalarath, in search of adventure. There are rumors of bandits on the road and monsters prowling the nearby Silver Wood - people will probably need some help here, and you've decided to stake your claim in this village. 🕛 Time: Saturday, 4:30 PM CET/GMT+1 (Central European Time). Played weekly for 3 hours. 🧙‍♂️ Players: 0/6 - New game, meant to be beginner friendly. 🧙‍♂️ Backup Players: 0/2 - Want to participate but cannot fully attend? Play at your own pace when available. I'm looking to learn and play with a group of new players to run through the introductory section of the Delian Tomb for the Draw Steel TTRPG. This will not be an ongoing campaign, just the first session's worth of content ran as a one-shot to teach new players and myself to learn as I play the Delian Tomb. There is a Requirement to own the game Draw Steel/The Codex on Steam it's a one time Purchase of $20 USD. But then you can play in or run your own Draw Steel games anytime! I'm Jerry, the GM. I run a Sunday afternoon TTRPG group at my home in Las Cruces, New Mexico (Picacho Mountain area). We're preparing our next campaign and building the table now. System: Draw Steel RPG (by MCDM/Matt Colville) with OSR influences Campaign: The Charter of the Sapphire Writ. You play the Justiciars of the Sapphire Writ, a small order granted emergency authority by the Crown to stabilize collapsing borderlands. Restore the King's Peace, break bandit lords, protect the vulnerable. Heroic baseline: you do heroic deeds, you fight for people who can't fight for themselves, you leave places better than you found them. Tone: Tactical. Heroic. Cinematic. This is not grimdark and it's not a dungeon crawl. Think competent heroes making bold choices and winning hard-fought battles. This campaign is meant to emulate and/or take place in the setting of Eternia, the central planet in the Masters of the Universe world. While only surface knowledge of MOTU (main characters, setting, etc) is needed, if you have deeper knowledge, then feel free to speak up. While not as light-hearted as the 1980s Filmation cartoon, this campaign will still have silly moments and be closer to an adventure of the week campaign with hints of a potential looming threat building in the background.     The campaign will be ran at a local game store close to where I live. Username is LightningLancer.     While nothing sexual will be covered beyond potentially flirting with NPCs, violence and blood will be present in this campaign. I'll be providing a list in person to help players list what they feel comfortable and uncomfortable with for session zero. 4.I've had about 5-8 years on and off of being a GM, and this is a new system I'll be trying for this campaign. The system itself is called "Draw Steel" by MCDM productions. 5. Keeping notes is encouraged among the players. Also, two of my RL friends will be attending the session zero, and I'm only able to run for 4 players at maximum. That means at most there are 2 slots available for would-be players.

Draw Steel - The Delian Tomb, new group

Looking for 4 players to join myself and a friend in a beginner game of Draw Steel - The Delian Tomb. I have run a handful of Draw Steel sessions before, but not for some months now. Looking to get a group together to play weekly for ~3 hours on Mondays 11:00 - 15:00 UTC, beginning on Monday 30th March. We'll be using Discord for voice chat and organisation, and Owlbear Rodeo as the VTT. I've got a good track record with online play - just finished a 3+ year long dnd campaign totalling 125 sessions. I'm not looking for too much commitment from my players to start with; 3 or 4 sessions to play the first part of the Delian Tomb, then if everything goes well continuing on to finish the adventure. For anyone who might be interested, signups are open for a short streamed campaign of Draw Steel, a heroic fantasy RPG by MCDM Productions. The system focuses on tactical combat and cinematic storytelling, and the players will all come together to discuss the themes of the campaign before we begin. No experience with the system or default setting is required! We'll be playing on Tuesday evenings at 8PM Eastern / 5PM Pacific / 1AM UK (Wed) starting in late March. We're planning to play for roughly five sessions, plus a two-part off-stream session zero.
