This campaign takes place in the region known as the Western Lands, a border territory where civilization struggles to gain a foothold against the dangers of the wild. Small villages, scattered keeps, forgotten ruins, and large forests own the landscape. Opportunity for adventure is common, danger moreso. The adventure begins in Morgansfort, a decently sized stronghold built to bring order to the frontier. Once a simple fortified outpost, it now serves as a base for traders, settlers, mercenaries, and adventurers looking to carve their name into the earth. You are a small mercenary group/adventuring company on the hunt for work, glory, and most importantly, gold, and you were recently given a tip about an abandoned stronghold to the south...
